That was kind of explained ,If I may elaborate a bit: NonGyu finds concrete evidence and video footage which reveals that her brother was the person who ordered the hit on Xinxu's parents and forced Xinxu into secret experiments, subjecting him to torture. After wreaking havoc and causing immense ruin in their lives, her bro commits suicide, intentionally leaving behind a manipulative mess designed to permanently fracture the trust between her and Xinxu. I should also remind you that her brother was an Affinity B virus carrier, which made him unstable and skewed his views on many things. Xinxu actually tried to save him, but her brother slapped his hand away to ensure his own demise...he was aware that Nongyu was watching. The rooftop incident was the culmination of his malicious plans against Xinxu. In my opinion, he was in a berserk, psycho-like state, even if that meant his own death. He clearly didn't want them to be together-a total control freak! By the end of the series, everything comes to light I reckon..Hope that helped. Yeah, this series is MAD ! Very eclectic.

Sorry for the late reply. By now, you probably figured it out. Yes, he was attracted to her the first time he saw her. Both were carriers of the A and B affinity virus( so there's a biological pull ,she also couldn't deny it), and I believe he genuinely fell for her at first sight-though he didn’t realise it until later. The pull was too strong to resist. He also couldn’t let go of her, because he was madly in love. Over time, this love deepened, and he found it impossible to exist without her as a separate, independent entity. Too much history between them etc.
I just started the show so I have nothing to say about the content. Is it just me or does anyone else think the…
His face has always had a slightly feminine, delicate quality, so I'm not sure what exactly has changed. As far as I remember, his features have always been soft and graceful-very youthful! More boyish than manly and mature. To me, he still looks pretty much the same. His type of beauty reminds me of Ahn Jae Hyun.
He is a beautiful man! It's absurd to claim otherwise. He is a very decent actor too. No complaints whatsoever. I'm rolling my eyes reading some of the comments..
i do too. dailogues and pacing off plus sig is almost robotic in some of the shots and it's weird and this show…
Yes! Sometimes he sounds so robotic and monotonous, as if he's reading from a teleprompter or is hypnotized or something-both of them, honestly, the FL and the ML. There’s hardly any expression on his face, which makes it feel so uncanny. The female lead’s face often remains blank ...ugh why does it feel so soulless overall .Too bad cause I love Seo In Guk so much and I don't mind the FL too cause I have never seen her in a drama, I have no clue about her as an actress.
I am so sorry, I really love Seo In Guk, however, why does everything seem so sterile and awkwardly scripted? (Yes, I understand that dramas are scripted and based on screenplays, but I feel like this drama lacks some flair and spontaneity or rather actors are unable to translate it and bring it to life) The characters are flawed, yet they also come across as hollow? I'm not sure if it's due to the acting or something else. Even their kisses seem choreographed...there’s no authenticity to them. The way they talk and act feels artificial, almost like it’s generated by AI or ChatGPT. Something is missing. Anyone feels this way or am I going insane?
He needs to start acting in more movies.... it's almost 8 years since his last movie.
He's doing more theatre/musicals than films or TV series as far as I know. He at least tries to balance both mediums evenly ,that's why it seems like he is rarely on the screen. Hope to see him in more films and TV series too. He is so outstanding !
I see it completely differently. 😄Considering how much low-effort CGI there usually is in K-dramas and similar…
Because mostly likely it was not CGI but total A.I...CGI is super expensive and time consuming. I reckon they used A.I -that's why it looks better but has this uncanny ,too polished feel.
A lot of people rave about the visuals, cinematography, and CGI... Indeed, everything looks gorgeous, top-notch quality .So I can't help but wonder if they've relied heavily on AI for that. It certainly looks like loads of A.I to be honest. Watching this gives me a strange, uncanny feeling. It looks stunning, sure, but still...my brain rebels I reckon, hehe. Hope I am wrong! I guess, that's our new reality. Would be lovely if they still made series and films with no A.I at all and certify it as 'Human only' or 'A.I' free ,lol. I love the actors and the setting though, so I will continue watching. The supernatural vibe is insane. So far I love it.
Yoona wants to work with a predator? I guess she's given up on all the PR fluff her team used to build her career.…
Why are you attacking the girl over this? She has the least power in their society and the most to lose. I understand your perspective, but I believe this is misplaced anger. The real question is whether she truly has the privilege to walk away from it or not. It would be ideal to be morally upstanding all the time without facing any repercussions. If she chooses not to, I would be disappointed, but I wouldn't hold it against her forever. I would simply choose not to watch it. It's tough for women in SK.
