Oh,I truly feel bad for Deuk Chan too. As humans, we can all relate to him in some way or another. It was heart-breaking to uncover the reason why all of this happened. However, despite this, he ended up destroying the lives of multiple people (Do Ha, his own wife, his child, brother, Do Ha's first love and her brother) due to his horrendous actions and the secret he was hiding. His intentions toward Do Ha weren’t good either-his selfishness and unrequited love caused immense suffering.
Do Ha was persecuted and blamed to such an extent that he had to hide his face and live in the shadows, tormented by nightmares and the constant fear of being discovered even though he was innocent. It was a form of torture, and Deuk Chan witnessed this every day while leading a semi-normal life -living a lie, but not as a suspect. So , yes I do feel bad for Deuk Chan cause he was a tragic figure but his choices ultimately made him a monster. I wouldn't have been able to sleep at night if I were him. So many lives ruined... P.S Also , I genuinely love the actor.

Nah, sorry to be sceptical but the real reason is probably that some idiots kept bullying her senselessly about her healthy, beautiful body, and it finally affected her. The role possibly aligned with her goal. She used to have so much vitality -being skinny or even bone-thin isn't necessarily bad, but come on, it's frustrating how women are almost never asked to gain muscle or weight for the role but instead get emaciated into oblivion. And if that is not the case , they should have chosen an actress who is already naturally bone -thin instead of making this poor girl lose dangerous amount of weight. It's weird. It's not like they have shortage of great actresses. I'm just frustrated I guess.

I don't know much about the plot but overall out of curiosity, I checked some parts of the novel to gauge the vibe, and I would say the novel is much more raw. Their relationship and interactions are considerably more toxic. The male lead is less forgiving and less subtle in expressing his love and managing his affairs. Some of their shared intimate moments, to say the least, are questionable in my book! Quite dark! The ML comes across more as a bad boy, he isn't as lovey-dovey as the character in the drama. In the novel, he is intense and rough.

I love this drama so much! I keep re-watching it. The story is wonderful, the chemistry is amazing, the cinematography is stunning, and the acting is absolutely top-notch. They were so natural in their roles-truly peak acting. How come it is not as popular as some other dramas ?Have no clue, it boggles my mind. Such a waste!

At last!Yoo Ah In! It is shameful that such a talented individual has been kept away from the screen ( for no good reason whatsoever) , while all kinds of sexual predators and offenders are allowed to continue their careers with no consequences. This is utterly outrageous and says a lot about the society...Their priorities and morals are so twisted. I realy hope he will come back soon rejuvenated and in good spirits.

Mate, if you’re seeing BL, or queerbaiting-like you called it-in this drama or anywhere else where it’s not clearly indicated, I think you might be misinterpreting. What you’re suggesting seems delusional, and it appears that personal preferences or fetishes may be influencing your perspective. If you’re constantly perceiving or wishing for BL everywhere, it could be a sign of a fetish rather than an objective observation. I have seen so many people doing that recently.

What can I say... He is insanely talented. He impressed me deeply in the most bizarre show I recently watched, Affinity. He possesses a remarkable sex appeal and is incredibly charismatic. I just wish he would land more roles in full-length, high-quality dramas or films where he can showcase his versatility, as there's no doubt he can portray complex characters with ease. I'm not implying that mini-dramas are beneath him, but I believe it's harder to gain proper recognition in those formats. He needs to become more widely known. He is truly captivating.

Turn your brain off, haha. If you are fond of romance just stay for the kiss fest and a hot male lead who can definitely act. I skip a lot but it's worth to watch just for him. The episodes are short and the story so weird that I can't help but to continue.

I recently discovered this GORGEOUS man, thanks to Love Between The Lines, and I was very impressed with his subtle, understated acting. He has my undivided attention now. I'm so pleased to see him in yet another role. Ayyo, he looks so inviting that you just want to melt into his embrace. I haven't seen this beautiful lady before, but I hope she is equally captivating.

He looks very intriguing to me. I initially thought he was of mixed race when I watched Love Between the Lines.. Even his skin texture appeared to be similar to that of Caucasians, if I may say so...and I don't mean the skin tone or anything like that. It got me hella confused .Nevertheless, his features are quite striking -no doubt! He totally looks like royalty ,such a gorgeous man.Ooof!

Such a great talent yet so little recognised and underused. Shame on industry. He is a real gem and an eye candy.

I don't even know what to say... This is so bizarre and uncanny. The storyline feels incredibly hectic-like a fever dream with multiple alternate worlds colliding. But the main male character definitely SLAPS! He’s got skills and knows how to convey a wide range of emotions. I’m watching mainly for him, he pretty much carries this show because the plot is somewhat ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong-I love quirky, offbeat films and series, but this one kind of takes it to another level. The characters are constantly engaging in some wild shite and making weird choices...I am speechless.

I’ve watched this one multiple times. It’s another comfort drama I keep returning to. It’s hard to pinpoint why this series stuck with me, but I really enjoed the slow-burn romance and the slice-of-life elements of it. Contrary to many opinions, I found Cha Eun Woo’s performance satisfying. He embodies the calm, aloof exterior, while inside he’s tender, warm-hearted, and understanding. His stoicism was a trait I particularly appreciated.

The second half dragged on a bit too long, they could have wrapped it up in 26–28 episodes.Too many flashbacks ,felt a bit like a filler. Nevertheless, it remains one of the best melancholic, slow-burn romances out there. Very tender and tear-inducing, yet heart-warming. The quality is on par with Hidden Love. It’s destined to become a classic in its genre for many years to come. It's such a shame they haven't released the BGM score, as it was particularly beautiful and elevated several scenes, making them much more poignant and heart-wrenching.

I need to see him in more supernatural, fantasy, or thriller series with a hint of romance. The man can act and is incredibly captivating!I could admire his mole, eyes, and smile for days. Please, don’t waste his potential-he’s clearly capable of delivering top-tier, challenging roles. I do not mind work place dramas though as long as they carry some more depth. I wish him all the best. ♥️

What do you mean by recognition? He’s already very well known, appreciated, and recognised in South Korea as both an actor and musician. I haven't heard much about the female lead, though, since I'm not really into K-pop. Only a small fraction of Korean society is interested in K-pop, most people are more familiar with actors. I understand what you mean about her global popularity, though. Seo In Guk is also well known abroad but I guess the difference is an age bracket type. When you look up his dramas, you'll see that he’s been paired with some of the best in the industry. He’s starred as the main in Death’s Game, Doom at Your Service, and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. There is no doubt that he is of main lead calibre and does not need to prove it. I suppose maybe the younger generations are not as aware of that... I’m not sure :)

In the novel, he was definitely portrayed as more of a 'wildcard' 'bad boy' type. While reading, I was somewhat shocked because I didn't expect him to be this 'naughty naughty' if you know what I mean.However, he still maintained a strong moral compass and integrity. Here, they made him PG-rated , more innocent and very proper with a slight mischievous streak.
