I realised "My sweet mobster" is so " Strong women do bong soon coded".
I'm not sure where you're getting the comparison. They have a wholesome set of leads and that's where it ends. By episode 10 Do Bong-soon had lost much of its charm with the repetitive jokes about domestic violence and the unnecessarily awful scenes of abuse by the kidnapper.
is it a good watch despite the ending?Do they have cute moments or interactions, or is there overall good chemistry…
I found 13 onwards weak because I really hate disease as a late plot device. It's the same kind of thing that kept Just Between Lovers from being a perfect 10. Before that I found both the ML and the SML quite strong as characters and the FL fruity but bearable.
i'm angry she's pregnant cos why?!?!?!?! you can't just fuck someone you like? it has to have some unplanned consequence?…
Have you watched episodes that I have not? It's a romcom, not Kramer vs Kramer. And, broadly speaking, romcoms don't have abortions because abortions are unpleasant and not funny.
Maybe put away the fourth wave feminist cancel cannon until we see how the story develops?
not only hansoo actually. tbh seojin is the only normal character in this. other characters just piss me off
What does hair have to do with anything? The character so far is set up to act like a thug. But what do I know, maybe he's a misunderstood zen master with a side job as a corporate sociopath. Go on, persuade me.
The subtitlers on Viki left placeholders for all the phones and document headers. The script favors curt answers so it often omits greetings and context for phone calls. I don't read Hangul fast enough and have to keep rewinding to read the phone screen and see who's calling or what they're reading. Annoying.
A dirtbag lawyer and a scumbag lawyer doing things together—and to each other—that are neither ethical nor legal. You have to get your mind around one thing if you want to enjoy Hyena: the leads are one terrible, horrible, sexy pair of malcontents. If you love righteousness and justice, look elsewhere. This is not One Dollar Lawyer.
I see complaints about a lack of romance from some quarters. But seriously, who needs romance when you can add a Kim Hye-soo dominatrix fantasy to your life, right?
who the hell is giving it lower ratings? I understand this may not allign to your taste but staright away labelling…
I don't rate before I've finished or dropped but I can see their point. Ep 3 left me with more questions than answers... and a suspicion that I won't understand the answers in the next episode either.

Normal as in she is the only one who looks like she actually belongs in that office, right? Less normal as in wtf is her chummy act with the relative who looks like he beats up women as a hobby.
2nd episode and this drama feels kinda childish to me, does it stay the same or get more mature because im 36,…
Your ratings say that you hated Mad For Each Other and loved Love To Hate You. I'd probably skip it if I were you.
I'm older than you and completed it. I did not find it childish as such but I suspect that the characters were written by people who have forgotten what 22 looked like even for their own generation.
the acting and editing was so hard to watch i could barely finish ep1 :( I found myself cringing a LOT. does that…
The first 3-4 episodes are a bit of a struggle. Once the FL figures out that she's being paid for this job and quits phoning it in (or the director finally lights a fire under her ass), the overall improvement is rather dramatic.
I took pretty long breaks between the first four episodes but the rest went down quite easily in two episodes a day. But you're right about the cringe factor. A very good script was handed to a production crew that was not good enough to bring out its potential. I'd watch a remake.
Don't invest too much in the casting, the acting, the writing, or the production values. The cinematography is atrocious and the Hungry Wok makes Jinny's Kitchen look like gourmet chefs.
Why watch it anyway? Because it's light viewing when you need it, the bad guys get their comeuppance, and the bromance is out of this world.
Monthly Magazine Home. Season 9 of "Scrubs." Oh My Ladylord. This beats them all and it's not even close.
