my sweet mobster ending today.... nothing to smile about in my life 😔 i havent watched many kdramas, does anyone…
Touch Your Heart Her Private Life The Law Cafe (minus episode 15, just like this one) Hometown Cha-cha-cha (didn't like it much but I'm in the minority and it sounds like what you're looking for).
I specifically chose shows with no ghosts, psychic powers, or metaphysical gimmicks. That's a whole different set of recommendations that doesn't match My Sweet Mobster.
Nothing says romance like the 130 seconds before the "Final titles" being product placement instead of wedding scene. It's like "Crash", just in Audi. K-drama gonna do what K-drama gonna do.
Episode 15 should be skipped. A lot of predictable, anxiety inducing violence that adds next to nothing to the plot and indeed creates more loose ends than it ties up. Fill in the gaps yourself and go straight from the ep 14 brick to ep 16. Everything you need to know about ep 15 is in the flashbacks.
I'd be disappointed if I hadn't seen it coming. The K-drama curse continues.
I really hate it when a FL is competent, intelligent, compassionate, articulate... and a complete pushover. And I really, really hate it when that gets in the way of a well thought out story.
I gave it half a point and I can't say whether it's for Jung So-min's face or for Lee Si-young's legs. Either way it's for some toxic, sexist reason because that fits the theme. Everything else is the biggest, fattest zero I have ever seen on television, and that includes Caillou and Honey Boo Boo.
I judge you by your rating for this series. If it's over 7 we are fundamentally incompatible personalities and looking for very different things in life. And if that puts me at odds with God, well... I'll take my chances.
The leads had all the chemistry of a pair of Easter Island statues.
ML was like his wife was watching the kiss scenes and he didn't dare to put anything into them. His wife, on the other hand, is a better actor and her screen kisses are still convincing.
It does need to be your kind of crazy to enjoy. If you liked "Delicatessen" or "The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover" you will probably get some good mileage out of this one.
It's a film made for the the kind of disturbed individuals who know that they should feel guilty about loving it but love it anyway. Like me.
Why isn't it on Netflix? even though it's on Netflix?
I checked thoroughly. It's long gone from Netflix but no one here has updated the info. Update submitted. A lot of information depends on us to keep it up to date.
The show is on Viki if you have a subscription, under the title "Kangchi, the Beginning."
I knew this wasn’t gonna be the case but I’m happy there wasn’t talk of abortion concerning Mi Ho’s character.
Someone did break out the feminist cancel cannon a few episodes ago based on an assumption that the character would be compelled to never bring up choice. They were mistaken. She makes a very confident declaration in which it is implicit that she made a conscious and empowered choice. I respect the writers for that.
Don't get me wrong. I am fiercely pro choice but do not believe that abortion discussions belong in rom coms.
is it just me? I don't like when guys in k dramas show off with their money and just kind of throw it at the FL…
It's okay. He's self made and nice, and not some tsundere chaebol heir. This is (thank every god in the universe) not Business Proposal. And, while he did go a bit overboard with the car, he didn't flash the bank book until after he closed the deal.

All I can do is cross my fingers for next week but the huge anticipation really isn't there anymore.
