Imo...outside of the ML's stepmom (and indirectly, the dad), the Yang family members aren't really bad. It's just…
I wasn't sure what she meant about Hyun Bin lying to her. I figured I missed something from a previous episode. I think she was so hurt and shocked that is why she lashed out at him.
It's funny to me how kdrama characters experiencing emotional trauma almost always end up becoming ill and having a fever.
BTW, I'm in the U.S. and watch on Kocowa. I get the subbed episodes around 3pm eastern time on Saturday and Sunday.
The drama is good, but it's just too slanted in favour of the Gongs over the Yangs, and I just... don't feel it?…
Imo...outside of the ML's stepmom (and indirectly, the dad), the Yang family members aren't really bad. It's just that the stepmom skews it that way because she is sooooo bad. I mean, she is just a horrible person. She even supposedly loves her husband so much, but I don't believe for one minute that she genuinely wants the two families to be friends...which is one of the things her husband wants the most. She taints the entire family. (Can you tell I don't like her?🤣)
Though I will say that FL's mom has the capability of being bad/mean. She can guilt trip and shred others to pieces with the best of them.
yes .. till now the stepmother is really awful . t want the ML to talk to her seriously .... his step mother is…
You're rght about that. Not sure if it's because they consider her an outsider trying to get into the elite circle, or if they can see how opportunistic and scheming she is.
As great as this series has been, 3 things fell flat for me in Ep 20:1. Why did they minimize the injury to Bucket?…
I thought the same about the forgiving part. However, in her defense, she did tell him earlier that he had nothing to apologize for and when she said she would cook for him next time, he was the one that said something like "So you forgive me?" Granted, she should have again said he didn't do anything to forgive...
So, definitely a bad few lines of dialogue...but I think, in my mind, I'll let it pass.😁
I wondered about that when grandma was reminiscing...but gosh wouldn't that make any romance between Eunae and…
I stopped watching for a while because I didn't like the FL sister...what a piece of trash she was...but I started watching again, but haven't finished it.
I just caught up to latest episode and I can't believe I'm already 100% frustrated with Eunae (and her sister). They are both acting stupid.
I agree with everyone here. It makes no sense...Eunae is smart from a engineering/design standpoint, but stupid in the business/commonsense department.
It's disappointing that we have another female lead that falls short of expectations (at least for now).
For the other characters, I like Ko Gyeol, Eunae's dad and Ko Gyeol's grandma and grandpa. Everyone one else...not so much.
The last few seconds, of episode 8, suggest grandma, Yeonghwa, might be the biological grandmother of Eunae who…
I wondered about that when grandma was reminiscing...but gosh wouldn't that make any romance between Eunae and ML another convoluted mess? I understand that he was adopted( he was right? Or did I miss something in an earlier ep?)...anyway...even if he's adopted and she turns out to be the bio granddaughter, won't they be considered family?
She makes me crazy!

But this woman's intentions are mean and hateful. It almost seems like she takes pleasure out of being hurtful.
I feel bad for Hyun Bin and Ju A. I think I feel worse for Hyun Bin. I understand Ju A being hurt, but she was hard on him.
Edited to add: at least the episode ended on a better note for them.

But it's early days, I have to practice patience!
I guess I should say "watched" not "saw".😁
