Because Gyu Rim is Gyu Rim nobody in her family respect her. Even her son. But she really didn't deserve any respect.…
While I can see your viewpoint, I also feel that Gyu Yeong needs to be ashamed of her own behavior...regardless of her circumstances, she doesn't have to be such a greedy golddigger while passing judgment on everyone else.
Gyu O and Hui na as teacher x Host reminds me of the Japanese drama learning to love.I'm actually looking forward…
I watched Learning To Love...I liked it. The male lead was, all at the same time...cute, charming, awkward...like a newborn colt trying to stand up and take his first steps.
Is Hui na the girl that talked to Gyu O on the phone? I thought it was, but I wasn't sure.
I'm trying really hard to understand GyuRim and empathize with her. BUT...it's hard.- I'm guessing she doesn't…
Yes...I was originally thinking he had sufficient financial resources to hire private investigators...but later we learned that MuJin is still not reconciled with his mom, so I guess he could only look for her on his own, with limited resources. If your comment about what happened to GyuRim and her family during the 8 year period are correct, then that would explain why he couldn't find her.
I'm trying really hard to understand GyuRim and empathize with her. BUT...it's hard.- I'm guessing she doesn't…
GyuRim probably thinks that MuJin doesn't want to get back with her because of what he thinks happened 8 years ago, so she is not going to use Gyeol to get him back (again assuming that Gyeol is biologically her son...I think he is, but maybe there is a big plot twist coming).
Even after 8 years, she is still not confident in herself or the relationship they had because of her family circumstances.
Just my take, of course.
Yes, I did read that comment. So I guess your question should be why they didn't try to find someone who at least looks younger than 50!😁
I'm already anxious for Gyurim and MuJin to resolve things and be together. But we have too many eps left...more angst to come.
I wonder what Gyurim thinks GyuOh does for a living since she doesn't know the truth.
One thing I forgot to mention...while Gyurim should have kept a better eye on Gyeol, I blame MuJin as well. He should not have called a young child out to meet without parental consent. I realize it was to show how similar they are and to give MuJin and Gyurim another opportunity to meet. Also for him to be able to ask the question about paternity. But still...they should have come up with a better way for them to meet.
Lastly...what a mess GyuYeong has gotten herself into with the marriage.
From the preview for today's ep, it looks like they finally meet the mom again? I wasn't expecting that to happen so soon.
Heungsik looks like he is at least mid 50s.Gyuyeong looks like early 30s.That is a huge age gap of more than 20…
I'm trying really hard to understand GyuRim and empathize with her. BUT...it's hard. - I'm guessing she doesn't want MuJin to know he's the father because she's afraid that he will take Gyeol away from her. However, if Gyeol is not GyuRim's biological son, then no need to worry? They sure are making it look like Gyeol is GyuRim's. Head fake? - for her to say that she would be grateful if Heungsik would accept her was insane. Let's hope she doesn't do something drastic...
For the rest of the family, I have no sympathy whatsoever for GyuYeoung , GyuOh or the dad. I wanted to be sympathetic to GyuOh, but that's too hard as well. You can tell he's disgusted with himself about what he does. But not enough to stop. I am sympathetic to the two younger ones and to Gyeol.
I was surprised that MuJin spent years looking for GyuRim. I wonder why he wasn't able to find her? I hope that he finds out soon that GyuRim didn't take the money. I hate to see him be mean to her because he thinks she did take it.
I agree. There do not seem to be enough episodes left for all the fallout so many characters will have to come…
No, I don't think Gwansik is going to tell the truth to Gyeol right now either. I agree, he's a moron!
Seungjun shouldn't be blamed for the accident, but he could be blamed for withholding evidence of a crime. Whether Gyeol would blame him or give him a pass since Seungjun saved him, who knows at this point.
I agree. There do not seem to be enough episodes left for all the fallout so many characters will have to come…
Don't know...I thought you were referring to how he might be treated by the police.
As far as how Gyeol feels toward Seongjun, then yes, it's possible that he would forgive him his part in it if he finds out that Seongjun is the one who pulled him from his car.
It all depends on what reaction Gyeol has once he finds out the truth about everything. Will he blame all 3? Will he only blame Daechi?
Even if he blames all 3, will he want to break up with Eunae? What if Eunae wants to break up with him? (as I mentioned in previous comment).
I agree. There do not seem to be enough episodes left for all the fallout so many characters will have to come…
I still think it's possible that Gwansik might not serve any additional time because of his time already served...the perjury is related to that crime/sentence. But I could be wrong.
I don't know about Seongjun...they might take what he did into consideration.
I agree. There do not seem to be enough episodes left for all the fallout so many characters will have to come…
Once the truth comes out...with the police knowing that Daechi intentionally rammed the other car, then I think it would be considered murder (in the U.S. I think it would be 2nd degree murder) and SOL should no longer apply.
But that intent has to be clear...which would mean that Gwansik would have to testify that Daechi purposely swerved into the other car...that Daechi knew what he was doing.
I can tell Gwansik is going to be frustrating as hell.
Yes...even though Seungri is perfectly willing for the truth to come out and is (as we've discovered) much stronger than he thinks. She's not just "daddy's little girl".
I'll be the 1st to admit that I disliked her charactet when she was obsessed with Gyeol, but she has shown serious character growth lately.
The Hunters, Gyeol and Eunae, are closing in on their prey but little do they know that it is not one but three…
@Aera8, after watching today's episode, if Eunae finds out about her Dad's involvement in the accident, she may be the one who pulls the plug on the marriage and even their relationship.
I can see her making that kind of sacrifice...("how can I face you knowing my Dad was involved in covering up your Dad's accident/murder?").
Now that Gyeol has officially proposed, he's gonna find out everything soon...either from his own memories or with help from the reporter and/or the walkie talkie. And....while I'm typing this, the reporter tells him the driver's name was Seo...major step closer.
Now that I'm thinking about it, why couldn't Gyeol have already found out who was responsible for the accident. Especially since there was an arrest and conviction. Is that not public record? Or was that mentioned before and I just can't remember...
So...are we taking bets on whether Eunhyeong and Jiseon will get back together? Before, I would have said no, but now...things look different. Poor Cho Rong will be heartbroken if they get back together.

Wow...I've written a novel here.

This has been a pretty good drama so far. Let's hope they don't screw it up in the last 20+ episodes.

I agree...Eunhyeong didn't jump with enthusiasm, but he's soooooooooooooo laid back, it is hard to read what is going on inside.
I'm hoping that Jiseon has learned her lesson about money, but I don't really trust her either.
Now that I'm thinking about it, why couldn't Gyeol have already found out who was responsible for the accident. Especially since there was an arrest and conviction. Is that not public record? Or was that mentioned before and I just can't remember...
