It sure seems like it is wrong. Because one sibling can't get his act together, another sibling is being asked to pay the price. Then being made to feel guilty when she says no.

Wow...not sure how I feel about Eunae's mom asking her for the investment money to pay for her brother's job. On the surface, it seems completely wrong and unfair to Eunae.

I just meant that he's very "principled" when it comes to paying for a job, but has no problem hiding things from his parents.

I'm not crazy about him either.

I hope so as well. You almost have to think that she will...they've gone to such great lengths to make her unlikeable.

It shouldn't be mandatory for sure, but I bet if you don't participate then it comes back to bite you later on...like not being a 'team player".

I totally understand that drinking is part of the Korean workplace culture (or at least the Korean drama workplace culture), but getting completely wasted in front of your managers just seems like totally unacceptable behavior. Did they do this just so that she would sing along with the song the ML was singing? (maybe something she wouldn't do if she wasn't drunk?)

Repeating what I commented on previously...maybe they are showing her in an unfavorable light (again imo) in order to have her grow in a more positive direction later on in the show.

I agree...but I assumed it was maybe something expected or acceptable in the Korean workplace. But definitely sounds like a scam.

I've been thinking the same thing. While I agree that he shouldn't have to fork out money to get the job, he has to be a little more realistic. I'm all for standing on principle as well, but you have to help support your family.

I agree with you. Maybe they are setting her up for some major character growth down the line.

Eun Ae is so unprofessional it makes me cringe a little bit. She should have known better than to snoop on her manager's work computer. At this point I have very little respect for her.
