As a viewer, we can experience frustration as well as other emotions...empathy, enjoyment, sadness, anger, understanding etc, for the characters and the circumstances they are going through.
Just because we, as viewers, comment on one, doesn't mean that we don't also feel the others.
I'm enjoying the drama so far...even if it's frustrating to watch certain aspects.

It is frustrating for me also, because the FL works so very hard to keep her family together, but she's not receiving any help from the other members of the family...when all of them are old enough to help out to some degree.
As far as her standing up for herself, she blurted out something that wasn't 100% true because of her own frustration. Her character is honest and upright, so it's only natural that she admits that she wasn't telling the truth. While I understand why she said that, I'm glad she came clean...but she really had no choice otherwise (even if ML bailed her out).
To me it's not a great example of "standing up for yourself", but I feel like we will see better examples further along. I like the FL and I want her character to grow even stronger.
Let's continue to watch and root for her to get the happiness that she deserves.

I wonder how Seungri is going to feel when she learns that her father didn't cause the accident, but she is marrying (or married to) the son of the man who did cause it. If (when) Gyeol breaks up with Eunae, will Seongri want to try to get back with Gyeol?

I agree about Daechi, but Gwansik should never have agreed to cover for him, money or not. Not when someone died because of Daechi's actions. I'm sort of disgusted with all of them. While Eunae's dad wasn't a witness to what happened, he is part of the coverup also, so I'm not happy with him either.
I'm now leaning to his part in the coverup being part of the reason for the (what I'm sure will happen) breakup between Gyeol and Eunae.

I don't think it will be an ongoing thing. More like another example of the struggles the family has (the FL younger brother getting into trouble for beating up the bullies...because the victim was too intimidated to stand up and tell the truth about what happened.
The side dish thing is definitely a curiosity. Was it the first job she went to before heading to the steak place?
Initially, I thought it might be as well, but that didn't look like a "side dish shop"...but I'm not familiar with it, so I could be wrong. My only experience with side dish shops in dramas was in First Man.😁

It's possible. I originally thought that maybe the side dish shop was her day job and working at the restaurant was her night job, but then she is shown doing other jobs, including working at a different restaurant during the day.

Yes, i agree. It must be something related to why GwonSik took the fall for Daechi (at least we are assuming he did). It was probably for money to help GwonSik's business, as others have previously stated in comments. The flash drive probably has the conversation where they discussed it.

I like the younger brother and the two younger siblings, but can't stand Gyu Yeong and the worthless dad.
I enjoyed the first episode. I'm a Ha Seok Jin fan, so I am biased, but I like his character so far. He's wealthly, but doesn't act entitled.
Seems like the MDL synopsis is misleading with the info about the side dish shop?
They will probably find out that her Dad took the fall for Daechi before they can go anywhere or do anything.
