Jaybird17, do you know the name of the musical piece that plays near the start of Episode 10, when Tian is getting ready to leave the hut where he has been living? It's the music that plays as Tian sticks the post-it notes up, hangs the new planter, nails the loose step, and then walks away and takes a selfie with the hut in the background?

Was it in the ATOTS playlist when you were looking at it? I think that's the only place I actually looked for it. But regardless, can we appreciate how ATOTS has over 100 separate pieces of music!

Thanks, Jaybird17. Either I missed it (wouldn't be the first time :-) or they added it more recently (because I thought I did a "search" on Spotify after I learned the name of the song and came up with nothing.)

For those of you looking for more of the songs from 100 Stars that Vent Pire may not have been able to include…
Another very short musical piece that I could not find in the Spotify list (maybe I missed it?), but that I really loved in the series was this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKlLbZ8KcWo
This was the background music that played when Tian was drinking coffee on the morning he was to leave for the airport. (He put a second coffee cup on the table, even though PhuPha was not there.)

For anyone eager to see something fresh from our two lead actors, they star in an upcoming music video by Thai…
Thank you for posting that. I wasn't going to watch it, but I'm so glad I did--it was surprisingly good. (Though I giggled at seeing Earth trying to look like a young college student, sorry.) I'm looking forward to Part 2.

His role in Lovely Writer isn't huge, but he is really good, isn't he? I barely remember him from Why R U. In Lovely Writer, I kind of wish he were playing the part of Mhok (Saymork). Poppy conveys a lot of feeling with his body, face, and eyes, perfect for the character of Mhok. Just my opinion. ***UPDATE*** Now that Lovely Writer is over, I'm glad he did not play Mhok. Turns out, the brother (Jab) had a bigger and more nuanced role than Mhok, I think it suite Poppy fine.

which scene is it?And I'm glad Mix is gaining popularity. he deserves it :)
I watched it several times. Wow. And I appreciate that the Director and most of the crew did not panic.

I mean, Gene definitely closed his eyes and would have let Aoey kiss him if not hand-blocked by Nubsib ;)
Yeah, I guess you could make a case for that. Honestly, I just re-watched that bar scene, and it wasn't the strongest scene for me, in terms of Up's script/dialog. (Bruce, however, had very purposeful dialog and really enjoy watching him.)

I think it probably was a combination of exhaustion, cold weather, and maybe being hungry and thirsty, even.
On Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri Apr 27, 2021
Has Earth ever had a female love interest, in any of the shows he's been in? If not, I would really like to see his performance as a leading man opposite a woman. (I'm assuming he would be open to that, since I think mostly he's just done Y series.)

And TBH, that baffled me. I didn't think Aoey said or did anything really hypnotic or seductive, but yeah, Gene was just drawn in and would have totally let Aoey kiss him.
Kind of disappointing that Gene is clearly into Nubsib, yet there he is letting himself be seduced by Aoey.

Oh, real life! So that went viral in Thailand?!! :-) I thought you meant he was popular because of his amazing acting in the series, hehe. (BTW, I think the fainting was while they were filming episode 9.)

The acting in Episode 2 is fine, but the living room GSD/SY scene shows clear non-consent, IMO. Upon re-watching,…
I appreciate your thoughtful explanation. I'm not saying the scene is rapey per se--there was no rape--but I'm saying it crossed a line for me, in terms of non-consent. I realize that for many people, the experience was different.

I think there are other ways that scene could have been played so that GSD was not dragging SY into the house, throwing him on the couch, and repeatedly silencing him. (And though I understand why he silenced SY, I also realize that SY did not understand.)

The scene was improvised, and I think the director and actors should have set better boundaries as to how to play the scene so it steered clear of non-consent territory.

It such a pity if your point of view with this scene only like that, let me share this when Sam (shide) talking…
Okay, I watched it. I'm curious as to why it was posted. Were there objections, like mine? Controversy? Or was it just that someone asked about how they prepped for the scene, whatever?

So....Sam says basically "GSD knows SY really still loves him...he is not really forcing him/using force on him". Fine, the actor is telling us how the scene was *intended* to be understood, how *he* understood the scene. That does not mean that that expectation was realized.

GSD's behavior was so unstable in this scene, it was totally believable to me when SY said, "You're obviously drunk." (Even Sam seems to waffle on whether or not GSD is drunk. At first the scene was supposed to be "drunk but cute/sweet". Later he says "SY thinks he's drunk", which implies that maybe SY is wrong.)

Also, when GSD drags SY into the condo and throws him--throws him--onto the couch, that does not say "rational and ready for a discussion" to me. It does not scream "I'm in control of my actions and you're perfectly safe with me". (I'm just glad Yu was not injured by that throw. )

It is such a pity that you don't understand why some viewers might find GSD's behavior objectionable. IRL, it would not be so romantic as it appears in this show.

The acting in Episode 2 is fine, but the living room GSD/SY scene shows clear non-consent, IMO. Upon re-watching,…
Funny, I'm a lot older than many BL viewers and I understand that there are situations--though they are very rare, let me underscore that--where the line between consent and non-consent gets blurred.

But I actually rewatched the first few eps to see if I had simply missed some important context that would have made me see that living room scene differently.

Nope.

And there was at least one instance of GSD putting his hand over SY's mouth where I thought the character looked scared, like "What the @#?!"

I understand GSD wanted to keep his promise to SY's father not to say anything during the agreed-upon period, so he wanted to stop SY from asking anything further. But his *physically* preventing SY from talking came over as yet another display of dominance, one that crossed the line (for me) and caused discomfort for SY. Had he simply said "Please don't ask me any more, just know that I've missed you every day these past 5 years and I want to be with you", and then waited for SY's response, maybe I would not have found this scene so problematic.

Strange, GSD is so drunk he can't keep himself from accosting SY in this scene, yet he has enough presence of mind not to break his promise to the father. Insert eyeroll emoji here.

See my comments below on eps 15-16.
So basically, after watching episode 15, everything I predicted was wrong, hehe. (Namely, that Numwan would live because Jade loved her and would save her from being killed, but in the process, Jade himself would die.)

Episode 16 was pretty intense from the moment it started until the climax. This show is very good when it comes to the ghosts and supernatural elements. The aftermath for me was kind of meh, but suitable for the genre and the teen-age audience, I guess.

YT behind-the-scenes video for eps 15-16: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFxfIO9hSSs

Every episode, I am reminded how much I dislike Jeen's hair color. Sorry. Also on a shallow note, I thought shirtless Jade (not the demon inside him, though) was quite hunky.

I was a bit disappointed when Jade was so docile at the end, and so kind to his mother. I was waiting for him to show us that he still had a bit of evil in him. Or something. Doesn’t he still have repressed anger at his mother due to his traumatic childhood? I wanted to see him vent that and for them to move on from there. Instead, it was like we don’t know what happened—he didn’t get a lobotomy, I realize, but the change was just odd, to me.

Maybe it was just a bad translation, but when the intrusion was discovered at work, did management really tell employees "oh, hey, while we iron this out, we need you all to sign a confidentiality agreement"? Because, when I saw the subtitle about the confidentiality agreement, I laughed outright. You sign the agreement when you join the company--not after a hack occurs. (At least, that's how it is at every company I know.)
