every mother wants better for her child .she was angry at first but towards the end of the episode she made peace…
I'm happy you felt that way. For me, it's an overused trope and I would rather see a more supportive relationship. The way I see it, she did not make peace. She was forced into a reality check by her daughter. She doesn't know the full story, yet she was forcing certain decisions on her daughter because she was embarrassed - that's not wanting better for the child. To each their own, like I said I'm glad you could see it with a more optimistic lens. I'm rather interested in seeing how their relationship grows in the future.
Here comes another toxic, overbearing and entitled mother who thinks their child has to live for them to achieve all their dreams. So mad at her tantrums and annoying drama. Why don't they get rid of this trope!!
I took it that LWY was able to move on from him, they meet again and were able to smile casually at each other…
Oh, great. That's what I wanted it to be but you can never be sure, especially with translations that have not been very good. I was wondering if I missed something. Thank you! :D
Okay, at this point I'm so invested in all the couples that I really need some closure on the FL's BFF's relationship. What did that last look and smile even mean??? Please helpppp!!!!
Omg, the comments section here is so wild and toxic.
Love the work of both these actors, looking forward to their pairing. Was never a shipper in Start-up but I don't get why it matters. Different shows, different characters. Why so much fighting and abuse in this comments section!
Okay, so help me understand, TYH's only claim is her USP (sorry for the term but she is literally marketing herself) as a girlfriend that she has resources????? What kind of a ridiculous confession is even this?? Keeping aside the threat, lol. I can't stop laughing, omg!!!!!!
She didn't actually do anything wrong in the work place. She used resources and connections to her advantage but…
Actually, she is in a higher position. She could transfer departments without any basis and get regularised in 3 months because of her father, which means he is powerful enough to be connected with the higher management at the bank. She can easily get him fired, which she also said in today's episode. She did threaten him. She has been requesting unwelcome relationship even after he said no and has been making him uncomfortable in front of other co-workers. Sexual harassment is not just touch, hostile behaviour to victims also counts as SH.
But this is very legal and I agree more with your argument. As long as she didn't cause trouble, I'm rather happy to see her go. Good riddance!
I started this drama because the actor Vin Zhang plays in it and I could barely finish episode 1, I find the female…
Totally relate. It is the first show where I am fast-forwarding the main couple, omg. She's so annoying and has no backbone. I would never watch this if not for Vin!
Okay, I really like this show and am loving it, but now that we've crossed 23/32, I'm getting quite annoyed at…
Yes, you guys are right, which is why I am enjoying the show nonetheless. Still does not fulfill what was promised through the premise, lol - so the fact remains unchanged, lol
From the preview, I can see both FL & ML have some problems? Why is that? I don't think he accepted TYH's words…
Honestly, it was fair for her to be angry even then. They're a couple and his decision to accept that job directly impacted her considering their company policy and it was obvious who would be kicked out. He should've consulted her. Had she done the same thing in a role reversal, people would call her selfish again. Once he explained his purpose to her (a discussion that as I said should've taken place), she understood and supported him by coming up with the KPI condition or whatever helped them navigate the situation. So honestly, I don't think anyone can judge her for this past action also.
Even if we look at the latest situation, the ML chose to work through his trauma by overworking himself (and achieving new deals) while it was the FL who sacrificed her work to take care of her MIL. So conveniently people have been ignoring her sacrifices to say it is always the ML who sacrifices in this relationship. There is no point arguing with these people, best to ignore them. They choose to look at only those situations that help their argument.

I think everybody is entitled to their opinion so I won't be commenting on the second thing here. But as for misleading, the show literally starts with the FL telling a big fat no to the ex in front of a huge crowd and leaving with someone else - if that is not a clear rejection, god really knows what is. NOT ONCE did she lead him on or promise him the possibility of a future. Meeting your ex (who is a common friend through the other (best) friend's bf) is quite normal. Being civil with an ex does not mean you're leading them on. All she does is hide her relationship which is totally fair and 100% her choice who she reveals it to.

It's quite simple, actually. The guy is well-settled and well-established. He has connections. It is very very easy for him to find another job as compared to her - who had to struggle for a simple job (we can call this a lack of competence or whatever, at this point, it doesn't matter, all are facts). It makes logical sense for him to quit than her, especially when they've established that both of them want to work. It's not about gender, it's about the couple's understanding.
It's a shame that everyone on this page is making it about gender. Neither of them needs to "put up with anyone" per se. When the FL was doing anything with the SML (as lame as attending an event with common college friends), you called her all sorts of names on this page itself. Now when ML is doing that, you want the FL to "put up with it a little longer"? lol, this comments section has been very successful in making me laugh!
Okay, I really like this show and am loving it, but now that we've crossed 23/32, I'm getting quite annoyed at the fact that there is still no marriage. I came here for the trope (guilty pleasure) and while I like what I'm getting, I do not enjoy being led on with a false synopsis and also a somewhat trap set in the show's beginning itself. I'm so so annoyed!!!!
I quite like the premise, and excited to see how this family reconciles and learns to grow with one another. Very happy to see Jin Hee and Min Ho on screen once again. A little annoyed at yet another murder angle, at this point, it is getting too repetitive. Looking forward to this one! :D
I think the point of this drama isn't to take sides (daughter/mom vs dad) but show that there are several sides…
"If her mother wants to have a conversation with her father, it is not up to her to go running and stopping her mom" - I don't think that's why she intervened. She saw her mother tell the guy to leave her, he didn't let go and so she was going to "save" her mother. The situation looked abusive to outsiders, also why a total third party also interpreted it the same way and thought of helping.
But yes, I do agree with a lot of things you said.
