I have watched all of the seasons but I just can't get over Tenerife, Spain. That was so so organic which made it such a joy to watch. The customers enjoyed, forming bonds and we also saw the staff enjoying the place.
I think even Mexico was done well, not taking away from it. But this time, it feels like I'm watching another show altogether. I'm enjoying the staff interaction but we're not seeing that fun family time over a new cuisine kinda thing or just the staff enjoying the place, now that we're halfway into the show. Somehow this seems way too commercialised and that is really making it difficult for me to enjoy and also it is making me compare it to previous seasons, unfortunately! :(
Super nice to see them back at it though. Some of the humour is still there. Woo-shik (and even Min-si) is really pulling the load on that one! :)

I'm actually someone who does not enjoy romance dramas a lot. I need a little more to the story in terms of mystery/suspense/business/friendship or just anything that would not make it just plain old romance. But these days, the South Korean entertainment scene has changed so much that there aren't really many plain old good romance dramas that this feels like such a fresh breath of air and after the first two episodes, I'm very excited to see how it turns out! :D
The most precious moment of this show will be the forgiveness card in his hand towards the end of the extra episode. Oh my heart, so many feels in such a small gesture! What brilliant direction on that extra episode. *crying in a corner*

True true, ethically and morally all of what you say is true and makes sense but business isn't always ethical and being unethical isn't necessarily wrong. I really don't think the idea to invest in Xingchen was honest anyways (from watching the show and only partly and slowly reading the novel translation). Plus, so much here is for the drama and a better and more immersive viewer experience, so I mean, what can really one say

But a businessman is free to confide in whoever he wants. That's normal business practice, isn't it? Han Hai's CEO must've some skills or whatever that makes HT trust him. So many CEOs are removed from their position without any knowledge. She's not even the largest shareholder. Why is HT obliged to discuss his ideas with her from a business standpoint? Effective communication between partners isn't a must, right? People are always making moves behind each other, that's business strategy. Isn't it a shortfall on JX's part to not have that foresight? Tbh, there are not many logical reasons for HT's investment in the first place so she should've been thinking far ahead... Think about it, if he had done the same to ZD nobody would have complained. It's a business move.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but "supposed to get married" could mean a lot of things. One year later or ten. Even in the conversation with her mother, JX makes it clear that marriage is NOT the priority, it is the apartment and that marriage is just a formality that will eventually follow (but when - nobody comments).
Besides the WQZ part, one big fault with SYC is that he did not communicate at all. He did not communicate how he really feels, he did not communicate that he felt left out, he did not communicate that he wants to get married sooner than later (instead pops up the question stupidly when the poor woman is trying to get back on her feet after losing her only source of income for whatever reasons). He does not even discuss his problems with her or want to know hers. So I don't really know how honest he was throughout that I give him credit for being honest during a break-up. He has been ANYTHING but honest, lol
