OMG!! I first thought why she forgave her sister and ex husband.they deserve it.And then think about it over and…
Yes it's one of the few novels and dramas where the focus is on herself and those she cares about rather than revenge focused. Her grandma's influence early on to tell her to live for the greater things in life and not be confined to be just like a woman of those times. Quite unlike DM her sister that basically ended up just per the woman of those days.
I know some people have commented that for a rebirth piece, FL doesnt seem to be doing a lot to change things or should have done more to change things. But dramas that do this genre not many are executed like the Double. Whereas in this piece, little subtle changes that trigger other things are quite realistic in nature and not everything can be changed for sure and once different decisions are made, there will be different unexpected consequences so this drama is showing that quite nicely. Hopefully it sticks throughout and ends well... I will be very sad if it ends badly cos the novel was quite a good piece of work!
I suspect it is a sign to show things are changing and so the ending (i.e their past life one) might be changed too in this life... The novel didnt have this (unless i remembered wrongly). they keep hinting that things will change in this life if they do enough to make it different. And so far, things are changing as it is.
he kept trying to make things difficult for her but he was also stopped by his side kick a lot.. and everything he "threw at her" and them didnt work out.. He was constantly outwitted! :P
Did they manage to get married & have a HE in the novel please?
The novel was great.. they had a great married life.. a lot of the novel was about them being together.. many spicy scenes. The ending itself was nothing special because they were already together but lucky they didnt get torn apart again. But I don;t know how the drama will end up though... they already changed quite a bit of the drama from the novel..
Episode 17 another gem... and its beginning the ML and father in law's good relationship hahahha... in the novel .. they were practically pals.. hopefully in the drama too! :)
In the novel, they didn't get married right away once DM switched places with DZ. Also, the switch wasn't as wholesome…
Oh right he went to get something for her or something.. maybe they used this in the drama.. but so far ... episode 17 shows he is trying to get into his father in law's good books and the novel has them both very close ... lets hope it keeps up!

Yes that I remember but did they stop the actual wedding day with stuff happening or a delay? And yes they took a while to actually grow and trust in the novel too.. he was so sweet and waited until she was comfortable... swoon!
Based on the trailer Hmm.. they placed difficulties before the marriage ceremony... was this in the novel? I don't recall that being the case..... anyone else remember?
Why does Song Mo's father treat him so harshly and doesn't even care about him at all? Even when he was a child…
In short, he was jealous of his wife's brother whom his son greatly admired. Additionally, his wife was "superior" to him. There is also a plot twist with regards to his wife, his son and his second son. But all in all, he was a baddie in the novel (he keeps trying to cause problems during their marriage but they come out on top all the time) but how it pans out in the drama... we shall see
Nope. The good thing is the second and third male leads are kinda close to Song Mo and they even help each other…
This is one of the attractions of the drama.. like Shen Li.. i personally cannot take the too many confusing love lines and everyone loves me approach... its just too much for me. So I am loving this one (and loved shen li also)
Well to be honest the novel ended on a good note but not the traditional type of happy ending because they already…
The bad writing and changes we wont be able to know until it plays out.. hahhah this one potentially could also go bad,.. they could write some stupid war he goes into and doesnt come back (THE HORROR!)
Yes indeed. But I wonder if they will keep to the novel for their married life... let's watch on! :)
Dou Ming isnt a very nice character in the novel, She is the typical step sister that is jealous of her elder sister. She ends up being upset with her husband because our FL ends up so happily married and cherished by her husband and they continue to be the "power couple" in the capital. She keeps comparing her husband with the ML who is loved by the emperor and doing well in his position whilst Wei is weak and does not have a high court position. Basically Wei turns out exactly what FL warns her about in the drama. In the novel also, Wei's mother is alive and his sister and mother both dislike Dou Ming.
i like this drama - but im not completely impressed with how she is dealing with things she is aware would kinda…
This one is tricky. She doesnt know enough about him and has no real access to him per se and the details surrounding his mother's demise (at least in the novel... its very much later that they discover the mystery surrounding his mother and his brother (hint hint)) and if they will introduce another character per the novel. The drama.. is already different so I am not sure how it will play out but even if she knew the future, she couldnt stop it. What killed his mother, she has no means to stop even if she told him and that will destroy a major plot twist later. But what she has done is by being with him and being there for him, she stopped him from being destroyed by the pain, loss and betrayal and that is the change in life from the rebirth.
