Ray and Sand seem to be from another planet, since they are decent people despite their flaws, especially Ray isn't as problematic as I thought at the beginning.
Top ... ugh. Such an arrogant attitude that is everything but sexy. Is he at least smart? Nope, since he got played by Boston so easily. Why even? Because he learned Mew may not be that innocent? So then you go ahead and sleep with Boston? For what? Revenge? If he is the "top tier" how Boston called him, why give in so easily? He is weak, boring and the relationship with Mew is so cheesy and childish. Boston ... well. Neo plays the hell out of that character, but I just want to slap him in the face. Hard. So annoying! So he is into Top? Why? Does he really like him, or does he only want to get the top guy? Is the sex even good? I'm serious here. For a top guy, Top was very passive in car scene. Is Top even topping? Nick ... sorry, Nick fans, but he is creepy like hell. Who puts a bug in the car of a guy he sleeps with since ... I don't know ... I guess some weeks have passed, maybe only days. This is some serious stalker shit. Mew ... such a boring guy. Even if it turns out he is manipulative, he will still be one of the most boring characters I can think of. I fall asleep when he is in a scene. What's his deal anyway?
This is something I've already written for The Eclipse but I can repeat it here. FirstKhao are capable of acting…
They are just really good actors. I loved First with Mix in Moonlight Chicken, even though First and Khaotung were endgame. I would watch both happily with different partners. So it's not only their chemistry. They are just really committed and intense actors. In Moonlight Chicken I felt like Mix was stepping up his game immensely in those scenes with First. When you pair First with a great actor like Khaotung, that's the result. Not a fan of OhmNanon, but I felt it was similar with those two. Both good actors who became even better when acting together.
I know Mew couple is supposed to be the "main" one kinda deal but somehow I catch myself not paying any attention/…
Not a fan of The Eclipse, honestly. The series tried to look smarter than it was. The tension between First and Khao was great, especially Khao's character was very exciting to watch, but at the end everything became dumb and cheesy. The plot was a failure.
They are the only couple I can think of that has great buddy chemistry, but also sensual lover's chemistry. First…
Your last paragraph: yes, yes and yes! :P
The top/bottom thing: I enjoy it the most when it isn't clear who is who. This is not only about sexual positions. A typical top is dominant, stronger, taller, more powerful, good-looking, leading in the relationship etc. A typical bottom is shy, less experienced, cute, weak, smaller etc.
Not only viewers are obsessed with it. In some series, they feel the need to clarify it or educate people, which I don't like. They did that in Bad Buddy, where they made it look like Nanon/Pran was the top. No, thank you, I didn't ask.
Regarding FirstKhao: First is not a typical top. He is tall and handsome, but not that strong, physically and emotionally. He is very sensitive and vulnerable in the roles he plays. And Khaotung is a power bottom, I would say. He doesn't strike me as the typical top either, though when he is paired with First he is emotionally more in control. They both meet somewhere in the middle. That's great.
Why am i unable to move on from that whole last sequence of first-khao. I wasn't much aware of the series at first…
They are the only couple I can think of that has great buddy chemistry, but also sensual lover's chemistry. First has chemistry with everyone, and Khaotung is really having fun playing seductive characters. Btw: I loved it how First got above Khaotung on that couch, that was sexy like hell, and later on Khaotung climbing First ... I'm also glad that the bottom/top question isn't addressed, and they leave it for the viewer's imagination.
I’m conflicted about this series. It is not bad but : - it painfully lacks experienced acting, especially when…
The purpose ... I think this is just a story of young queer people from different backgrounds and their struggle with love and life. Only Ray is loaded if I'm not mistaken, Sand is poor, the others are at least not crazy rich, Nick works in that shabby phone fixing place which his family owns. About your last paragraph: I'm lost. No idea what you want to say. This series isn't that dark. After all, most of them are just some college kids. No drugs, rape or prostitution involved at this point. No idea what we will see in the future. They make it look more hardcore than it is. Sand was not selling drugs, only his plum wine, he is no hooker either.
I think it's mostly the acting and how lively and intense they portray their characters. Imagine FirstKhao playing…
I think there is more about Top and Mew than that. Mew seems to be manipulative, Top seems to have some issues. Also, they are essential for the plot, since Ray is into Mew and Boston wants Top. It's all connected. What happens next wouldn't happen without them. So they are the cause of the whole drama that's ahead of us.
Well FirstKhao broke the whole show, again. But i don't think it is just because their extreme chemistry, also…
I think it's mostly the acting and how lively and intense they portray their characters. Imagine FirstKhao playing ForceBook role, it would be a completely different vibe. They could pull if off much better, sorry ForceBook fans.
It's not just you, but it's also just not me. I like their character dynamic and dialogue, but I don't feel any…
Lol, the smoking scene made me shake my head. How must that taste? But I like their chemistry. They are the only ones I can think of who are good friends and have great buddy chemistry, but also some sensual lovers chemistry. They are not holding back. Every kiss and sex scene I have witnessed in those 2 episodes was too sloppy, messy and just a bit weird. I think it's the style.
YES please, let's get crying Boston! I hate him so much, he totelly deserves to cry
The Boston-Nick thing - I agree with you. But Boston tried to seduce Top when he knew there is something going on between him and Mew. You don't do that to your friend. You don't mess with his relationship or potential relationship. If he had been honest and straightforward, he would not be sneaky and acting behind Mew's back. His shocked face in the shower and how he had to hide said it all. He was up to no good. In general, this friend group is not caring much for each other. Looking at previews and trailers, Boston tries to manipulate Mew and Top by telling Top there is something between Mew and Ray. He is after Top, and he is playing dirty games.
I didn't watch all the Firts and Khao dramas, only Moonlight chicken and this kiss really felt awkward and I love…
Hmmm .... I have seen people complain about FirstKhao being together too often. What did I miss? They were only in The Eclipse. Everything else? In Moonlight Chicken they weren't a couple. First was with Mix.
The kiss was too fast and too messy, but it was supposed to be like that, I assume. In Our Sky they kissed for a while and it was beautiful.
I haven't seen a slow and emotional kissing or love scene in this series yet. Boston is still f*cking rabbit style.
Sand and Ray are my favorite couple!! Honestly every couple is giving except Mew and Top.. I'm sorry 😭 They…
Not a fan of ForceBook story either, but the bigger problem is the acting. Compare those two to First, Khao and Neo. In the last episode First did 90% of his acting just with his eyes, Khao is a different type of actor, he uses more his whole body, but he is such a vibe, 100% into it, Neo also has a great eye game, and overall does such a good job. Now look at Force and Book, having no real expression on their faces, no real body language, nothing. Like some rookie actors who are just cast for their good looks and are reciting their lines without much creativity. Also, Force being the "top tier" (whatever that means) is funny to me. I guess he is attractive, I can't really tell. Someone with zero charisma is never attractive to me. Neo would rock that role much better, he has the attitude. No hate, just my opinion.

Ep 2 took my by surprise.

They are only one or two hours faster, which is still great.
