100% agree. The Pisaeng character doesn't have much depth or brains. We know nothing about him, and people are gushing over his pure love for Kawi. A love that sometimes felt a bit too obsessive. They tried hard to portray him as the perfect boyfriend, too hard. They did a better job with developing Pear and Kawi.

This is not a question about perspective, I would say it's a question about morals and emotional intelligence.

I see why others have a certain impression of the characters. I understand how the writers wanted to portray them, what their intention was. But there is another aspect, another way of "interpretation" if you want to call it that, but apparently most people aren't able to see it. They don't have to agree with me, I'm baffled by their blindness.

Personally, I now understand why so many people end up in toxic relationships, and why so many have such a childish idea of love.

They don't have enough content to fill an episode. It started with ep 9 where they showed us the same scenes of them dating and eating sushi like we have already seen it in ep 8. They continued doing that in ep 10 and 11 where we saw again the love scene plus some extra scenes. We got flashbacks and a montage of them being cute. The flow of the story is disrupted. They go back and forth in the present with those recycled scenes, back and forth to the near future, the distant future, and then with the post credit scenes they jump around again. It's not so terrible that you can't follow the story, but I'm questioning the artistic choice regarding the editing and storytelling.
There are also some plots they dragged out too much like Pear's family story and Kawi being so insecure about his first time. Now they go back to the amusement park date (which was horrible the first time, let's be honest), and we will get some new and old scenes again, back in the past or present. Who knows at this point?
Pisaeng time travelling is a nice idea, because it seems to give some closure to the whole story. But his reason for doing so is lazy and repetitive. We already had the dying-father-plot. So now we are here again?

No offense, but I wonder why people even have sex in the first place when they are so terrified by it. I'm not that young anymore, but lately I learned how many people are traumatized by their sexual experiences. I had no idea.

Makes you think about sex in general. If it's such a beautiful experience, why everyone is so terrified to begin with? I'm dead serious here: Imagine everyone is telling you to like it, because it's the best thing ever, but ... well ...
Not to mention that many women suffer from endometriosis, which causes them pain when having sex. You would never believe how many don't talk about that with their partner, and just endure the pain.
Shocking.
Don't get me started on anal sex, because I have no idea how they manage to do that. It's such a pain in the ass (pun intended).

I'm not even a fan of cute BL, I just feel they are trying to please the viewers a bit too much as it gets more and more explicit, and they know that brings in the money. I'm not complaining, because I will watch First and Khaotung religiously, but I don't know if I would go there as an GMMTV actor. On the other hand, those actors are pretty young, and people in their 20s like to try out new things, and do edgy roles. It can be seen as an acting challenge. I just wonder if this is a trend or not. Where will it end? What comes after KinnPorsche? Pornography?
I hope there is a good story, then I will love it for sure. But neither KinnPorsche, Love in The Air nor TharnType had a decent story. So I wonder why it should be different this time?

Oh, I enjoy NC scenes. I just wonder why they are drifting so much towards the erotic genre lately. At this point, they are really part of the homoerotic industry. It's not cute BL series anymore. I mean ... what we saw in the trailer was pretty explicit, and I assume there is much, much more in the series. Or is the trailer just misleading?

I thought First and Khaotung would have a minor role in this. Glad that's not the case.
But aren't they overdoing it a bit with the NC scenes?

Sooner or later every GMMTV actor has to do heavy erotic scenes. Honestly, this trailer looked like a preview for an erotic movie. They are just levelling up and up and up ... hmmmmm.

I think it's the character, honestly. He was supposed to be very nervous and awkward. But otherwise you're right. If you think, that he was nervous and insecure because it's his first time with a guy, everything makes perfectly sense. But they didn't dare to go for that plot, instead they made it almost look like Kawi is asexual, and in that case Max advice was bad, and the issue wasn't handled well. But otherwise the fandom would have said, Kawi is not gay apparently, why being with a guy then? I think whatever they did, they could only lose with that kind of plot. It had been better they just avoided it from the beginning, honestly. After all their problems cleared up, just make them take the next step with Kawi being cute and a bit awkward like always, but not hesitant, insecure or asexual (?).
Gawin as Pisaeng really grow on me, and I think in the last episode he did a great job in every scene, but the character still remains questionable to me, and now I seriously think he is just dense. If not for Kawi he would be in the closet still 10 years later, being so in love with just that one guy for a decade, not knowing how this is affecting Kawi's relationship with Pear, and in the last episode he apparently had no clue that Kawi struggled with their first time. I mean, if you try to not be alone with your boyfriend like Kawi did, block kisses, make comments about being naked etc. - wasn't it obvious what was going on? And since Pisaeng seems to think that Kawi is hetero (he said in an earlier episode maybe it's better he just dates a girl), why not getting a clue?
I think they wanted to avoid the drama, and I call that a missed opportunity. But on the other hand, Kawi was telling Pisaeng many times how serious he is about this relationship, so the best thing Pisaeng could do at this point was giving him time and just wait. He wasn't pressuring him at all, and didn't get mad, even though Kawi was a pain in the ass during their date. Imagine him getting angry! Would have been horrible, as if he couldn't wait to jump him and that's all he wants. So I think they did overall an okay job with the episode. Also, Kawi talking about this with Pisaeng directly wasn't an option, because ... well, what was Pisaeng supposed to say? "I understand, and I will wait and not pressure you" - he did that anyway. What else? Breaking up? Any talk would have caused more problems.
About the lack of passion or attraction or whatever: I have high hopes for the next episode, where they are cuddly and cute. We will see. I was mad at this series pretty often, but then they did something in the next episode which calmed my anger, lol. So I will wait. This time I'm not even mad. It was fun, it was cute, I got butterflies in my stomach, and they talked about issues they normally don't talk about in BL. Maybe we will even get the passionate kiss we are all waiting for.

That's such a complicated topic ...
When Max called Kawi a virgin ... Was his relationship with Pear sexless too? I don't think so. Max doesn't know the future, of course. But they made it look like Kawi was hesitant, because it's his first time with a guy. He struggled through the whole series with his feelings and his sexuality. I think they were on purpose a bit vague about the whole problem to not make it too controversial.
I'm just glad they are addressing those issues in some way or another, and they don't brush over them like they normally do.
About asexuals: I honestly don't want to go there. There are many different types, even people with high sexual interest, they just don't want to do it with another person. It doesn't mean that you have zero interest in sexual activity (masturbation) or erotic stimulation. So a naked person can make you nervous for many different reasons. Doesn't mean you want to have sex with them.

The talk was okay, but they could have made Max say something like "If you don't like it, then that's how it is." The thing with the roller coaster ... Pisaeng said, how can you know that you don't like it, when you don't even try it - they were going for that kind of argument.
I don't really agree, but I'm not mad at them.
But judging from the preview for next episode, Kawi tried it, and he likes it. Happy End!

I won't watch this series, but I will watch every promo or game show or interview or whatever they are doing, because I love those two to the moon and back, but as the chaotic friends-duo they are, and not as a BL couple.

That was a hard episode for him. He had to be happy, sad, flirtatious, confused, naughty, funny.

Krist is not a passionate kisser. It's obvious that those scenes aren't his favorite, but he did well. I just thought it took a bit too long until their lips finally touched. But otherwise ...

I think it was the love scene, lol.

I always said his acting is inconsistent, and people were coming at me. It's inconsistent, because sometimes it's extremely good, and sometimes it's just mediocre. If it wouldn't be so good in some scenes, it wouldn't feel inconsistent.
But I think he is getting better and better. I liked him a lot in this episode, and I thought his scenes were really hard to act out, not only the emotional scenes. He was always great in those. But how to act towards your new stubborn boyfriend who is a mood killer ... I felt that he showed us a lot of different sides of the Pisaeng character in this episode.

After seeing the preview for ep 11 I have hope this will be the first ever BL couple that behaves like a couple.
