Never ever in hundred million years I expected they would address the issue that Kawi is unsure about the sexual stuff. πππππππππ
Looks like they are finally waking up ... lots of promo ... I can't keep up with everything that's happening. I expected that kind of promo somewhere around ep 6, but better late than never, I guess.
Not gonna lie, I'm more curious than excited about tomorrow's episode. I wonder how they will pull off the romantic scenes. Actors and director are capable of delivering something great, but they have to hold back because of the genre. They know they must deliver cute scenes, and the overall idea of so-called "cute scenes" seems to be when Kawi plays hard to get, while Pisaeng flirts with him. More failed attempts of Pisaeng kissing Kawi, needless bickering, exaggerated shyness and awkwardness - that's what I expect for tomorrow's episode.
I think Joong hadn't had that 'cancelation' moment yet. this is the first time I've heard about him being homophobic?
Whatever those actors said, I think it's no big deal. But I remember when some guys made a rape joke in SafeHouse where First was involved, and I was deeply disgusted by that. If you bully others, make fun of them or lie on purpose to fool your fans - that's something I despise. Them being sincere about their sexuality, well ... I can understand when some actors get annoyed when constantly asked if they are gay or not. No idea why fans even care about that. If he is hetero, do they think they can date him? Really? If he is gay, how does it impact their life? I feel like real gay couples aren't even shipped that hard like some fictional couples.

When asked if he is gay, he said in Turkish "he is a real man" implying gay men aren't "real" men. I assume this was a translation issue to begin with, and people are just exaggerating, but this is the official story that's going around. It happened years ago and was a pretty big scandal, because even I heard about it, and I don't follow those actors. When Krist was asked the same question again (and again) he answered "absolutely no" and added lots of angry emojis. It's a very similar scandal, but people reacted very differently.
I guess Krist should learn a thing or two from Joong. Wasn't he accused of being homophobic? Nobody expected him to return to BL, and here he is, doing rather typical, easy-watch BLs without depth that don't require much of an acting effort either, but are pretty popular and bring big numbers and big money. But somehow nobody is hating on him?
Nah ... People may have different interpretation of the same story, but that's the fun about it. Like how you interpret a story tells you a lot about yourself, not only about the writers. It wouldn't be fun if anyone has the same opinion. Even some haters have occasionally good points. So a story can even grow, become bigger and more complex, because you can see things in it, others can't, and you share those opinions. Also, you sometimes discover things the writer didn't think about. Since I'm a writer myself, I know that well. I'm always surprised how people perceive my own stories. I can tell you as much, they never look at them like I do, lol. I write something emotional and touching, they get aggressive. I write something cute and pointless, they think it's soo emotional and great π Honestly, I'm so used to "haters" ...
Kawi's attraction to Pear ... In one of his narrations, he once said, that the world should be a bit nicer, so…
Let's agree to disagree. I think he had no real feelings for her when he went back in time, just a crush etc. But since we saw the future, I look at it differently. Kawi's love for Pisaeng is stronger for sure, but I just felt that Pear is very dear to Kawi, a similar love maybe Pisaeng had for her, why otherwise would he marry her in the first timeline? And in the last episode we could see how deeply Kawi feels for her, even though some people complained about him caring too much for Pear. I think that makes Kawi's character 100 times more likable, and also, like I said, it helps to understand that toxic love triangle a bit better, which at the beginning seemed to me so unnecessary. I complained a lot about how they should just move on for god's sake, but they didn't. How Pear cared for both, Pisaeng and Kawi, and asked Knot to shut his mouth, also showed how much those 3 love each other. I honestly think that makes this series complex and great. So just to think Kawi and Pisaeng = fated love, and every other feeling was just denial or delusion is a bit too easy.

At which episode are you? Because there is more "obsession" waiting for you regarding Pisaengs feelings for Kawi, lol. They overdid this running scene a bit, that may be true. Of course some attraction has to start somewhere. Honestly, I think since the kiss (you complained about Kawi being grossed out) he looked at Pisaeng a bit different. There is also Kawi's struggle with his sexuality. And if you see the future in ep 7, he is in denial for a very, very long time.

I think he loves her, but not as much as Pisaeng, and obviously it didn't work out with her. But since ep 7 Krist and Aye did a good job showing us love and chemistry. Especially in the last episode, I could feel how much Kawi cared for her. I felt strongly that the past (or future) where he was with her for years, changed him. That scene at the wedding was heartbreaking. I feel like BL fans just don't want to accept it as if this is some kind of blasphemy if he has real feelings for her. It didn't work out! So ... they had their chance. He is meant to be with Pisaeng, so no competition here in my eyes. The reality that those 3 people all love each other dearly is the reason for the toxic love triangle in the first place. Since ep 7 I complained about how they just couldn't get out of it. But now I get it ... or at least I can accept it. Pear has a very important role in all of this mess. In ep 9 we also saw how deep her friendship with Pisaeng is and how much she cares for him, at this stage much more than for Kawi who she didn't know that well and she didn't have strong feelings yet. She went to Pisaeng first to talk about it, and she also understood his struggles.
#ep5The kawi's "hidden attraction plot" towards pisaeng is such a clear pandering that it's laughable almost.Like…
Kawi's attraction to Pear ... In one of his narrations, he once said, that the world should be a bit nicer, so everyone could do better and didn't have it so hard. He was most likely attracted to her friendly behavior, her soft and radiating personality. But he was never with her in the first timeline. He was alone, no girlfriend, no money, of course he fantasized about how his life could have been if he had a chance with this girl. I don't think that means his feelings were that strong for her.
What you mean with leaving his bags and running up the stairs? He didn't do it to find his crush on the rooftop! He was stressed out since the relationship with Pisaeng was going downhill. Max put some common sense into him too. He didn't want to avoid Pisaeng any longer, so he listened to his love confession - AND REJECTED HIM. What hidden attraction? At this time he just wanted to keep the friendship and not be an a**hole. Thanks, Max!
And the kiss in the future ... Kawi was confused and shocked. I don't know why it's to be assumed that if someone gets kissed out of the blue by someone else he never thought of in any romantic way before, he has to enjoy the kiss, and if not, he is grossed out.
I do agree that Kawi should have been honest with Pear about his feelings for Pisaeng, but I am glad she seems…
He wanted to tell her. I thought we will get some ugly drama, since the date when he wanted to tell her was cancelled (not Kawi's fault). But nope. She obviously was hurt, but she took it well.
Ahhh Pisaeng looks so cute being drunk and clingy!! Actually, both of them are cute when clingy w matching some…
I loved how Krist was laughing. It looked so sincere and innocent, like he was getting out of character for a moment, because he couldn't help laughing at Gawin's cuteness.
IN P'WAA WE TRUST!
Krist has a great body, no wonder since he was a swimmer.
