Am I the only one who finds it a bit funny, how people are gushing over this series like it's so groundbreaking? Some even start to analyze the characters very deeply. At this point this series doesn't have much depth, the characters are rather cliché, but I'm hopeful we will learn more about them in the future, since there is lots of potential and the actors deliver.
Still, the reactions of some viewers remind me of a time when I was reading wattpad stories, and people became all philosophical and excited about some PWP fanfics, when in reality, they were only into it because of the sex ;P

I'm a bit confused, why you complain about First getting paired up with Khaotung again. GMMTV tend to create and promote their "couples", and those two are a couple now, same with ForceBook, OffGun, TayNew, PondPhuwin, GeminiForth, EarthMix and how they are all called. I'm just saying, it was to be expected, that those two together will be given some more work. It's not like GMMTV is doing that the first time.

Honestly, irl most gay relationships are heavily about sex. I lately heard an older gay guy talking about the LGBTQ+ community, saying that such different people forming a community never made any sense to him. Lesbians have nothing in common with gays, trans people are also completely different, and now they added the asexuals and - I quote - "there is nothing more far apart than a gay guy and an asexual" - LMAO.

I won't say that most gays are promiscuous, but that kind of fairy tale love they show us in BL series where at least one character is almost a bit prude is not real life.

I have seen some great gay porn, more sensual than everything they gave us in ep 1. I would even post a link, but that's not allowed, I assume.

Just saying. Don't know who compares the series with porn. It's only porn if we see everything. We haven't seen their private parts. Also, they don't do it for real on screen, they only pretend, and we all know it. But if they keep this up, it belongs in the category gay erotica for sure, not BL.

I don't really remember. I just know they never used lubrication, and having sex in the water, in a pool, yeah, I mean, water will dry out your skin and every other part that needs to be wet.
I'm not sure if Only Friends will be more realistic. I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to love scenes. I have seen it all at this point. I'm not gushing over those scenes, but I don't have any real complaints either, it is what it is.

If not for FirstKhao I wouldn't even watch this, honestly. Not because I like them so much, but they are pretty serious about their work, and I'm sure they will give 1000% in portraying their roles and make us feel for them. Even if the characters are a bit shallow, they will manage to give them enough depth with their committed acting.

Nothing against the rest of the cast. I'm not that smitten by ForceBook, but Neo and Mark are acting the hell out of their roles. They are all doing a good job, so this is worth watching. But with weaker actors, I wouldn't watch that kind of series.

Don't get me wrong, I look forward to this series.
But the first episode wasn't that great.

The TopMew story is too cliché, alpha male player goes for virgin. Yeah. Boston is a sl*t, in love with the alpha male, which I think he would be a good match with, but nope, the alpha male will get Mew, and love him like he never loved a guy before. Most likely, this love will put him through some suffering, and then he will be a changed man.

At this point, I only look forward to FirstKhao, though I think their characters are a bit too similar to Akk and Ayan from The Eclipse. Ayan was very alluring, cheeky, but inside he was broken. Akk was very cold and rational, but felt hard for Ayan. They seem to follow the same plot. I'm not hating it, but well ... let's see.

BostonNick is interesting, but I feel like their job in this series is mostly to provide us with NSFW scenes. I don't expect much depth regarding their love story, a sappy confession at the end maybe after all the mess. I don't know.

It's not bad at all, but the plot isn't mind-blowing and the character all feel a bit cliché.

That's what I think too.
But even if later feelings are involved, they most likely won't change the style. It fits the atmosphere.

Only GMMTV singer I listen to. The Eclipse OST was great. I really like his voice, and this song is pretty cool, not a cheesy ballad like normally.

Btw: It looks like part 1 of episode 1 will get 1M views in less than 24h. This series will be a big hit.
