I thought it might be about doctor but this lady is also suspicious
Yeah, it was an easy miss. I only remember seeing it once, and the subtitles only had it on screen for like 2 seconds. I was just letting you know so you can theorize :)
Btw, if the prosecutor’s mom is actually missing and was not killed, do you think she could be that pretty senior…
I agree 100%. They would have had interactions like Yi-Joo and her cooking teacher mom in Perfect Marriage Revenge. Even if neither knew, they would be drawn to each other in the show
I love the investigator character and he has a lot of funny scenes, but I am kinda getting tired of him going back and forth between smart, competant investigator and clumsy, incompetant spaz
They should have had an actual ending instead of leaving it open like that. Korean shows rarely get a second season in my experience and the writers usually wrap it up nicely. It would have been a better ending imo if VP Han actually had any form of punishment.
Another thought about the finale that imo was sloppy writing is Ji-Soo's excuse to their son on why he never met him. It's nice that she painted him in a mostly good light, but just how busy does he have to be to never even meet his son? You, as a mom, go on months long business trips so it's not like you aren't extremely busy yourself and are more able to give time to your kid
It's kinda annoying to me that they know VP is bad and know he has many overly loyal people working there yet they continue having strategy meetings at work. A lot of times in the common areas. If they do actually use a room, they leave the damn door open. Do they have no concept of secrecy? They also always have 1, maybe 2 of them working late alone. They KNOW he's killed people before, and for way less than conspiring against him. It's not like he doesn't know they are. Both MLs flat out told him they are coming after him
I'm teen and I still can't see SML i positive light. He acts more like a creep. Following her around all the time…
Exactly this. He was giving her those increasingly difficult tasks expecting her to just say something like "you're nuts" and quit. It showed at the start that he didn't treat the younger assistants any better really so even though he is ageist, at least at the start, he is just a mean boss in general. Once he realized just how good Lim Sun is, he immediately changed his tune and treats her respectfully and basically as an equal
Will the ML finally find out FL's secret this week? What do you guys think? I kind of want the confession scene…
It was a teaser, so who knows if it will actually happen, but the teaser makes it seem that he will find out not by confession, but by finding Mi-Jin when he goes to save Lim Sun
yes and no. if by dominating you mean getting in the way of the main couple development, it is not. the story…
He isn't a threat to them, but I don't like him just because a lot of his scenes are so boring. Like his office scenes, and there are a lot of them. The most recent one with the comments battle was funny, but usually any scene in his office is just boring filler imo.
Does Eun Ha know that the Hyun Woo she is looking for is the ML now, or has it not yet been revealed?
She doesn't know yet. Prosecutor Hyun Woo told her it isn't him, but he knows who is and that person is doing well. She decided that was enough for her
I'm about to start ep 8, but for a couple episodes I've been feeling that VP Hans puppy (he's too much of a wuss to call a dog) is going to switch sides. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it happens in ep 8-10. I also was not surprised in the slightest that VP An wasn't "A N."
This show is very good imo, but from ep1 they clearly pointed VP Han as the BBEG. The only twists this show has aren't even twists, it's just them finding more evidence that VP Han is a piece of shit.
One thing I am curious of though. From my understanding, which could be wrong, Jang isn't that common of a last name. So was Ho Woo actually adopted by Ji-Soo's dad? I thought it was clear that he wasn't, but they share a last name that isn't overly common. If they were both Kim or Lee, I would have no question about it, but it seems weird that they are "chosen" siblings, yet share a last name.
Also, Ho Woo and Yeon Ah need to just kiss or at least get together already FFS. This isn't a Romance by any sense of the word, but the unrealized tension between those 2 is insane at this point.
I thought this was a Korean adaptation of the US drama Numbers It wasn't didn't finish it
I didn't come into it thinking that, but watching it very much so gives me earlier season Suits vibes, just auditors instead of lawyers. #1 auditor Mentor hires someone he shouldn't, who happens to be basically a prodigy. Kind of them against the world etc
does her parents finally believe her later on that the 50-year-old is truly their daughter? I'm just at episode…
It's never really brought up again, at least yet, with her parents. She just avoids them during the day and is only ever home when the sun is down. They think she passed the civil servent test and is actually a civil servant and working as such
Why is everyone hating on the FL so much? She's actually the perfect fit for this drama. I started watching for…
The MIL is my only gripe as well. I don't have this drama on my must-watch list, or find it bingable, but it is entertaining and enjoyable enough for me to watch as they air.
The MIL though... she is so over the top and overdramatized that it makes the rest of the show not even look like a melo, and then she comes on the screen and BOOM! it's now a makjang
I was so excited for the Kiss but she kissed his Palm 😂😂 😂 I laughed so hard in that scene ....it was…
I loved her friends reaction to it too lol. And the fact that while she was wallowing under the covers, her friend was watching the hottest kiss scene in KTL and loudly narrating it to her
My expectation for upcoming episode Ji Hwan and Hyeon Hwon will develop bromance 😬 to save Eun Ha. The gang…
I can see that happening on the Thirsty Deer side, but Hyun Woo needs to drop his prejudices first, and judging from the teaser, he hasn't.
It's pretty annoying because imo he is the only character that hasn't had any growth at all. Everyone else that has any amount of screentime at all has changed at least one opinion or behavior, but he is still the exact same judgemental a-hole he was in ep 1

paraphrasing all of this
"I knew him first so give up" and "I knew you ever since you were a gangster and accept it, choose me"
"I loved Eun-Ha since before I even knew you existed, I can tell her about my past and trust that she knows that's not me anymore, unlike you. Bye B"
Kind of hard to say you knew him first when he flat out tells you he knew HER first
It's pretty annoying because imo he is the only character that hasn't had any growth at all. Everyone else that has any amount of screentime at all has changed at least one opinion or behavior, but he is still the exact same judgemental a-hole he was in ep 1
