The miscommunication in this is crazy. It's not just between the leads either. If either the male or female friend groups actually told each other anything, 90% of the issues wouldn't have even been an issue.

I know that she is immature, especially compared to the other 5 main characters, but the niece is the only one imo that actually makes anything known. Shi Yan is probably the 2nd most open person, but that is by a far margin. They should have cut a lot of the bs out of this show and made it 10-15 episodes shorter. I don't mind drama happening in shows, but in this one it's the exact same drama just repeating over and over again. It gets pretty damn annoying after about the 5th time the same exact misunderstanding happens, let alone the 50th

I really like how she went from little rat to little mouse. Jae Su was so against her in every way, yet he switched from one of his greatest insults as a gangster for a nickname to a cutesy nickname for her

Man Ho going "Someone caught COVID?!?" over the pregnancy test was hysterical

It's the same concept as chugging pedialite or gatorade prior to drinking. You don't get drunk as quick and your hangover is more managable because you are overly hydrated before you begin to dehydrate yourself

I also thought that was weird, and kinda justified it to myself that he was kinda like "I keep seeing this girl and every time she's in a dangerous situation due to stupidity, it's my duty as a public servant to protect her." Still weird, granted. Him telling her to call him if anything ever happens, even if she can't talk, he knows he can get to her and help her. It hasn't shown him actually using the app iirc to find her randomly, every time they actually did run into each other was happenstance. Except maybe the kid gangsters with the wrong cat thing.

But the 2ML thought (correctly) he saw something that day when his car recorded her biking and went full blown stalker mode on her. Slowly following her in his car until she noticed and called someone, so he sped off. Tailing her to the gaming place and stealing her keychain, staying up all night in front of her house, etc is way beyond just concern, it's full blown creepy stalker that should be in prison for it

The older directors at Shi Yan's job, even though his father and uncle say they are good people, really play off like they are receiving massive kickbacks or something with all these companies. They are so deadset against him and his friends choices while pushing these companies that they (the younger generation) have legitimate reservations about. I can't remember from my first watch, but I feel like it is going to come to light that they are shady scum, and very possibly at least part of the reason Shi Yan's family company had issues a few years back. If it doesn't, I wish it did, especially with how heavy this show goes into the finance world and business speak. I think they "saved" the company because it was their payday, not due to loyalty or friendship with his dad and uncle

I don't remember when they get together, but it is aroundish 20. More of a fight than an actual breakup imo and it is pretty short lived, only an ep or 2. During the fight, she hangs out with a guy, but it is more to make him jealous enough to apologize to her than an actual love triangle. She doesn't have any real interest in him. Both leads from start to finish like only each other, noone else has a chance. The show is pretty much 3 couples (1 main, 2 side) that are pretty obvious pairings and don't really have real triangles

Rewatching and up to ep 10... I forgot how much of an a-hole he is to her at the start. Like, to the point that I am surprised she was even still interested. I know once they get together he is a great bf, but damn if he isn't still horrible at the 25% mark of the show

The scene where they rescued Fatima from her "boyfriend" I let his accuracy slide because he wasn't trying to kill them, but now in episode 12, you expect me to believe that 2 SpecOps soldiers from 10ft away and 1 SpecOps sniper missed the main bad guy that many times? I know maybe 2 people from my military days where that would be believable, and neither of them were SpecOps lol

Actually, My Sweet Mobster also has trackers lol. Ji-Hwan and Eun-Ha have that couples GPS app, it's how they found him when he went to rescue Taek

edit.. MSM they both actually know about it. In this show, he did it secretly

Came back to admit I was wrong lol. They made it so obvious that I couldn't accept it, but last episode proved that he is at least a higher player in the conspiracy, if not the overall BBEG.

Having said that though. They did show that the white car was officially the 2ML. I guess that decided to use that as the red herring lol. Make us believe she was being obviously stalked by the killer when it was just the 2ML. Surprised they didn't leave that for a cliffhanger between 8 and 9 though. That would be a good come back next week type of cliffhanger

Just started watching this finally and I gotta say, Song Hye Kyo's jealous line about Kim Ji-Wons beauty made me laugh a little. I don't think I've ever seen a list of "South Korea's most beautiful celebrities" where they both aren't at or near the top lol

I don't think he was interested romantically in day version. I took it more as idols basically only have sychophants and haters around them, and her treating him like a normal human and helping with his anxiety made her like a mother/aunt figure to him. Once he finds out about the transformations, he is interested in the night version (or both really, since he knows they are both her)

I think they are playing him up to much with the ominous music and everything to be a red herring. I will honestly be surprised if he turns out to have anything to do with the murders, let alone being the actual serial killer

I could be wrong, but from what I understand:

- Taek used to be a drug user/pusher that Ji Hwan is giving a chance and helping to turn his
life around
- Taek disappeared and Ji Hwan assumed he reverted to his old ways.
- Ji Hwan discovers that Taek didn't revert and is in trouble.
- Kitty gang leader is Ji Hwans old gangmate and very much in the drug business
- Ji Hwan is fiercely loyal and protective of his subordinates, so he is doing everything
possible to rescue Taek
- The Thai lady is the cartel leader and Taek's ex-boss, who either was ratted out by Taek or assumed Taek ratted out, not sure tbh
- Kitty gang wanted her drugs, her stipulation for the deal was Taek
- Kitty gang kidnapped Taek to complete the deal

I really can't stand Hyun Woo at all. He is nothing but a self-rightous know-it-all asshole. I never skip or ff in shows but I think I'm about to make an exception for his scenes.

Dude is literally holding a grudge and stalking, defaming and slandering Ji Hwan for something that happened 10 years ago and basing it all on an assumption. He also has to be selectively believing the evidence he finds, because like his investigator said, his knowledge of Ji Hwan is encyclopedic. Yet he, as a prosecutor, can't figure out that Ji Hwan was the informant that basically brought down the gang back then? Never came up during his research? Highly doubt that lol

Saw it in a KODE episode as well, which I think might be where my confusion came from because one asked the other if their number started with a 0 inferring they were young. Now realizing that is a date code I get it lol
