Can anyone explain South Koreas ID numbering? They use it for humor a lot in shows and I'm curious what the joke is. Like in this episode it happens at around 34:10 but I don't get the joke
i'm exausted of the childhood friends who reunite as adults trope, this has it too it seems we can't never get…
Even more so because she thinks the 2ML is the childhood friend but falling for the ML over him anyways. That almost never happens in my experience, the fake childhood friend usually wins out until the truth is revealed where in this one the 2ML is already 2nd choice. It's so refreshing
The speculations when they are posting photos at the same location etc can make sense a lot of times. Doing no research into this one other than this article and the pictures it shows, this one is just absurd.

I swear, every time a popular drama where the leads have good chemistry (k)netizens can't differentiate between the show and reality. Some pairings get it worse than others, but IT'S THEIR JOB to sell that their characters are actually in love. Hae-In and Hyun-Woo are together, not Ji-Won and Soo-Hyun
rewatching it and I just realized the scene where he tells her he wants to be her solid land means he's so into her he remembers her drunken rambling from almost 20 years ago. that's pretty impressive lol
I want Mini to work for Seo Ji Hwan as a marketing expert or something to not only boost their company image but…
I've been watching too many CDrama vertical dramas on youtube recently and assumed she was going to frame her on stolen jewelry or something lol. When it was just an attempt to humiliate her I was actually surprised lmao. Too used to over the top melo stories I guess
FL's boss is trash. I understand people being upset with her being a YouTuber who promoted bad stuff, but she's…
He also, probably illegally, uploaded that video on her account so her reputation was already tarnished before the sponsor spot.
They said in the show that the creators are the producers as well and supposed to have appoval responisbilities on everything on their channel. The fact that he forced that sponsor spot and blamed her is just more fuel on the fire. He caused everything

To make it easier to understand, let me divide the alternated time character version as Past ML and FL, Present…
Yeah, for some reason, the phone holder and only the phone holder retains actual memories even while gaining the new ones. That was never really explained. Past ML got new memories every time they changed the present, while keeping the originals. Present got new memories when future changed his present while keeping the originals. Everyone else around just immediately only knows/remembers whatever happened in futures timeline
As for the Xi's involvement, I don't really have an answer for you lol. That wasn't explained at all because only past and present MLs knew of the involvement and it never showed any conversations to future ML. Future ML has no idea about the phone, so it couldn't have been a tip off from the future. The only conversation on the phone in the ending time line was present ML telling future* FL to put the phone in the apartment, and she didn't even know about the time paradox. So I just explained it away to myself that it was in the evidence future FL gave future ML. It's nonsensical, but the only thing that really fits given what we were shown.
This should have been a couple episodes longer I think. There wasn't much more to show, but they rushed to fit everything into the last 40 or so minutes and caused quite a few plot holes while the rest of the show did a decent job avoiding them
Can someone explain the censor thing? What did China censor? I thought the ending was understandable and am really confused on all the comments about censorship lol
To make it easier to understand, let me divide the alternated time character version as Past ML and FL, Present…
It wasn't entirely clear, but I think the ending was actually present ML and future FL that were married. Present ML decided not to try and alter events again, since he saw that still ended with FL dying, so he completely took the phone out of the equation by having future her leave it and get out of town, while also giving over the evidence. He knew that future ML would take that evidence and run with it, since it was literally him in the past, but now future FL is in France oblivious to everything and due to the evidence, knows the Xi's are a part of it as well so all threats to her are gone.
A year later, she comes back and once present ML finds out, uses his knowledge of present FL (the B&B thing) to find her (future FL). Knowing what he does from his multiple f ups courting her, he gets straight to the point of the fact that he is GuGu, which drastically expedited their relationship since any version of both ML and FL were already stupid in love with the other.
It showed that their memories changed depending on what they changed in the past, so present ML got future ML to get rid of the enemies while keeping future FL safe.
I took it as the year inside the phone's influence is a bubble. Since he waited for future ML to take care of everything. Once complete, he got rid of the phone, which popped the bubble and caused all other versions to disappear. Final outcome being present ML with future FL, he just remembers their dating phase while she doesn't. Her dreams are probably the cause of some type of fate. She dreamed what she was supposed to go through, but didn't since present ML saved her
I can only explain it away that he was playing and she was going along with it. I think he was letting her be…
Good point. They definitely should have skipped the right turn conversation imo.
She also got over her fear of driving an expensive car though. I can't remember for sure, but I think the scene you are talking about was referring to the G-Wagon that she didn't want to drive. She later drove the G-Wagon, and that SUV is damn near just as expensive as the Ferrari she was in when they wrecked.
It seems to me that the writer came up with the line for future ML to say to present ML without FL knowing, and put in a badly done scene to make that one line make sense
Plot hole in ep 14. She knows how to drive, and there was nothing shown about her being a bad driver, except the horrible parallel parking job when she took the bird to the vet. So why are they now acting like he is teaching her to drive like he taught her how to swim? She's already a licensed driver...
Watching ep 14 now, and I'm kinda annoyed at the direction it seems they are taking now. Up to this point, it has been the only drama I watched where the 2FL is a love interest to the ML, but is actually a decent person. Like yeah, she tries to steal away the ML, but she is open about it and doesn't resort to underhanded tactics or even treats the FL poorly. Just a flat out I like him too and I am planning on competing. She even gave up gracefully there for a while and attempted to save the ML by betraying her father. Now, all of a sudden, it seems that they are making her the antagonist of the final 3 1/2 episodes and wish they would be going a different way with it. Give us a 2nd lead love interest that isn't a pure POS just once, please. You were almost there with this one
Subtitles are not meant to be an exact literal translation. I often find Viki's to be laborious and overly detailed,…
I think you might have misunderstood me. I don't have issues with translation explanations, especially when it is more accurate to the source material to use wording that wouldn't make sense without them. I just know on viki I've personally seen translator notes that explain a phrase or idiom that already make sense even without prior drama or language knowledge and take up half the screen and think the edits should also remove those, not just condense the dialogue portion
on that note though, I prefer viki subs over the half assed subs netflix gives us. their subs suck even on originally english content
I've come to find MDL is very bad about JDrama information in general. It is definitely more geared towards K…
I just wrote A LOT and accidentally hit cancel instead of post lol.
Major points I agree it isn't MDL's fault Japan freely gives us anime, I wish they would give more live action as well. It's almost impossible to recommend a JDrama because asking someone to join a discord, fill out a form, etc to watch a show is a lot There's still a lot of KDramas coming out, even on major OTTs, that are good Viki is Japanese owned, so they could use that explicitly to avoid Western influence on their art Fan subbers are the heroes we need, but don't deserve and I love all of them

They definitely did the thing, and I am actually annoyed by it. Why ruin a character that was good for 80% of the show? Bleh
