I found this character(keen) irritating as a whole, not just because of this specific issue.
I kinda get it though. Imagine losing your father and immediately afterwards being attacked by loan sharks because of a debt you know nothing about. Having to leave your home and missing out on a job opportunity. Having constant threats of violence and not even a deadline to rely on. Right now he is very much in survival mode and just slowly connecting with people at the gym who are more or less strangers to him.
Honestly I would have been a mess and acted a fool
Okay keen arranging the match between Than and Typhoon without asking him was a shitty and selfish thing to do. But why are they blaming him for Than not wanting to do the second arranged match which had nothing to do with Keen and was agreed upon by the couch without consulting Than? Are they playing the blame game? Like without A...B and C wouldn't have happened? Well then we have to go further back and blame the lone sharks...or heck, even the deceased father for borrowing money from them. I hate stuff like this.
maybe I am reading to much into this but could it be that the NC-scenes actually are quite important for the plot.here…
at the beginning in the very first scene in episode one the NC scene shows their first encounter and Sorn is very much focused on satisfying Jun. This kinda goes on with the mutual satisfaction until they confirm their status as fuck buddies. Now Sorn doesn't have to care if Jun is satisfied. Especially in Ep. 5 it was very clear that it was all about his needs and not Jun's.
Is it just me or does Kyu Hyun add little to nothing to the games. For me he is either coasting by or riding other people's coattails. Maybe because when they introduced the players with all their accolades and educational background and with him they said "he won a math competition in high school" I always wondered why is he here aside from being a celebrity.
I always had this theory that the golden blood can be used as somewhat a "life elixir". They kept on saying that he only has to get 21 for him to not be a target. I think it's like waiting for a crop to be ready to harvest. Also it has to have happened before otherwise they wouldn't know anything about the golden blood. For example why would they know that he would be out of "danger" when he turns 21? Unless they know the golden blood reached it's full potential at that age and is ready to use to it's full effect.
I have this feeling that JiHun thinks that DoBa asked him to date to be a shield for the "stalker", which (I know) doesn't explain why excepted in the first place. JiHun is not the fastest so I feel like someone really needs to explain to him what is going on but I am pretty sure DoBa would only do that in connection with him giving up on their friendship.
There's a real conflict going on inside Akin. On the one hand he is in full denial. I feel like more than trying to convince Jin that nothing happened he is trying to fool himself that nothing happened. Unfortunately pretending that everything is fine doesn't make it go away (as he can see at least some evidence that something happened). On the other hand he feel guilty. I am not sure if this is something he used to do when drunk but nevertheless he feels like he has caused this. It's interesting that he solely blames himself and not Johnny which is why it might be possible that something like this happened in the past.
The most important thing that Akin should do is recognizing that it's not his fault. No matter how drunk you get, if someone does something to you while you are unconscious, you should not feel like you caused this.
It kinda makes sense that he can't explain it to Jin and ask for his forgiveness because he hasn't forgiven himself.
At first I was like "why doesn't he just say he blacked out and doesn't remember a thing" but the more I think about it I get why he doesn't. As I said he doesn't want it be real and he blames himself.
I feel so bad for him. No one should go through something like this
I'm sorry....but the forgiveness towards ML from FL after he was lying to her for quite the extensive time was wax too fast and completely unearned. There was no real explanation and therefore the apology was insencier. But none the less she foulded like s lswn chair
For a mistress, who is a public figure, trying to get pregnant just to bound the other party who is also a public figure is not just dumb but career suicide
That's very interesting. I am really curious why you feel like the production quality is really low. Could you specify what you mean by that?
You mentioned "messy script, odd camera angles, and uninteresting side characters" are those the factors that give you low production quality vibes?
Also what would you quality wise compare it to? Because when I think of low quality I have several series that come to mind
I would love to hear your thoughts because I think it's great how everyone can experience the same thing in different ways. Also please don't feel like this as an attack or you have to justify yourself because your opinion is yours. I am just genuinely curious and live to have conversations
I know this probably won't happen but I would love to see Billkin and PP as the leads
Honestly I would have been a mess and acted a fool
here me out below....
