Awesome! That scene was one of my favorites!

You answered your own question (: He's able to recover his inner force because of the flower.

He Wen Jun (Immortal Sun) is playing a similar role in the sitcom, Never Give Up (Gao De Fen), and I find it so hilarious 😆 He plays the antagonistic character's subordinate as well.

I agree. So far, I’m finding the leading characters and their stories more compelling than those of Xiao Lan Hua and Dongfang Qing Cang, especially Xiang Yun's character development. I’m also really enjoying how we’re essentially getting several mini stories/arcs in one drama! Not mention that the set designs and cinematography are gorgeous! I hope that LY7T only benefits Yang Chao Yue and Ding Yu Xi’s respective careers.

Love Between Fairy and Devil. It’s another xianxia drama.

I know others probably already saw this, but OMG it's risen to 9!! 🥳🥳

This is my head canon ending as well! I love how the author captured the different quirks, habits, and emotions of the characters. No one was ooc. And I agree. Imo, MLC is about brotherhood/deep lasting friendships. I'm also glad that the author didn't go the romance route.

I checked ao3, but I forgot what it was called. However, I was able to find it after scrolling through the comments!

I found the one I was looking for! Hopefully this is the one you saw as well: https://archiveofourown.org/works/49240924

Wanted to use the spoilers block because I know the last episodes drop tomorrow. The fanfic was about curing Li Lian Hua with the Styx flower I believe.

Yes! I've been looking through the comments and ao3 without much success unfortunately. It was about (spoilers)

I'm pretty sure that someone posted a MLC fanfic a few days ago, and I've been scrolling through the comments to find it without success. If I didn't imagine it and if possible, can someone share the link to that fanfic please?

So happy it's at 8.9 now! Hopefully it'll rise to 9!!

There's a TV version?? How is it different to the version that's been released? Will it have a different ending? Sorry, so many questions all at once 😅

Thank you for your response! I may do just that. I'm currently watching Stand by Me, but I'm really struggling to continue it. I love the ML and 2FL and the other supporting characters. But I'm having a hard time connecting with the FL. I hope she becomes more mature and intelligent soon because right now she's a bit too naive and clueless imo.

Currently on episode 4, may someone tell me when the FL becomes more mature and intelligent? Right now, she comes off as naive and clueless. I don't know how she's been able to survive thus far. I really like the premise of the story, a figurehead emperor against the powerful eunuch. Cheng Yi always plays such complex characters! I love the 2FL's character, and I wish she were the FL instead. I would also prefer if there were no romance at all.

That's a clever strategy! And I just saw your update— just liked your post! Most of the responses are asking for a translated version.

The international version has an option to translate posts! Click on "see translation." But it'd be nice if there were a similar extension for mobile apps as well.
