What’s truly captivating about Tang Qi’s feelings is that he’s falling for a character’s essence rather than just their physical appearance. He is irresistibly drawn to the kindness and gestures that reflect their true selves, almost as if he’s falling for a soul that manifests in different bodies.
In both instances where he develops feelings for Su Miao and the doctor, it’s not about their faces but the actions he observes from a distance. For Su Miao, it was her heroic act of saving a child, and for the doctor, it was the tender moment of wiping leaves off Su Miao’s photo. These moments reveal their character, and that’s what truly resonates with him.
As he gets to know them, he discovers the charm of Su Cheng Cheng—gritty, strong-headed, and chaotic. This is when he fully falls for them. It’s endearing because his affection is rooted in what’s inside, not what’s outside. Even though the exterior may change, the essence remains the same, and that’s the beauty of it all.
Sorry but if I had the bracelet and I were scc then I'd turn into TQ himself...if we going to drive this man crazy then let's do it wholeheartedly 😭😂 jocking I feel bad for him
I agree. TQ is obviously not yet ready to see SCC as for what she really is to him.
people's attention spans have been ruined by tiktok sadly..this is a story that's going to be developed accordingly..tq is still figuring himself and will probably run mad in the process 😂 but it's a journey I don't want thing to be rushed I love the pacing for now
The drama is over 32 episodes long we only on episode 14 there is more than enough time to get interactions between the leads.. personally would rather have a build up to that...rather than something random..the pacing is fine...to me.
I am absolutely captivated by the growth and development of the relationship between the leads, especially considering their initial lack of interactions in the first few episodes. The way they start off with misconceptions and misunderstandings is so intriguing. For instance, he perceives her as a bully and lazy at work, while she sees him as a superficial jerk who only cares about appearances. It’s fascinating to watch how he gradually realizes he was completely wrong about her, recognizing her hardworking nature. At the same time, she begins to understand that her initial judgments were misguided. The dynamic between them deepens as he interacts with her various personas, yet he still manages to see Cheng Cheng for who she truly is, both at work and in personal moments. This duality makes it easier for him to appreciate her different personalities, and it’s heartwarming to see him fall for her in all her forms. I can’t help but be drawn into this drama; it's hard to stay away from the comment section! Despite my intentions to avoid MDL for my other ongoing K-dramas and C-dramas, this one has me completely hooked.
Tang Qi is such a breath of fresh air compared to recent male leads. He’s quirky, nerdy, and funny, and it all feels so natural. He’s not physically strong but incredibly smart, which adds to his charm. What I love most is that he isn’t the perfect, flawless kind of person. He has a relatable side that feels genuinely human—he can be clueless, unreasonable, and a bit messy at times.
Lately, many male leads have had similar character traits, often portrayed in the same cold, stoic manner. It’s refreshing to see someone like Tang Qi, who breaks that mold
I really love "Filter." I'm only ten episodes in, so it’s a bit early to call it my favorite of the year, but I have high hopes that it just keeps getting better. One of the standout aspects for me is the dialogue. It feels so relatable and genuine. This drama is hilarious—seriously, you’ll be laughing until your stomach hurts!
But what I appreciate most is that, despite all the humor, it also dives into some really deep and relatable topics. There are moments when the laughter fades, and you find yourself experiencing a complete emotional shift. It’s the dialogue that really captures this balance, making those poignant moments hit even harder.
The biggest charm of this drama so far is how it seamlessly blends depth with lightheartedness. It’s a unique combination that keeps me engaged, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
