i think a majority of watchers find the flow very fast? backstory, then people riot, city falls, move to new palace, learn magic from turtle, now a martial arts contest, soon a new fox arc, i feel like it's steady, but maybe some people prefer more action. i dont think the ml is the missing point, perhaps it's the music. my only complaint about the show so far is sometimes the ost feels unsuitable. a very emotional scene can have diminished effect's if the music doesn't match? hope you'll find enjoyment soon!

i think people are forgetting that this is a 40 episode drama lol, i find the revenge plot refreshing when the character actually recognizes their weaknesses and has solid motivation
