i think that's the message of the drama; eternals and demons are endlessly at odds and hardly trust each other, basically an internal bias. for the sake of their decade long friendship they naturally struggle to truly cut each other off. maybe you're referring to a specific scene, but i dont think she encourages chong zhao to pursue her in any means. her displays of concern/friendly warnings demonstrate that she trusts his character

mdl ratings are always a bit goofy, a 8.5 show can be worse than an 8.0 show sometimes. never hurts to try a few eps to know how you feel, most of the comments are positive. i find it interesting, but some people dislike the character dynamics, so it depends on your taste 🫠

im a terrible editor, but i can tell you that most of the relations are quite straightforward and already revealed in plot (familial or friend or foe or love). there are a few "new/interesting" ones, typically in the top right box: between jingyuan (ARP) and xingyue (BL) it says "fate does not allow", xingyue and moli (CHS) are strong rivals
it also says bai shuo and fan yue have mutual emotions, bai shou and fu ling have an "unpredictable/mystical" relationship. lmk if you need more!
