asphyxia

it's hard for me to like haikuo's mom atm 🫠 the dad runs a restaurant and raises a kid while she chases her dream because he agrees to it, she feels wronged when he doesn't seize the opportunity to go to beijing even at the cost of their son's studies and the dad's old restaurant. it's understandable if they have different ideals, but I can't stand her belittling the canal even after he clearly said "nah im staying here"

besides the main songs with lyrics from the ost, there are some instrumentals that are very enchanting. unfortunately i cant find any 🫠like during certain flashback scenes they play this calming/heavenly vocal clip but it's not in the official spotify playlist so idk where to find it

I can find all the main songs on spotify but not certain instrumentals, does anyone know the name or link to the violin/piano segment that plays during their HK reunion hug and other emotional scenes?

tears streaming down my face seeing how alone she was, tissues arent enough 😭

i held off on the recent episodes bc i saw a lot of debate in the comments about character decisions and all that cause i thought it would be hard to watch... just caught up and the episodes have been fine?? i have no criticism and i believe nothing was done "out of character", i think eps24-25 are actually v emotionally powerful

i recommend kisskh

not out until next week, schedule is posted in images

it's doing well in china, airing on cctv1 and will start airing on jiangsu network next week, any cdramas that dont market themselves to be romance-heavy/idol-like are less popular on mdl (EX. the iQiyi show Knockout broke many records in China but is not very popular on mdl)

in youth arc it's more like simple crushes, serious relationships only start later in adult arc

i took a break from drama around ep22 to wait for rest to air and binge later but i think i missed something.. 😮i saw a weibo hot search about the plot changing a lot, did it deviate from the novel? or is it a new arc?

no need to read the novel, there are reuters of their kisses and confession

cast order reveals all, zhai zi lu is SML ou hao is ML

ep 11-12 trailer show that the families are moving forward through financial difficulty 😭😭

yuzheng said on weibo that there are still 20000+ special effects shots that need to be produced so july is most likely the earliest possible release

I just know my heart will break when they grow up and no longer have that youthful friendship dynamic.. my poor flower street group 😭😭

LMAOOOOO 😭😭😭

yes

I would say main genre is coming of age, but romance takes a greater place in their adult lives aka during the later arcs

omg the new trailers.. 😭will be a crazy ride
