ep29 luangzhu claims to be xingyue, having waited 60000 years for jingyuan to return, chong zhao reunites with his parents, baishuo catches onto fuling's lies and suspects that she is her sister

not sure how reputable, but a short video said that in the novel, xixi (the little creature) is the embodiment of fu ling's past as baixi, meaning that fu ling can only fully gain her memories once xixi dies. there was once scene where xixi gets hurt by the bug and fu ling suddenly has a memory flash, so i think it's not just a theory but instead the true plot

The Jingyou Mountain Arc was filled with tragedy totally agree, right after one conflict is resolved another one smacks you in the face. they don't even get to chill for a few minutes 🫠 upside is that costumes are so pretty. Ik this is off topic but the way they do eye makeup for the demons are perfect (like fu ling and chang mei)

this happens to me all the time when im not motivated or sick of watching things, binges cant last forever without making you feel a bit nauseous from the endless amount of content, there's still a chance none of these fit your taste but it does sound like a slump
