im wondering if there is different editor from every drama, i mean Moonlight mystique already stated when its…
i believe it's bc not all dramas reveal their entire airing schedule all in one go, and even with the schedule out, sometimes the platforms will drop express packages and the airing will end quicker
I'm disappointed to say that 'Moonlight mystique' is an industry plant failure. Despite having a big production…
I also have a few things I dislike about the show, mainly some dialogue and music timing that ruins the atmosphere of certain scenes, but I find it a bit drastic to call it a failure based on your personal views of the chemistry and acting.
It's entirely possible we frequent different sites/apps, but I haven't seen the terrible ratings you speak of. On IMDb, MDL, or iQiyi, ratings are naturally skewed, either inflated by glazing fans or deflated by haters, so I wouldn't go by that metric to measure the show's popularity.
S+ shows naturally are held to high standards because they're considered "cream of the crop" costly projects, so if people were going into the show expecting it to become their top 1 show but ended up disliking it, it's understandable. However, I would say the positive comments outweigh the negative ones I've seen, whether it's MDL or weibo.
You can see fans posting links bts clips or photos of the actors/actresses in the comments. The majority of commenters can evidently appreciate the chemistry of BL and ARP. Since they're very close friends IRL, it's understandable if it "ruins the mood" or makes the romantic scenes feel less authentic for certain viewers. Regarding the promo event, I concur that every fan has a different expectation for chemistry. I was watching clips on weibo and I saw the "one-hand princess carry", the recreations of their posted tiktoks (where they pulled each other close). To me, it suffices to display their chemistry. It's understandable that if you found the drama's romantic scenes awkward, their offline chemistry wouldn't appeal to you either.
Regarding the demon lord characters in general, I've never been a fan of the domineering trope so maybe I'm unqualified to grade ARP's acting presence. I assume that bold eyebrows and sharp features are enough to make an actor suitable, but maybe you prefer the maturer-looking ones. In terms of acting, it's true that this is his first xianxia of this style, but I'm wondering where your dissatisfaction stems from. Should he have a more domineering presence or show more sentiments during his vulnerable scenes?
Sorry for the long paragraphs π« I appreciate that you expressed the reasons behind your hate without trying to smear the show's reputation, unlike other haters who frequent drama forums. Ultimately, I understand and even relate to some of the watchers who find flaws with the show, but these preferences don't outweigh the immense love/praise the show gets from its large fanbase. 6/10 is your rightful rating, I don't want to try to change it, but I can't bring myself to agree that its a flop. It's difficult to quantify the opinions of every watcher into "good" or "bad" since popularity is subjective, so maybe we're just meant to hold our different opinions π
Few people say about too much ost.. But personally I like that they use it in scenes, it really resonates with…
for me i think all the osts sound great, like most people im just probably used to hearing more songs being used? like i remember in sokp the romantic scenes wouldnt always use the same track so itd be more refreshing, but so far thats my only complaint on the show
That flower demon girl saying i didn't do anything bad to you chongzhao and being upset is the newest peak of…
not justifying her actions, but i feel like she genuinely believes her methods to be "lawful" in the sense that she views the world as evil cause she was taught that way. later arcs will set up her revelations
Don't tell me Zang Shan likes Tian Huo after all? πππ Poor man...that explains the aggressive punches…
i feel like there were hints by the way he was quite protective of her, i initially thought they would be endgame before mu jiu entered the picture.. who knows πββοΈ
While I agree that Fu Ling is practically the devil incarnate at this point, killing indiscriminately, wreaking…
some people here (like me) got spoiled and know her backstory, and like many other characters, they're always planning to take the time to unravel these plots bit by bit instead of laying out their cards early. im awaiting fuling's evolution π»
