Yay! I'm so happy you're liking it!
Sujini is one of my favorite drama heroines ever. Probably in my top 3!
Usually in the typical sageuk dramas you see all the women as either damsels-in-distress or courtesans, and they keep reinforcing the idea that women have no rights and must obey ~the man~.
"The Legend" is a fusion sageuk and definitely doesn't show women as weak or submissive. In this drama the men respect the women and even fear them. I really like that.

I tried "King of Lan Ling" but the cheesiness was insane. I couldn't handle it anymore! xD

I think that for this drama they wanted to include several genres (fantasy, historical, action, drama, romance, comedy) but not focus on a specific genre. How many times do we find a drama with a great plot that ends up being all about the melodramatic romance and nothing else? Plus, I love the female characters in "The Legend". They are so powerful and fearless!

I'm in a "down" phase. Nothing really interests me. I'm going to start "Answer me 1994" now and hope it's good!

I think this is one of those dramas where the heroine goes through Hell and realizes what she's done wrong, becomes a better and stronger person and then happy ending for everyone.
But right now, in these first episodes, this drama really is no fun. They're moving along very slowly because this is a long drama, but I want to see something happen already!
