Hi! I'm doing good, and you?

I checked your drama list. I see you're more of an asian movie fan! :D I noticed that two of my favorite Kmovies weren't on your list. Can I recommend them to you? "The Classic" and "Il Mare". They are AMAZING (the first one is better than the latter one though).

Hi! You'll catch up to my drama list in no time!

I actually wrote a review for "The Witch of the West is Dead". It's a quiet family movie, but very touching.

Ah! I'm so happy! :D usually people don't give me feedback that quickly!
"Love Revolution" gives me all sorts of warm fuzzy feelings. It's the very definition of good old romantic Jdrama.

"Majo no Jouken", "Love Revolution" and "Orange Days" are some examples of GREAT older Jdramas! :D

Hello! :) nice to meet another Jdrama fan!

I see you're watching "One Litre of Tears". That's a beautiful drama, even if it makes you cry like 10 litres of tears.

You should watch "Orange Days" too! :)

Hello! :)

Dear lord... your plan to watch list is HUGE! *scared*
So you're watching "Bara no nai Hanaya"! I loved that drama SO MUCH!
Looking through your list, I can understand what kind of dramas you like. I think you'll probably love the drama "Galileo".

Have you ever watched the Jmovie "The Witch of the West is Dead"? I think you'd love it!

Now it feels like everyone and their mother is online. Like... literally. And everyone has a blog. And all the websites are about exposing things yourself without actually doing real conversation with anyone.

Plus, all the good websites closed down due to copyright claims and such. When MU closed down, so did MOST of my drama sources. T__T

Back when I started watching dramas, I met many people online who were my age and had watched SO MANY DRAMAS already. I got a lot of good recs from them, even if they weren't that big on ROMANCE as I am. LOL

When I first started watching dramas I had a neat list and everything! But I stopped updating it after 50 dramas or so. I used to chat online with people who loved dramas, specially Jdramas, but then they dropped the hobby and I was left alone.

It gets pretty sad when you have no one to discuss these things with. Real life friends have no idea or interest regarding Asian Dramas.

But really, is it just me or is the internet becoming less and less fun with each passing year? =\

Hello! :D yes, this is a picture from "Soulmate"!. This drama could have been sooooooo much better if they hadn't spent SO MUCH TIME on that super irritating secondary girl. I wanted to strangle her most of the time!

It's nice to meet you!

Hello! It's okay, I understand you're busy!

RE: "Empire of Gold" -- I should have been more specific in my review: I felt that Lee Yo Won wasn't expressing herself enough in about 70% of the drama, but Go Soo was expressing a bit too much in about 20% of it. But I did appreciate all the energy he brought to the drama. That scene after he killed the guy and let Seol Hee take the blame... that's some of the best acting I've seen in any drama.

I've watched many of Lee Yo Won's dramas and movies... and she's a really limited actress. I think "Empire of Gold" was her best performance yet. That's the limit to her abilities.

RE: Currently airing dramas. I'm going to fast-forward "Heirs" just to see Im Joo Eun and Choi Jin Hyuk as a couple! I also don't have much patience for airing dramas, but people tend to SPOIL me before they're over...

Hello! :D I'm so glad to find another Jdrama fan!

I looked through your list and I noticed you haven't watched "H2" yet! :O You really should! It sounds exactly like something you'd love!

You mentioned you finished "Golden Empire" recently. I did too. Since I keep thinking about it almost everyday, I finally broke down and wrote a review about it.

The new currently airing dramas are kind of boring. The biggest disappointment was "Ando Lloyd" by far.

There are quite a few old Jdramas that I never checked out. Stuff like "Trick", "GTO", "Gokusen" and even a couple of Kimura Takuya dramas. I once told myself that I'd finish watching all of KimuTaku's dramas, but I find that most of them don't carry the same magic as "Pride" did. -- I think I might watch "Last Christmas" next. Don't know if it's any good though.

I've been watching too many Kdramas lately. They're simply the easiest to find (and get subbed faster). But I need to pay a bit more attention to Taiwanese and Japanese dramas now. So I'm on the lookout for some good ones. Recs?

I really hate the Average Jane heroine. Just an empty vessel for the viewer to fill in.

I haven't checked out "The Master's Sun" yet. My love for So Ji Sub might make me watch it soon though.

"The Greatest Love"... hmmm... first all, I hate cutesy or loud exaggerated voices. The actors were really overdoing it! Second, the typical Hong Sister's landmarks were being shoved in my face ALL THE TIME. Yes, I get it, HEARTS RATE MEANS LOVE, POTATO IS SYMBOLIC, PORORO ROCKS. WHO CARES! *quits drama*

Kamisama and Taiyou no Uta have tragic endings, unfortunately. So you should only check my revised recs! All those have happy endings!

The Hong Sisters are usually hit or miss for me. I really enjoyed "My Girl" and "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho", but I really disliked some of their other dramas like "Big" and "The Greatest Love". Also, for some unknown reason I don't like Gong Hyo Jin and yet she's now a Hong Sisters favorite.

I read somewhere: "Life is too short for bad dramas". And it's really true! If I'm giving away X hours of my life to a certain drama, then it better be worth it. So I am ruthless in my ratings. :P

"Bara no nai Hanaya" is actually a very romantic drama. There are no hot makeouts though (it aired in 2008, "conservative age") but there is kissing!

I watched "Aishiteru to Itte Kure" ages ago! But I do remember all that last-minute useless drama. That's why it doesn't deserve a 10 (that and the heroine's super annoying voice).

Oops, sorry! I forgot about the "happy ending" part. Let me change my recommended dramas: "Love Revolution", "Itoshi Kimi e" and "Bara no nai Hanaya" (even though the latter one is more recent).

Honestly, I don't mind tragic endings when they're done right. I'd rather have a good tragic ending that a messy happy ending. :P
