Yes I felt the same, this year we god many good dramas but if they were released couple of years back the rating would've atleast 0.5 stars higher. In past even below average dramas used to get 8+ easily.

But for cdramas the starting rating is still good.

Why kdramas now start with so low rating and gradually increase by the end. It's opposite to previous years when ratings used to start high and then gradually decrease.

He did Arthdal Chronicles in 2023 which is historical.
