I saw a leaked video of Wen Ke Xing with white hair ,, the fan who posted the video said this is from the finalewhy…
I'm not sure either, but I read somewhere that a fan speculated that it would be because WKX uses his qi to heal ZZS's wounds, which turns his hair white.
It is highly recommended to read the novel while watching this at the same time. According to the novel, WKX's…
That sounds incredible intriguing; you motivated me to start the novel. x)
I really hope this is also the case in the drama-- after all, we haven't seen WKX really fight that much yet, & he's won every battle except for the ones with YBY.
Why is everyone after the glazed armours? and why did ZZS left his organization? and I like WKX's character very…
When pieced together, the glazed armor can open an Armory that has the secrets of every Sect, which supposedly includes things like invincibility / immortality.
ZZS leaves because he realizes how empty his life has become-- doing someone else's dirty work, killing everyone he's close to.
question-- without spoiling the story, given that he's naturally talented, how good does Cheng Ling get at martial arts by the end? I feel like I want him to get as good as Gu Xiang / Cao Wei Ning, but if he matches up to ZZS / WKX I'd flip a table
He use Glzed Armor only for creat a chaos in martial art word and also ghost valley because he want to get revenge…
He wants to get revenge on both?!?! God, I have a bad feeling about that-- he's going to have nowhere else to go except for ZZS when both sides turn on him.
The master of Ghost Valley rules by terror and ruthlessness. His top lieutenants (the ten devils) are constantly…
Yes, that makes sense also. So when he's fighting against the people of Ghost Valley, he's fighting against people controlled by the Ten Devils, and I'm guessing he doesn't even care if they succeed or not, he just wants chaos...
This is definitely getting more & more interesting, since some of the Ghosts formed an alliance with Zhao Jing, & it seems like some of the Ghosts aren't evil at all.
I really want WKX to run into some of the devils outside of Ghost Valley; I feel that would make a really interesting scene.
In the Ghost Valley what matters the most is strenght. Wen Ke Xing is the most powerful one, but it doesn't mean…
That makes sense-- I think at one point in episode 17, some of the ghosts mentioned wanting to overthrow him, yet they still listen to him & follow his orders because he's more powerful than them.
Ahhh that makes me so excited to watch the remaining episodes. Thanks for getting back to me! :)
I feel like my summary doesn't quite do justice on the story, so I would like that add that what's particularly…
I'm glad! I hope you're enjoying it. :) I've never read the novel before, so I don't really know what happens.
I think where Wen Ke Xing stands is supposed to be a little confusing. I'm at episode 17, and there's not much more revealed about his past yet. I personally think he's a good person-- he just wants revenge for his parents' death, and being separated from them at such a young age, he probably didn't develop a strong sense of morality and instead has a lot of pain and hatred inside of him. I think he most definitely has a secret agenda.
I also think he's definitely in love with ZZS. I understand WKX as someone who doesn't care what others think, but ZZS calls him crazy, and that's when we see WKX really break down and question his own morality. There's definitely a special bond between them.
Does WKX control all the ghosts in the Ghost Valley? I'm confused because in the first few episodes, he fights the masked men at Mirror Lake Sect and then the drug men at the cemetery-- those are technically his men, right? He's interfering with his own plan? The ghosts also seem to act independently and do things on their own (like when they had those men kill each other in the ring).
In the first episode he gives the order to get all the pieces of Glazed Armor, but then he tells ZZS he's not interested in it? Does he only want the pieces to create chaos, like when he made a ton of copies of it?
Who is the Hanging Ghost, is that also one of WKX's subordinates?
I would appreciate if you didn't spoil past what's already aired & lmk if these things are revealed later in the story! thanks x)
Can someone summarise the drama till now for me pretty please! I don't mind spoilers... i am a bit confused whether…
I feel like my summary doesn't quite do justice on the story, so I would like that add that what's particularly striking to me about this drama is that it isn't a coming of age story. The main characters have already seen a lot of the world, and are coming to terms with their past trauma. There's an underlying theme of morality and the idea of what makes someone a good person. Wen Ke Xing in particular is really intriguing to me-- he has so many sides to him (he's so childish with Zhou Zi Shu but incredibly scary and intimidating to everyone else) we don't really know much about him and his past yet, and where he stands in the entire story. I've fallen in love with the characters-- I think it's been a while since a couple has given me so much joy to watch.
I recommend you watch the first 3 episodes to see if it's right for you-- that's when I got hooked to the story, and I think those episodes gives you a sense of if you'll like the rest of the drama or not. :)

I'm probably not the best person but I'll give it a try-- here's a rough summary. x)
Zhou Zi Shu leaves his position as the leader of a famous assassin group, Window of Heaven, that basically does dirty work for royalty. As a punishment for leaving, he drives 7 nails into his body that will slowly cripple him and kill him in 3 year's time, but he still chooses to leave because he's had enough of killing. After he leaves he just plans to chill and enjoy his remaining days, but ends up running into Wen Ke Xing (love interest who won't stop following him) and visiting the Mirror Lake Sect the night when the Ghost Valley attacks, looking for an item called the Glazed Armor, which opens an armory that's said to make someone invincible and contain the secrets of all the Sects. He saves Zhang Cheng Ling (a little kid who's an heir to Mirror Lake Sect) and promises he'll take Cheng Ling to the Five Lake Alliances (organization of 5 sects, which includes Mirror Lake). Turns out Five Lake Alliances sucks-- they have their own motivations and only want Cheng Ling because he has a piece of Glazed Armor. Cue lots of fighting among parties who want the collect all the pieces of Glazed Armor, and lots of death, where Wen Ke Xing is the likely instigator of many of these fights. Zhou Zi Shu eventually coaxes Cheng Ling to give up his piece of the Glazed Armor to the Five Lake Alliances. There's a big confrontation among these parties on the day of the Hero's Conference, a ceremony held by the Five Lake Alliances, and the leader, seeing the violence and destruction caused by greed, ruins the pieces of Glazed Armor he has and commits suicide. Zhou Zi Shu takes a grief-stricken Cheng Ling and leaves the place.
Agree. I wished fans subbed it I'm soo eager to watch it. By thursday we will get 12 episodes subbed? That's unfair…
given that they're eventually releasing subtitles that are already done, it probably seems like a waste of effort to translate in advance unfortunately. it's a time-consuming process!
This type of drama uses a lot of more formal court language + has a lot of references to poetry, so it's difficult to understand (I'm a Chinese speaker, but I'm not that good, & I can only understand 60% of it)-- I imagine translating would be even worse. :(
can anyone spoil to me when he takes off his mask? has it already happened (in the episodes aired so far) or where does it happen in the series (near the end?)?
I really hope this is also the case in the drama-- after all, we haven't seen WKX really fight that much yet, & he's won every battle except for the ones with YBY.
Despite having such a small budget, they really spent money on the right things haha. The costumes are amazing.

I think WKX's questionable morality especially is one of the most interesting things in the show; it's what draws me to his character again & again.
