I don't know if I should be happy or sad... Happy because this is now one of my favourite kdramas, because the chemistry between characters was amazing, the acting and everything else and because it was such a delightful surprise... Sad because it ended.
The first episode was not impreasive at all. I'm probably going to drop this. The way they introduced the characters, the characters themself and acting felt poorly executed. The comedy is not my taste. The drama feels cheap production wise. Which itself is not a dealbreaker. But the rest is not convincing either.
So many people seem to be a fan of the Eun Ho and Hee Yeon pairing. I haven't read the webtoon but the idea sound really good and cute to me. But we're already on ep 10. Hopefully they start their romance storyline in the next episode and won't rush it through the last ones.
In the last few months many dramas aired. The airing schedule was really tight. But in february only a few dramas are going to air. Branding in Seongsu dong, A Killer Paradox, Wedding impossible and if I'm right The impossible heir. Luckly I'm somewhat interested in all of them but A Killer Paradox is very high on my list.
I can only say it again... I never expected to like this series so much. FL and ML have so much chemistry and radiate so much tension in their little interactions. It's incredible. It's quite heart-fluttering to be honest.
Question to people who have started this, is there a Romance between Lee Ha Nee's & Lee Jong Won's characters…
As of Ep 5: There is attraction between them. FL is attracted to the ML and ML is intrigued by FL. I don't want to spoil more. The way the romance is set up is totally my taste. A slow burn, but they are already falling for each other.
Every sageuk she did she was good. Her diction is great and she knows old korean really well. But people can't…
Can you please tell me which part of my comment is hateful to you? I want to understand it, since it doesn't seem like that to me.
1. I criticized her acting. That was never hate. I even provided reasons as to why I can't connect to her acting.
2. Nevertheless, I even said that I am open to continue watching the drama and see if her acting gets better in my opinion.
3. I can respect that you love her acting so could you please respect that I have a different view than you?
4. I literally never criticized her diction. I listed different points which are bothering me.
5. It took me time to build an opinion, since I've seen/started 4 other dramas of her
It's so tiring that everything is considered hate today. You have to walk on eggshells if you want to express your opnion on something... Well I am bored of hate as well. Just like you. But I am also bored of needing to sugarcoat my opinion. I mean, do you perhaps have a suggestion for me on how I can better formulate my opinion without it sounding hateful to you? Because at this point I am unable to see which part of my comment is hate.
wait what ... this is about a body swatch??? I guess I never read the synopsis until the end... until now. This is going to be a wilder ride than I thought
This drama has the potential for another great sageuk after "My Dearest". The premise is definitely my taste. I'm not really into the cross-dressing plotlines we see so often in kdramas. Mainly because they drag it out too much or because they don’t really attempt to make the FL's manly (Knight Flower is an example where they did it right, in my opinion. But that drama had only short scenes with it). But I can look over that in this case. The only thing that bothers me right now is Shin Sae Kyeong's acting. Jo Jung Suk is such an amazing and experienced actor, he portrays characters very well. For example, in Jealousy Incarnate or Hospital Playlist. I never doubted that he would do an amazing job. At Jo Jung Suk's side the acting of Shin Sae Kyeong seems flawed. I don't want to unnecessarily hate on her or anything, but it's sadly quite noticeable to me personally. It might be just a matter of taste. I know many dislike her acting while others adore her. I still wanted to give her another chance. But up until now there were quite some scenes where her acting seemed unnatural. It felt like watching someone putting on a show. I know that’s basically what acting is, putting on a show. But it requires some talent that viewers forget that someone is just acting. Her acting seemed especially awkward in little gestures or every-day expressions. For example, when she was startled. I really hope her acting gets better over the next episodes since everything else is totally my vibe.
Can someone explain why the review with 200+ likes is ranked 1st? I mean, its more of a rant against haters than…
I agree with you... It's so frustating that "reviews" are made after seeing only 2/3 episodes and without any decent substance. These reviews don't even state WHY they love/dislike a drama. They almost always just say "don't listen to these haters, I have only watched 2 episodes but they are brilliant and the drama will continue to be brilliant because trust me bro😐" or they will just say the drama is bad without giving reasoning. The time is over where reasonable and detailed reviews get the recognition they deserve. You spent so much time on a review just to get hate, because some fans can't take criticism. They can't accept that even good shows can have flaws. I'm not searching for perfection in a drama, therefore I am willing to accept the flaws my favourite dramas have.
He was a kid when BD and DS were kids, so I don’t think so
Even tgough he was a kid... What if he saw something and wants to reveal it now? Or the person unleashing Snowball knows something but it's too hard to speak up. Therefore they unleash the dog to guide the police to evidence...
FL disguised as a man was peak comedy. Le Ha Nee is more than talented. Besides that, they made an effort to make her actually look like a man. With beard and everything. This is often done badly...
What a pleasent surprise this drama is. No need to fuss over the age gap. It feels totally normal and the chemistry is off the roof. Quite the tension between these two. It's been a while since a drama made me laugh. This drama is funny! Good job on the acting, editing and writing of the comedic scenes.
