In fact, to me, this isn't fantasizing. Or rather, to explain what I mean, the 'imaginary shooting' was a 'metaphor',…
I think they used the gun metaphor because in Japan, guns/firearms are illegal so they have extremely little gun-related incidents, therefore it wouldn't really make the Japanese audience, the target audience, uncomfortable (although understandable that this wouldn't be the case for some non-Japanese audience). Also, it will show how Hira's feelings are so intense that he's imagining the physically impossible for him to do (acquire and use a gun) for the sake of Kiyoi.
Lol i feel the same, IT took me awhile to finish watching. I think not just Hira looking more like Riku but also…
Same!! I think so far I've only watched it twice, and in both it took me ages to finish because I can't help but pause every now and then. 😂 But yeah, an actual date in a sequel would be great! 🥺

Indeed!!! I'm experiencing more secondhand embarassment (in a good way lol) watching this than when watching their intimate scenes in the last episode. 🤣 Also the background music doesn't help hahaha! 🤣
Am I the only one who can't watch the extra video of HiraKiyo date with a straight face??? It takes me ages to finish watching that 3-minute video because I feel as though I'm invading their privacy. 🤣 (Also Hira in cool clothes just look like Riku so it's like I'm watching Riku and Yusei's date instead of HiraKiyo lololol)
If I'm not mistaken, "Caramel" (the opening song) is based on Hira's POV, while "Follow" is based on Kiyoi's.There's…
I think it just means that Caramel was specifically written as if Hira is singing it to Kiyoi while Follow is like Kiyoi's song for Hira. Both songs were especially written for the drama to represent Hira and Kiyoi's feelings.
Sorry if this was already shared here, but just in case it wasn't...Did you know that the text of the song 'follow'…

Same, I've actually lost count how many times I've watched the last episode haha!
Agree, each episode just kept getting better and better and the ending was super satisfying and breathtaking. So needless to say, it's so addicting that I can re-watch any episode at least once a day. XD
I think Hira would probably die if it happened 😂
For real, also if people are following the drama's official accounts, they use "HiraKiyo" as official pairing name so it's already pretty obvious from there who's top and bottom. (And they never use any pairing name whenever posting pics/vids of Hira and Koyama together.)
Exactly. We misunderstood their story too, so how could they understood each other? This story is all about perspective.…
For real, the way others interpret the story is kinda wild, like the entire point of the drama just went all over their heads. 🤣
I also found it amazing how the drama OST only has 10 tracks (compared to others that have like 20-30 background music) + the OP&ED but they managed to use each song skillfully. When "Follow" suddenly played in the last cut after that fluffy scene, I just simply had goosebumps, it was really perfect and haunting.
Am I the only one who found the way Hira took off his coat in *that* scene very hot?? 😂 Also some people be thinking Kiyoi is a bully when he's actually just a baby lol
Am I the only one who wonders how they could get into school at night? Don't they need a key for that? isn't it…
Hahaha I've watched several Jdramas wherein some of the characters sneak inside the school at night that I just started to think it's a normal thing 🤣
I think I almost forgot to breathe for 24 minutes during the last episode 😂 I have so many thoughts but I think I can't put them into coherent words yet because the finale was truly breathtaking.
This show is literally looked down upon for the dumbest reasons. I'd been planning to not watch it until it finished…
"This drama isn't supposed to be cute and fluffy. "
Not gonna lie, I started watching this out of curiosity and without reading the plot or anything about it so seeing the opening song I thought it was gonna be a cute high school drama LOLOLOL. I think that's where my initial discomfort came from, but as soon as I understood the real tone of the drama, I got obsessed right away. XD
Since they're doing it in the drama account, I wonder if it's correct to assume that they will be physically together?? :OOOO People who are fluent in Japanese, if possible please do tell them that there are a lot of overseas fans who support this drama. <3
