oh boy my idiot son akkun...same tho, i'm glad the hate for him is toned down lmaooo, but if they really just…
Haha yes!! I can already see some comments (in Twitter) being annoyed at Akkun so I'm thinking what more if they included that homophobic-sounding offhand comment in the manga from him. But it's also true that totally skipping that would be disappointing because that's where his character development will be coming from, and also as you said, it's totally an important part of his relationship with Aoki. Actually I noticed that the drama tends to skip a lot of Akkun-related scenes from the manga which is kinda sad but also understandable due to time-constraints but I'm hoping they will not skip or rush the Hashimoto-Akkun bits later on because I find their development really cute (and this is coming from a BL fan lol)! *_*
Ngl I only watched this for Suzuki Jin and didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. ^^ The friendship between Misono, Arisa and Sasaki is really precious (their dance at the last episode is one of the cutest things I've ever watched <3). Also the show makes me want to visit the other chain restaurants I haven't tried visiting yet once I get the chance to come back to Japan.
I'm not sure if I'm relieved or not that Akkun's reaction to the "misunderstanding" was toned down here compared to the manga. XD; On one hand, it means less hate towards Akkun for the entire week until the next episode lol, but on the other hand, in the manga it's one of the major reasons why Aoki couldn't tell Ida right away that he actually already likes him since he was also worried about making Akkun uncomfortable. And I also liked that part in the manga when Aoki said Akkun's reaction was "normal" and Akkun said "then, what 's normal was wrong". I hope this line will still make it to the drama despite the changes made in Akkun and Aoki's previous conversation because it really resonated with me!
On another note, the change with Mametaro being in the room instead of outside the house was pure genius because his reactions are priceless!! XD
So did Hajime really kill Kaoru and Yuma too?? Also if Kaoru didn't intend to harm anyone, why did he have to…
Yeah, I guess the real intention is leave it to our imagination who killed Yuma and Kaoru, but I'm still annoyed that it wasn't revealed because of course I watched until the end to know who killed who lol. XD Although I agree that the possibility of Rei killing Yuma and Kaoru is high and that Hajime just started killing the others because they keep on suspecting him (which I think is the trigger for him).
Hahaha yes, I'm just gonna convince myself that Hajime is indeed in love with Rei since even though Rina is still alive, he said if Rei is not around he'll be alone again. And he totally let his guard down when Rei hugged him as if it's just really what he has been waiting for lol.
I watched this for Suzuki Jin but honestly the film didn't make much sense to me??? I'm not sure if there's supposed to be a deeper meaning in this film and I'm just too dumb to understand it but yeah, I didn't really get what the film is trying to convey. Too bad because I think the acting was great.
OK.... so I was not enlightened in the last episode at all??? Instead I just got more confused??? XD
So did Hajime really kill Kaoru and Yuma too?? Also if Kaoru didn't intend to harm anyone, why did he have to lock all the doors, shut off the elevator, etc (or was it something not done by him)?? And why does he know everyone's deepest secret?? O__o And what is Rei's secret? Is it something Hajime really knows so he killed him (also Rei seems to have been a psycho since childhood)?
And more importantly, I wanted to know if Hajime is in love with Rei LOL!!! I'm quite sure though that he's not in love with Rina because that forehead kiss screams platonic to me, like he's just really thankful that Rina still believes in him.
(Also by the end of episode 3, we had that scene of Hajime and Rei talking and when Rei was about to leave, Hajime stopped him and they dramatically stared at each other.... so what happened to that??? XD)
I'm not sure if the writer really intended to be this vague but quite disappointed that there are a lot of unexplained things. orz
Thank youuu!! By the way torrent for episode 6 is now available, normally I'd watch the raw despite barely understanding…
Thank you for your efforts!! <3 The subs work perfectly on my end! Perhaps just one correction though... I only understand very little Japanese but in episode 4, I'm fairly sure that Hajime's ID indicates his new full name (氏名) as "Ohno Kota" (小野幸太), showing that he indeed changed his name/identity after he killing someone, instead of "Ohno City".
imo they hinted quite a bit just by the actress’ acting when Akkun is around. the part when they were taking…
Ah yes!! Noticed that scene in the picture-taking too, also her reaction when Akkun told her he'll walk her home, I thought those scenes kinda make it a bit obvious already that she likes him, unlike the very tiny hints in the manga which were barely noticeable (and something you can totally connect to Ida as well). XD
And yeah, in the manga the excuse to make Ida the prince was kind of for comedic purposes only so I guess it's a plus point in the drama that there's really no choice but to make Ida the prince. XD
I legit lol'd at the scene of Akkun being a mob aristocrat (as his actor calls it) but I think him being one of the actors in the play instead of being officially part of the props team kinda takes away one of the biggest foreshadowing about Hashimoto liking him. In the manga, Akkun's real name was already mentioned in chapter 3 (albeit in a very very subtle manner) when they were calling the people who will do the props and then soon we could see Hashimoto frantically volunteering to be a part of it too. So I'm sure she volunteered to be able to spend time with Akkun. All those little hints of Hashimoto liking Akkun are some of the things I looked for right away after the "big twist" so I thought it would have been great if they were shown accurately in the drama too because all those hints made me go "aaaah I didn't notice it at all but everything makes sense!". Although I can understand if the drama deliberately made that change so viewers won't catch on that right away (since it might be more noticeable when watching it than when reading the manga, also so it'd be easier to be left with no choice but to make Ida the prince??). Anyway, I can't wait for episode 3!! XD
My favorite character in the manga is Ida but Suzuki Jin's Akkun is so endearingly annoying, he makes me more interested in Akkun in this version lol. XD
I think it's amazing that he can be like an entirely different person depending on his hairstyle. XD Looking forward to his future works, he stole my heart in Given, I totally want to adopt him as my son now lol.

Thank youuu!! By the way torrent for episode 6 is now available, normally I'd watch the raw despite barely understanding anything but for this case I'll wait for your subs to enjoy the experience to the fullest, haha! Thanks for your hard work!
Do you mean IG account of the main actors (Ida and Aoki) or of the drama? If it's the drama they have it at oshidora_ex.
Oh I see!! Yeah, I think Johnny's Entertainment (the two main actors' agency) still doesn't allow their talents to have their individual SNS so I guess that's kinda impossible for now. I have followed Akkun's actor's IG though after I fell in love with him in another drama haha! XD
