I don't think that the steamy scenes can be considered "sex scenes"? I mean, before watching the movie, I saw someone here said that there are "too many kiss scenes" so I was expecting it to be *many* but there really wasn't much?? lol Don't get me wrong, I love HiraKiyo so much that I'd be happy with a movie with just them staring at each other, but since someone said there were "many" kiss scenes, I kind of mentally prepared myself for it (and lowkey looked forward to it hihi) only to be disappointed(?) in the end because there was actually only one legit kiss scene. XD
So what I'm trying to say is, if anyone who hasn't watched the movie yet is reading comments in this page, please don't expect any sex scenes haha!
They really make me fall in love further with Riku with this one and making my hand fetish worse. 😂 (Also the relationship between Tsukuyomi and his brother is so intriguing 👀) I hope someone will be able to sub this~~ 🥺
I watched the movie 7 times in Japan (for one week lol) and never got tired of it! I hope BD/DVD gets released soon, or that it will be released in many other areas (I think it was released in Taiwan and will be released in Vietnam??) so more and more people can watch this amazing piece of work which was obviously made not just for profit but for the sake of giving what the fans have been wanting and hoping for. 🐥👑

I think doing the kiss scenes that way in S1 was more of a director's (or could even be producer's) choice than it being YuseRiku "refusing to kiss" (I mean they managed to have Riku suck Yusei's middle finger, those two especially Riku couldn't have refused anything lol) so I thought that review was very unfair to them. But yeah, the S2 kiss scene became so shocking because we didn't see it coming "that way' haha! 😆
I remember someone leaving a review in S1 where they rated "acting/cast" with 1 star because they thought YuseRiku "refused to kiss" (ngl, I got a bit confused if what kind of kiss they were expecting because HiraKiyo *did* kiss in S1) and even said something about it being "homophobic" and now I kinda want to get back to that person and send the HiraKiyo kiss scene in S2's last episode. 😂 Because seriously, I can't stop watching the kiss scene everday, heeeeelp!
I think he actually swallows twice. Once before the kiss and once after.
I think it was intended to be noticeable given how quiet the entire scene is. I think director Mai loves highlighting realistic sounds like this (one specific scene I can think of in season 1 is in ep3 when Hira clasped Kiyoi's hand before he kissed it, you can clearly hear the sound as if they really want you to hear it). Same with Hi Bye, I found it hot and erotic lol.
Some people be really expecting Hira to magically gain more confidence or self-esteem just because he spent a few years with Kiyoi when I'm still always very nervous to order food in restaurants and would always ask someone to do it for me if possible even after existing for more than 30 years already (but reading such comments makes me feel thankful that people around me are patient with me instead of pushing me to be more confident, etc.) 😭
People just want reasons to hate tbh. I even saw someone saying that they dislike this season because Kiyoi didn't…
For real, I'm always amazed with how much UtsuKare delivers with just few episodes so I wonder what other kinds of "development" some people are expecting from a drama with 4 episodes of only around 25mins each (plus there's a movie coming up so there should be enough plot for the movie)? 😂 Makes me also curious about what they'd think of some dramas with more than 10eps + 50mins each wherein by the final episode nothing really significant happened (I watched some unfortunately haha)??? 😂
I don't get people saying they got bored due to "lack of development" because I think I can watch HiraKiyo just staring at each other for 100 more episodes without getting bored??? 😭😭😭
