I enjoyed this. The leads are wonderful and have great chemistry. I am not as enamored with the kid as much as others here. He is cute enough, but his poor acting, the way he always called his mum by her name and the lines he had that would never be said by a kid his age all combined to take me out of the scenes he was in. Luckily he shared most of the scenes with the leads who both were wonderful.

Did not like the Doctor though, but then i never like this kind of spidery 2mls. Characters who pretend to be friends when that is not what they want. Characters who like to weave threads of obligation and entitlement around their target.

Also the Business the FL works for is weird. And I am not sure why the fl (or her best friend) are still working there with such a sexist culture encouraged by the boss.

Liang Jie is one of my favourite actresses. And on top of that i really like her dramas, so i had free time recently and decided to watch this drama again. I forgot about the ending. Once again i enjoyed the ride until the damn ending hit like a ton of bricks.

That ending is a massive downside. I think they were going for a twist ending but they instead gave a wtf ending.

i am one episode in, and i want to report the fl's parents to child services. How can they let a girl with the brain function of a 5 year old fly to another city alone. And the friend knows the FL has the brain of a 5 year old,. yet she still leaves her alone with him.

Seriously, both leads are awful in the first episode. The FL is a certified moron and the ml is an arrogant entitled jerk.

Everyone is going on about the ML's looks, yet his character is absolutely awful. He is obnoxious, entitled, selfish and just plain unlikeable.

China goes big for pseudo-incest. In fact the Chinese practice of adopting baby-girls to be the eventual wife of their sons is the poster-child for the Westermark Effect

I have not finished it yet, BUT i can accept him as the toxic villain since the 2fl (who usually tends to be the villain in these type of dramas) was wonderful. Finally a CEO type has a nice female childhood friend.

So only three episodes in so far and i am loving the 2fl ( i think she is the 2fl). She is the childhood friend of the ML and they have a close working relationship. Usually this type of girl is a villainess in love with ml and feels she is entitled to him. Here in a refreshing twist, she is a friendly woman who likes the FL and expressed in the first episode rather bluntly, that she does not want people to mistakenly think she is in a relationship with the ml.

And the ML is not your traditional cold CEO. Sure he is a workaholic but he is extremely patient with the FL.

I like Young Seo but Sung Hoon is a charisma vacuum. He has the exact same facial expression in all his dramas. Maybe he suffers from facial paralysis or something.

I know Chinese dramas love this terrible trope of the ml manipulating fl's so they can force fls to let them into the fl's house, or force the fl to live in their house (Love is Sweet) but it is NOT romantic. It is icky skeevy & sleezy. And the ML is never really held to account for these actions.

so where are the 2022 Dramas? This is a list of 60% Release Date Unknown Shows and 40 % 2023 dramas. There are only 2 2022 Dramas. The list name and contents do not match at all.

yeah, though re-reading their post i think your interpretation is probably the more accurate. But for me, a romance (or a close sibling bond) between the main leads only helps improve a thriller drama.

That may have been his point. i know for me a 'barely there romance" is as a huge downside
