I mean you're completely right, we cant stop ppl from saying whatever they want to say. Its not our right to. But at the same time, seeing such negative and sometimes mean comments is truly disheartening..

Hi moni, thank you so much! Woah.. I totally understand why they needed translations for their lines, especially seo in guk because his character talks a lot in riddles and metaphors. This just leaves me more in awe of their acting because despite how hard the dialogues are, the actors still transmit the emotions very well. While watching yesterday's episode, I found myself entranced by the lead's acting. They were just looking at each other without saying anything but I felt like they were having a conversation with their eyes and I could feel what they were feeling. This drama really has top-tier acting, that's for sure. The ambiguity of their lines is one of the things that pull me in. I'm here making theories after theories about what they might mean, and it's fun (to me).

About the second lead, I have absolutely no clue how the writer is going to intertwine their story with the one of doom but I am super excited to find out. About the theory, could you send it to me? Now I'm curious lmao :D

Yesterday I was a little bit outraged with some negative comments towards this drama, but after some thinking now I understand them (some of them tho, not all. some ppl's comments here are just mean). Cuz the screenwriter didn't write this story thinking that most people just want to watch dramas/tv shows etc. to shut their brain for a little bit. People don't want to watch something that requires so much thinking to try to understand the double and triple meanings. It's okay to not like the drama, but it's not okay (in my opinion) to come here just to leave mean comments left and right - particularly if said person has said they are thinking of dropping it (this were the kind of comments that left me so outraged). If you're not content with this drama just watch another one. There are soooo many out there. It's totally fine to not like something and drop it. I do that all the time. I completely understand some of the complaints. However, I still don't agree with some saying the writer and the script are badly written. I think the complete opposite, actually. But maybe this kind of story would be more successful if it was a book instead of a show. This is just my point of view. Nevertheless, I do have to agree with you that DAYS is becoming a top-tier drama. For me, DAYS is sitting at the same lunch table as Goblin and Hotel de Luna lmao

I guess everyone is on the same page about the second leads story. Let's have hope for the writer tho. I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt. This drama takes on a more symbolic and philosophical approach so every little thing has a meaning behind it. I really don't think the second leads story is going to be independent to the main story because every episode we slowly put the puzzle pieces together with the new information they give us, and the love triangle story is just another puzzle piece that we have to wait and see how it will fit next to the other pieces. We're in the secondary half of this drama so lets hope we will soon find out how the writer, the editor and the café guy story fits with doom and tdk. If you want to drop this drama it's okay. This one wasnt your cup of tea and that's fine. There's always others dramas to watch, and i hope you find something you really like! But if you're still thinking about giving DAYS one more opportunity, please keep an open mind and be patient cuz surely they will reveal more soon. With that said, happy watching! The beginning, i felt so sad for doom cuz imagine living like that. But just like he realized at the end of the episode, i was emotional cuz he has been acting more human. And that's all because of her. She brings it out for him- all these human emotions and actions. I was expecting that Doom was gonna d word but wtfgqhwjqkq I thought the d-day think was for her not for him!!!-$)2&1 now everything is making so much sense.. now I understand the deity's cryptic words... it was about doom all along... im- i dont know how to cope with this information. Another thing is that i was kinda of hating the deity but after this episode i cant, I can only pity her.About the love triangle, well- shit hit the fan cuz the café guy knows/ suspects the other one has a thing for the writer. I honestly ship her more with cha joo ik cuz the café guy kinda annoys me. He's not a bad guy but the justification for the breakup is so ??? yeah he was young back then but that's not a good reason and not to talk about that even tho he was young, he wasn't THAT young. He was mature enough to know how to breakup with a person, or at least own up to it now. Although i ship her more with the other one i still think she shouldn't end with any of them. That said, im so excited for tomorrow's episode and I can't wait to see how they will unravel this knew information about what's going to happen with Doom, and how that's going to affect the main leads relationship.

i dont see people that are criticizing as "haters" but simply dont understand /why/ so much negativity towards this drama.
about the fluff, i do see a lot of fluff actually but its subdued compared to a "normal" korean drama. I think people are forgetting that this drama is basically an enemies-to-lovers so the push and pull is necessary in this kind of plot thematic.
And about the symbolism and philosophical undertones, I absolutely freaking love they are doing it cuz contrary to some comments calling this drama empty, it brings so much material to the drama and like you said it helps understanding the characters better. One thing that i have realized, and I'm not hating on people (what im about to say is totally okay, i am like that sometimes as well) is that people dont like heavy symbolism in dramas cuz they dont have the patience to sit for an hour and focus only on the drama to understand it. And i think that's why people arent so into it. But again, its totally okay and I understand it. I just- I think people are just over criticizing this drama without necessity.
