LOL at your review of Devil Beside You. I dropped it after the famous 15 minutes, hahahaha. Thank you for confirming I should never pick it up again. ;)
How could I miss this article? :D
Hahahaha, so wonderfully hilarious and deliciously wicked.
I'd say my favourite hero's the traumatized-sexy one, but let's face it, that's because you chose Binnie, the sexiest man on earth, to represent the category.
Therefore, I'll have a mixture of the trauma and the alpha hero. Shota-kun's got nothing to do with my choice. Obviously.
P.S. I wrote all this playing the dramatic hero music in the background. LOL
Kenshin all the way!! Hands down, not only the movie is a blast, the character is. And the fighting scenes are amazing.
I'm truly sorry for his fans, but I reassert Marble Prince Lee Min Ho is a pretty bloke but way too preoccupied with his looks, even in the fighting scenes. He always look as though filming has been stopped every other minute in order for the make up artist to re-do whatever make-up spot or hair out of place.
I place the Eye Candy boys second, their fighting was just so raw and felt incredibly real - like the whole drama, by the way.
When I see him I'm always reminded of the double date in Nobuta, LOL.
Very cute. :D
Happy Birthday! :)

Lately I've been going through a renewed Yamapi hunt phase and re-watched everything he has done. He holds a special place in my heart too (ot perhaps it's not exactly the heart but some other organ... no matter).:P
Therefore: great avatar. ;):D
Wow, finally someone actually mentioning Perhaps Love, an all time favourite of mine. A truly beautiful movie,…
Hahahaha, your twin and her mischievous gifs, lol. ;)
Let her try, loyalty is a rare gem nowadays, although I admit at having had a few crushes myself in between...
I'm not soooooooooo eager to see my beloved in a saeguk, to be honest. I'm not a fan of those. :(

LOL, Aryael, your secret is finally in the open. And who can blame you for choosing such a specimen? I mean, the man is so near perfection it's almost frightening. ;)
But I suppose I shouldn't talk like this about your husband... O.O
*runs and hides*
Wow, finally someone actually mentioning Perhaps Love, an all time favourite of mine. A truly beautiful movie, amazingly acted. :)
I liked Paradise Kiss too, despite the general bad reception it got from the lovers of the manga/anime. It's a very enjoyable romantic comedy.
On the other hand, I hated He was Cool, I think it's a grossly overrated movie with slapstick humour, poor acting and cheesy romance. But that's me.
Great article, interesting info, amazing actor. :D
Just one thing: I don't think Stand Up should be labelled as improper for under 17. Nothing improper is shown, it's only talk, and even that in a mostly light, funny way.
First of all: no subs are available anywhere.
Second: for all the fans of Renn, he barely appears in this movie.
The movie is actually a shortened version of chapters 2 and 3 of the drama with a surprise finale.
For reason unknown, they have decided to cut out the first chapter, the one with Kiriyama and Ryoko Kobayashi. Grrrr... >.<

1. Of course you will find us all at the Cafe. We may not be all gathered all the time and perhaps replies will take some time, but the Pretties' is a sacred place where we will always gather. :)
2. I'm not so sure the things that are holding you back are so unimportant. Perhaps you see them that way, but they hold some other significance. Whatever that is, your wish you were Cleopatra doesn't seem the perfect one to solve the problem, given how her adventure ended.
I wish you'd find a different role model. LOL

So here I come, my dear.:D
I'm sorry to hear you're often tired, but I can't say I'm surprised. Being a mum must be the hardest job of all, albeit full of rewards.
Like you say, it's funny how so many of us went through a drama slump at the same time. As half mentioned in our replies to the all korean article on the main page, part of my slump was due to K-dramas. Perhaps I simply fell into the wrong traps, aka melodramas, or I was just in need of a break; whatever the reason, the result has been an almost complete refusal of asian dramas. My love was, once again, restored by Japanese dramas. I lately completed osozaki no himawari and absolutely loved it. I also did a lot of rewatching and, as by magic, I was thrown back into the enchanted bubble. lol
Biya, I CANNOT think of you without thinking of Nutella too. Rita shock!O.O *read with same intonation as Akira in Nobuta*
LOL
I think availability also has a negative impact on the amount of people who watch and rave about Jdramas and Tdramas.…
Sadly, I agree with you that there must be a higher demand of subbed k-dramas at the moment, which results in some very good J shows being totally neglected, or subbed at a very slow speed.
I'd say this is nobody's fault, but I can see how the issue becomes a neverneding circle: less demand -> less subs -> less viewers -> less demand.
Again, I think it's a true pity. :(
I hope you won't be offended in any way if I confess I don't agree with a single word of this article. One of the reasons why you won't see many people declaring they prefer J-dramas is that the hallyu wave has had a true tsunami effect, washing away with its glamour and, at times, pomp, every protest or example to a contrary view. We do exist, however, and while I simply love some K-dramas I still prefer J ones in general. So you see, either I'm the exception that confirms the rule, or I break it.
As for the kisses, rest assured: for every sweet and unsatisfactory peck in a Japanese drama there is another just as unsatisfying in a K-drama. You're Beautiful, since you mentioned it, is glaring proof that rotating the camera around two paralized people as if caught in a typhoon won't make the kiss any better.
Once again, forgive me if I'm too direct. This is not a critic to your taste. :)
hahahaha, Lumi, I liked NONE of the dramas you mentioned - with the exception of those I haven't watched nor I intend to - therefore I was rooting for your Brain! *insert wicked smirk*.
This said, I've lately sit through a whole drama without subtitles for the sake of an actor and have watched some truly horrid things simply staring at the guy and imagining he was saying something different from the script. LOL
You'll soon find out that, far from being alone, you are sorrounded by a sympathetic crowd. ;)

They'll need to shoot me to stop me from watching this.
