Am I the only one who finds this drama a little overrated? I mean, I liked it, but not one of my all-time favorites…
You're not the only one. It thrilled me while watching, but it was forgotten soon after. In short, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me, for some reason.
Other dramas with a lower budget and cheaper production touched me deeper.

Don't worry for replying late, my friend. I'm the queen of late, I can only empathise. ;)
And I totally agree with you: Japanese drama is a different experience, something that can't even be explained with words. Japan kept its unicity without having to comform to western standards. I admire that. :D

Last Cinderella is what it promises to be: a light, entertaining and sexy rom-com. I gave it a 9 not because I consider it a masterpiece, but because in its genre it fulfills all the required aspects: comedy and romance in equal measure.
Though I'm not necessarily a fan of romantic comedies, I think LC is perfect for the summer and the fun. :)
Thank you for the link of Summer Nude! :D
The pure eye pleasure that is Yamapi... *insert sigh* ;)
Thank you for this beautiful article, Lumi! :) I love instrumental pieces and I'm so glad you didn't forget to…
I totally agree with you: that Ost is wonderful as a whole and I'd say it is another "character" of the drama. Every piece spoke to me long after I had watched the drama. While many shows have good soundtracks, not all have this haunting quality. :)
P.S. My man's really cool, he doesn't even need to be drama educated. LOL ;););)
P.P.S. Not lying: right now my I-tunes is randomly playing Sad Sky from K2H... ah, my heart...
Thank you for this beautiful article, Lumi! :)
I love instrumental pieces and I'm so glad you didn't forget to mention at least one piece from King 2 Hearts: Hang Ah's dream is a haunting piece of music. Figure my man decided to watch the drama because he heard the ost I had downloaded.
Like you rightly say, we can never have enough of great music. :D
This thing must have the most ridiculous synopsis ever. Besides being so little informative, they managed to produce a grammar horror with only 2 lines... :P
Wow, you're doing an amazing job here. :D
I'm not even watching the drama, but I couldn't not notice your recaps and admire your hard work.
I hope at least your're enjoying the drama? :)
why is it that, every time I watch a drama starring Yan Jerry , I end up wanting to rewatch Meteor Garden again...
LOL, I wish I could watch Jerry Yan without having to watch dramas like this one. I tried episode 1 and had to contain my yawns. Basically, it took me half a day to complete 1 episode, at which point I thought perhaps I'd better drop it. :P
And so I re-watched Meteor Garden and Down With Love. LOL

I know 1 litre of tears is a classic and I know it is widely considered one of the best out there, I just find it hard to go into a drama already knowing almost everything about it. Since I let so much time pass, I couldn't help but stumble upon discussions, screenshots, reviews, fanvideos... basically, it's as though I had watched the drama fastforwarding here and there.
I may pick it up one day, just for the sake of the narrative style and the acting, which I imagine being superb. :)
As for Tatta, if you were not enthusiastic with the first episode, I suggest to simply let it be. The first episode of that drama sets pace and style, so that you know from the beginning if you're going to like it or not. :)
LOL, you should see the list of some of my older contacts... mine pales in comparison. So better leave the sempai for some other veteran, this time. ;)

I also see that you've never watched Tatta Hitotsu No Koi. Whenever you wish for a sweet love story, try it out. It's one of my all time favourites. :)
Since we are at it, have you got any soggestion for me? :D(Please, everything but Itazura Na kiss, hate the idea of a mop girl... AGAIN)

I'm in a Japanese mood too, lately, perhaps because the last Korean things I watched were melodramas and I'm truly fed up of those.
As for recommendations... I don't know if my taste really suits you, however I'd say:
- Nagareboshi, if you are in the mood for something emotionally charged but slow building, with love story attached.
- Osozaki no Himawari, if you like slices of life dramas, simple stories of friendship and love in a beautiful frame of rural Japan
- Hungry, if you are in the mood for pure entertainment, laughter and good food
- Zenkai Girl, if you're a fan of Aragaki Yui and want to follow her in this quite unconventional story of a cinical girl who very slowly learns to love (personally I loved it, but many didn't)
- Don Quixote, if you want to laugh hard while thinking just as hard.

Thank you for accepting it. :D
Hahahahaha, exceptionally, you are allowed to say ottoke in my presence, lol. ;););)
What I actually hate about that word is the contest in which it's usually inserted: the average stupid Korean heroine who doesn't know where North or South are, or has just been kissed (with her eyes wide open and a total paralysis) and doesn't know where to go from there. :P

I don't know about the subs, I suppose we won't be able to have them before the middle of next week, if the subbing speed of the other episodes are anything to go by.
Hahaha, indeed, there are some clever funny parts in this drama too. Pyon Pyon is definitely one. And what about Sorai deciding that 2 seconds are very short, after all? :D
Gosh, I just watched episode 10 (at first I wanted to wait, but in the end I couldn't resist). I'm all tearly eyed! You are right: Japanese have this ability. Not to mention how emotionally intense they can be without ever becoming melo or pathetic.
Ahhh, apparently the last episode will be an extended special. I can't wait... and at the same time don't want to see it end.
Bwaahaha.
Actually, it's me who's pathetic now, lol

Ohhhh, thank you Meili.:)
It's a true pity not many people are watching this drama, I think it deserves to be watched and appreciated for its courage and delicacy alone. I see you recommend it in your profile: good move. :D
Do you know when episode 11 will be available to watch? Not that I'm eager to see this story end: on the contrary, I already know I will be very sad to see these people go... :(

Welcome, and thank you for sending it! :D
By the way, around here I'm known as the "tree lady", as I usually have one in my avatar. This time I decided to add a human, just in case someone started thinking I'm a vegetable... :P
