Is this really romantic like Masters sun? Is it even worth watching???
If you're looking for romance, this drama is probably not for you. There's romance but it is extremely slow burn and there isn't much skinship. It's mainly about subtly caring for each other in daily life. It's not the in-your-face type of romance like Master's Sun.

Unless I'm somehow mistaken (correct me if I am wrong because I hope I am) then this drama doesn't deserve the…
My thoughts exactly!!! This disturbs me a WHOLE LOT and is the reason why I cannot get into season 2 at all. I will just assume season 1 ending is the real ending, and forget that season 2 ever existed.

This is the first time ever i feel confused about what score to give a drama. I have very mixed feelings and opinions…
You took the words right out of my mouth! Had the same feeling when I watched this back then. There was just something missing about it, maybe it's the lack of chemistry, or the lackluster plot, idk. The only pro was the iconic characters and some of the comedy scenes.
On Full House Sep 12, 2019
The ending was so unsatisfying given that there was such a loooong ass buildup to their relationship. The tension and angst that lasted for 16 episodes didn't pay off that well when it finally bursted. Wish there were more sweet couple moments to balance off all that yelling lol

Title Vagabond
I love Suzy but tbh she does not look believable as a special agent at all. Her figure is too small and non-muscular for a person who received vigorous training in combat and other things.

Title Devilish Joy
I really liked the cheesy romantic scenes and the realistic kisses, but the plot was so slow and nothing really happened. The only development happened in the last 3 episodes.

Will rewatch only to see the OTP couple moments.

Enjoying this a lot more than expected! I was skeptical at first because four couples seemed like too much, but they're interesting in their own ways. The main pairing still has the most screen time, while the lawyer couple are also entertaining to watch.

Yeah just wanna let you know you're not the only one. I'm a huge fan of fantasy/supernatural romances but I didn't enjoy this drama as much as I thought I would either. So it's probably not the genre that's the problem, but the fact that this drama isn't for everyone. Hope you don't give up on the fantasy romance genre because of this XD
On Hotel del Luna Sep 7, 2019
It's taking me way too long to finish this. I'm not even interested in watching the last few episodes, because I'm no longer invested in the characters. There were too many filler ghost stories that dragged on the plot. Even the story about Man Wol's past became boring as time went by. The only thing I liked about this drama was Man Wol's character and clothes, and probably the gorgeous cinematography, but everything else was meh. This is nowhere close to the Hong Sisters' previous works.

I guess I'm in the minority maybe it's because I had such huge expectations but im nearing the end slowly but…
I don't think you're the minority. What you said is similar to the top voted review, and it's top voted for a reason. I believe a lot of people actually found the drama to be lukewarm, they just didn't comment. Most of the people who comment here often are those who loved the drama.

I loved so much those 2 mangas , those are some of my favorite, happy that you mentionned it!
I loved those two mangas too!! I'm super glad that there's finally a drama with a similar story. Will binge this after it airs more episodes

After reading the text messages that Dispatch revealed, I sympathize with both of them and at the same time I think both of them are wrong. Ku was wrong for revealing their private matters to the public and tarnishing his husband's and Oh Yeon Seo's image without amy factual evidence, which amounts to defamation. She was also wrong for lashing out due to insecurity and trust issues, and it was ironic that she was the person who destroyed their career and made her parents sad even though she said she didn't want to divorce because she was afraid her image would be ruined and her parents would be hurt. She also asked Ahn to pay her 100 million won as compensation for everything she did for him (housework, renovations, etc.) even though Ahn had no money. He ended up having negative balance afterwards. That was very petty and inconsiderate of her. She also completely ruined his career and it was too much. Even jf Ahn wasn't a good husband he doesn't deserve to have his whole life run over.

Ahn, on the other hand, was wrong for disregarding his wife's feelings and not communicating with her properly. He was partially responsible for driving his wife to paranoia. He didn't maintain enough contact with his wife after he moved out to Seoul to focus on his career, and her wife had to learn about what he was doing through other people. He also did not help out with the chores enough or take care of the pets properly while he was still living with her, and often did not inform her his whereabouts and came back drunk at late night. He was also disrespectful for bringing a director home for a meeting at 3am without asking his wife first. And he didn't even try to compromise after his wife expressed her sadness so many times. I would be furious too if I was the wife. It doesn't justify her reckless and manipulative behaviour, but she was obviously hurt and he wasn't a good husband to her.

It takes two hands to clap so they were both wrong with Ku being the more hateful party which is what drove her to revenge. I don't agree with this revenge (unless she's being completely honest and has facts to support her accusations that Ahn had cheated on her, but she doesn't so it's dishonesty. If I were her I'd just let go of this man who doesn't know to love her properly instead of doing cruel things out of hate.

HELPwithout spoilershow do you rank Hotel del Luna from all Hong sister drama? is it the best? is it the worst?…
It really depends on your preferences. I'm a huge fan of classic dramas (because I experienced the hallyu wave first-hand in Asia when I was in middle school), so I really love You're Beautiful, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and My Girl, and they're pretty much irreplaceable to me. Master's Sun had a similar ghost theme and storytelling structure as Hotel del Luna, but I liked Master's Sun much more. HDL fell flat to me compared to the rest of their works, although it's still one of the best dramas this year.

The problem I had with HDL (and sometimes Master's Sun) was the uninteresting mini side stories that took up 80% of each episode. I'm only interested in the main plot but they don't talk about it often. Generally I only enjoyed Hong Sisters' dramas that only focused on a central plot.

This is such an interesting article being that it's about why you should write an article, haha
I've written a few articles but recently I don't have any good ideas. I'll def start writing again once I think of a topic to work on.
On Love Through a Millennium Sep 2, 2019
This one had it's unique charms, but I liked the Korean version more because it was more condensed. This version got a bit draggy and repetitive after ep.14. It would've been much better if it was shorter. The chemistry was quite good tho!

Edit: What's with that ending??? It was so rushed and a big chunk of it was slideshow stills + voiceover narration by the leads... did the screenwriters suddenly decide to quit?

I also liked the previous one a lot more, but I think MDL admins choose posters based on the amount of people…
For some reason they changed it back
