I never really finished this. Dropped it at ep.13 and watched the remaining lovey dovey scenes on Youtube. The plot was non-existent after ep.14 and they relied on the romance as fillers. Same problem as WWWSK, but a bit better in terms of plot. Would say it is just an enhanced version of WWWSK with a better ML and a more mature relationship but everything else fell flat.
I watched the first 2 episodes and got hooked. I never watch workplace politics dramas and I usually find them boring, but this one was an exception. The script is cleverly written, the characters are mostly strong independent female leads which is rare in K-dramaland, and the plot is gripping with no fillers at all. I don't see any noticeable cons at least in the episodes I watched. It was a really strong start and judging by the ratings here, it seems the quality is maintainable.
I feel like Song Hye Kyo was desperate to get married fast because she's going into a more mature age and her previous relationships were disastrous. Like, if she wants to have children, getting married before she turns 40 is important. But then the problem is, nothing is ideal, including marriage. Really sympathize with her ups and downs in her relationship life, and hope she can fulfill her dream in finding her lifetime partner.
I've seen other people talking about this as well but I need to rant ,even though I really like watching this…
True story. I've had a bad feeling since the start of this drama because they kept showing MWJ showering shirtless, doing cool jacket flips and being charismatic on screen, which is a huge red flag for character bias by the PD. He got so many more scenes compared to YG but all it did was gain hate. Honestly this had so much potential but his character is ruining it. If they don't cut his parts out imma fly to Korea and cut them myself.
Idk it’s cliche filled for me: started with an accidental kiss (-.- to activate a robot, you kiss him? Really?…
I agree with the acting part. think Yoo Jin Go is still a bit lacking in his acting compartment. It's not that he's bad, but a robot role might be too difficult for him. And he falls flat compared to the other characters too.

The JP one was nice, but I was disappointed in the lack of romance. The FL only reciprocated the love near the end of the drama, which I never got over for years, so this KR version with accelerated romance is like a wish come true for me.

I also think MDL users are too lenient when giving scores. They easily give high scores even to dramas that they criticize, which causes inflation on MDL ratings. That's why there is a general consensus that everything below 8.0 on MDL is pretty bad.

I can see your point, but then most k-dramas have cliches in them and some would still get an above 8.5 rating even with many noticeable cliches. This drama is based on a manga from 2005, so cliches are unavoidable, but it still did a decent job given the source material. There were a lot of ridiculous moments in the manga and in the TW and JP versions that were rewritten and improved in this version.
And don't even get me started on the Japanese ending and special!! .\_/.
