I completely agree with you. This is a cute romcom to watch for someone who is craving for some cute romance and a ML to drool over, but aside from that there's nothing much about it. The weird thing is, WWWSK was similar and I dropped that one, but I managed to keep watching this one because of the emotional appeal and chemistry.

I hate how there are like gazillion different arcs happening at the same time and they keep alternating between each one causing everything to progress too slowly. Just found out there were originally 90 episodes, luckily they shortened it to 65 but it's still way too draggy. Will try to finish this for Deng Lun :/

I surely hope the going back and forth doesn't happen too much, although it's quite understandable since 09 is a robot and there's a social and moral barrier about being with a robot. Most of the story is basically about the FL struggling to acknowledge her feelings until it's too late, and it's also what I hate the most about the story.
Originally I felt that Ryan's backstory was not very interesting, but learning about the paintings was a heartfelt and impactful process. Like the short subplot about the photographer living alone on the mountain, seeing through the true meaning of an art piece and the feelings and memories that they may hold is such a sincere and awe-inspiring moment of revelation. This drama isn't just your average rom-com full of lovey dovey moments, it also tries to bring out the beauty and humanity of art through the little side stories. I also resonate a lot with Ryan's personality and that makes the drama more enjoyable. Maybe we have the same MBTI or sth idk.
I'm one of those people who don't want her to get back with Ma Wang Joon. Honestly can't stand guys who ask for a break up and then continue to butt into their ex's relationship affairs. Like really? You gave up on them first but they can't be with someone else? He's just really selfish honestly. He was too afraid to admit his relationship at the peak of his career, so he cut ties, and despite realizing his anti fans are gonna harm the girl if he's with her, he still wants to get back with her. Yeah I agree with you, he/she is obviously a big fan of Shin Hye Sun (seen him/her a lot in SHS's drama's comment sections) and, while it's ok to like a certain actress's dramas and acting, going to another drama's page just to promote their drama by comparing it to the other drama is just off-putting.
