When LSS ascend to become Goddess, Why does TTJ also changed into white God clothing? Is he also ascended to become…
I think the white clothing is just a metaphore. After becoming a goddess, Li Susu has the ability to know everthing, including Tantai Jin's true intention. So, she brought him to the farthest realm where All Distress Array cannot reach. In this place, they can talk heart to heart without being disturbed by outer persona and prejudice. Black is only Tantai Jin outer appearance, but in reality, he has a pure and brave heart. In this place, all inside is finally out. Tantai Jin's pure heart is revealed though this white clothing.
I've been watching wuxia and xianxia for 10+ years, and I'd say there's roughly two happy endings for every sad…
I think this unsatisfactory ending comes up with the inherent mechanism to solve the cosmic conflict in the story (Demon God versus Gods and immortals). Desperate times call for desperate measures. The Demon God is too powerful and the All Distress Array becomes the unbeatable final weapon to annihilate every living being. For such extremes, it would be illogical if it can be solved so easily. Logically speaking, TTJ self sacrifice is needed resulting in his death.
We wish there still a way out for him to be alive. However, the world where the story takes place is the world where even gods and goddess can die (remember the downfall of 12 gods) and they can't be revived. So, even though in other xianxia revival/ rebirth is common solution to give happy ending despite all tragedies (e.g. in Love between Fairy and Devil, Legend of Fuyao, and Three Miles of Peach Blossom), that possibility is closed here. If the story force the revival of TTJ, it will open a giant plot hole. The inconsistency would make the story even worse.
To make it a happy ending thus depends mainly on our personal expectation and interpretation. The story itself is not bad, but how it tastes on us would definitely vary. This subjective experience is valid, but it cannot be used to judge overall story and the message it tries to convey otherwise it will be unfair.
I think it is not a tragedy. Tantai Jin is not succumbed to his flaws in the end of the story.
Not all sad stories is tragedy. It is tragic if it involves the main character fallen from good fortune to the bad one. Tantai Jin is unfortunate from the first place. He climbed the ladder and in the end got his freedom, attained his goals, and had a beautiful family even though he was not there.
It is a beautiful and good ending. It is not open; it is closed well. It is just people cannot accept that Tantai…
It depends on our definitions of happiness. For some people, it is a reunion with the loved ones. For others, it is an attainment of goals or tranquility and freedom in the end of life.
Tantai Jin doesn't get the first one, but get the later two. If we expect the first, we will get disappointed. If we broaden our view to other kind of happiness, we can be satisfied.
1. What ever happened to Gongye Jiwu? Last we saw he was unconscious and saved by Mo Nu. I want to know how he's…
1. Even though it is not showed, we can assume they live happily together. The world aftar Tantai Jin sacrifice himself is in peace where human, immortals, and demon can live together. 2. Even though it is not showed, we can assume that. Because her last act is saving Jiwu. It is a good thing. It is a foundation for other good things to happen. 3. We saw the tribe is freed in the end (including from their pact with Demon God). For what happened next, we can imagine they are okay. 4. She is a very little character in this story, plays small role in story progression. A story cannot tell about everybody in the story. 5. Some people here already explains the context (especially in episode 33). Even though it is not showed, it is understandable because episode limit. 6. It is not open ending. It is closed pretty well. It is just hard to accept that Tantai Jin died LITERALLY. Deep inside our heart, we wish he is revived and live happily ever after with his small family. But, killing a character is not that a bad thing when it is necessary to maintain the logic of the story. It is expected. It is better that "god ex machina" ending.

Controversial opinion but I don’t believe Li Susu actually loved Tantai Jin. Her delivery in the past few episode…
I agree with you. This scene is similar to a scene in LBFD where Orchid Fairy sacrificed herself to save Dongfang Qingcang. However, we aren't confused about her love, even though previously she got bad treatments. We know it as the act of love because her previous actions and words are solid. YXW's action can also be considered self-sacrifice and she experienced something bad, too. But, her actions and words are not coherent. Sometimes she love and support, sometimes she hate and betray, too openly. In my opinion, YXW has confused feeling. In the beginning, it is not either love nor hate. But, in the end, it is definitely hate. TTJ just sickly loves her one-sidedly. He was cheated.
Ok I really really would love it if someone can answer this question for me. I’m gonna tag it as a spoiler because…
Tang Lian's fake death is important for Xiao Se, Lei Wujie, Ye Ruoyi, dan Qianluo's character development. There are certain changes in their personality after his death. Tang Lian is the most reliable disciple of Xueyue City and the wisest among the group. When he was around, Qianluo always hid behind his back. After his death, Qian Luo trained harder and took more responsibilities. For Xiao Se, it makes him more mature; he thought more about others' well-being and safety. He thus was more willing to self-sacrifice rather than put his friends into risks. For Ye Ruoyi, she took responsibility to become Xiao Se's advisor, replacing Tang Lian.

2. Tantai Jin dies for Li Susu, or vice versa. So many xianxia end this way. Boring.
3. Anything happy ending. I want to shed tears of happiness in the end.
