idk about that. i’ve enjoyed every single episodes so far☺️ maybe you just don’t like the political issues…
Even though later episodes took place in palace, the main theme of TBOY is brotherhood and family, not the political struggle. It makes TBOY differs in better way from NIF. In NIF, after the issue solved, the ML cut his tie with his emperor uncle. The emperor just ended in regret. In TBOY, the regret is followed by restoration of family ties, between emperor as the father and his son, and the emperor with his deceased. brother.

I am disappointed she only gave this drama 1.5. For me it is the best among wuxia this year. But, I don't blame because she admitted it herself she didn't watch the donghua or read the novel. She needs more research before publishing her review, especially for drama which is generally perceived as very good by public. Go against public opinion would not be good.

The dog appears as the mascot of Tianqi city. You can find it in the episode where Xiao Se and friends went to lantern festival and Sikong Qianluo bought him the mascot (it is a doll, I think).
what the author should have done is have Qian Luo saving Xiao Se by herself more and make it as difficult as possible…
Yes, the build up is not strong enough. I think their romance starts in episode 8 when Xiao Se compliment her getting prettier. Qian Luo then has a kind of childish crush on him and pursue him everywhere. She is just a teenager.
THIS IS AWESOME!!! twist and plot are amazing specially that LWJ sword technique. INSULTING SWORD TECHNIQUE 😂😂😂…
Xiao Se is a character of suprise. This like when Xiao Se with Tang Lian gambling in Rui's city. At first he seemed like refusing, but in the end he accepted Tang Lian's 5 5 6 funnily.
