I feel the most disgusted, and I feel like throwing up, when I see the main male hero, whose life principle is,…
Up until episode 31, Zhuge Yue endured a lot, sacrificed a lot, and did a lot of awful things in the name of family and loyalty, you can't blame him for trying to run away with Chu Qiao and choosing to be happy just once.

True. Rebirth is worth watching and worth the wait. I thought I'm never gonna see the ending of Princess Agents, but they made an effort to continue the story, and though changes were made in Rebirth, I could still see and relate the plot and characters from PA. So as a fan of the drama, I'm really thankful and happy. 🥰🥰🥰

It’s not hard for kiss-asses to brag about how good it is, but the ratings prove otherwise. Let me show you…
I understand your point, and honestly, it’s okay that we see the drama differently. Everyone has their own expectations, especially when it comes to a sequel like Rebirth and its connection to Princess Agents.
For me, I didn’t watch it expecting it to be exactly the same as the first season. I see it more as a continuation where the characters have already grown and changed because of everything they went through. That’s why the dynamic between Chu Qiao and Zhuge Yue feels different now—they’re no longer in a master-servant situation, but partners who fight side by side.
I actually appreciate that Chu Qiao is stronger and more independent this time. It shows her development, not just as a fighter but as a leader. At the same time, Zhuge Yue still shows his strength, just in a more supportive and strategic way, which I personally find meaningful.
The drama definitely has flaws, and it may not meet everyone’s expectations, but I still enjoy it for the story, the characters, and especially the performances. In the end, I think it really depends on what each viewer is looking for 😊

I watched Princess agents long time ago. I love it! Rebirth since its g a sequel, I never expected to be as good or better than the original. Sequels never are. I am enjoying the drama with some reservations. Like many people, I think the female lead was miscast. She just doesnt have the experience to pull off such a strong character. Unfortunately that really brings down the drama . However I m happy with the performance of Yun Rui. He is a good actor who gets better on every new series. Overall I think Rebirth could have been better with different , director and female lead. Having said that, I think it is a good series.

Yan Xun is sooo busy persuaded his obsession to hate her husband and was unaware of rebellion in his kingdom. Man, do your job! Your people need their king. 🙄🥴

I’m really happy that I gave this Rebirth Chinese drama a chance. It made me realize how good it truly is—it’s becoming one of the best dramas I’ve watched.
The male lead, Zhuge Yue, portrayed by Li Yunrui, completely won me over. He is incredibly handsome, charming, and a very talented actor. His performance feels natural and powerful, and his martial arts skills make every fight scene even more exciting. I didn’t expect to be this impressed at first, but through this drama, he truly became my favorite—my bias. Every time he appears on screen, I can’t help but enjoy his scenes.
I also appreciate Chu Qiao, the female lead. She is a beautiful and talented young actress who delivers her role so well. Her acting is strong and convincing, and her martial arts skills—especially her swordsmanship and archery—are amazing. It’s impressive how she brings both strength and emotion to her character at such a young age.
Together, the male and female leads are incredible. Their chemistry, teamwork, and presence make the drama even more engaging and enjoyable to watch.
The second male lead, Yan Xun, is also very impressive. His obsession with Chu Qiao is portrayed with depth and intensity, making his character both compelling and emotional. Even Chun'er stands out—her acting is so effective that you really feel her character’s emotions.
Overall, most of the cast delivered strong performances. The fighting scenes, archery, and swordsmanship are all well-executed and visually exciting. Combined with the emotional storytelling, it makes the drama a truly enjoyable and memorable watch.

I watched Princess Agent way back when, which led me to read the novel twice or more and was willing to give this sequel a chance. I won't lie, i made it to ep 19 painfully....and only cuz i wanted to see more of Li Yun Rui. Damn! He does look good in long hair...esp long grey hair ;)
FL looks 12 years old, had a wide range of facial expressions totalling 2: surprise and one-eye crying(if that's considered an expression. Sorry, she didn't offer much). The ML was turned into a cry baby for whatever reasons especially in the earlier episodes. A complete opposite of his character in the novel.
Since i read the novel a long time ago so i may be a bit fuzzy about the details, but who da hell is this zhan dude. He got more screen time than the main characters!! I don’t remember him at all, was he made up?
Anyway, for those confused about all the flashbacks, it's better to read the novel for yourself. It’s quite thrilling and obviously more interesting. I guess the producers wanted to cover a lot but episodes were limited so they chose this method. It didn't pan out well, looked choppy at best and can be very confusing for 1st time viewers. So, again, read the novel. They had a good cast, but the script wasn't great imho so I'll let the cast off the hook. They did the best they could with what was given to them. I don't think I'll pursue this till the end, ep 19 is my limit. I can’t take any more of the slow-mos and zoom-ins(cringe). Yes, visuals were fantastic but if overdone, it loses flavor.
Tian Tian baby, i have nothing against you darling. I first met you in Listening Snow Tower so i remember you well. I hope your acting will improve as you continue to grow. Sorry you had to come after Zhao Li Ying so we can't help but compare. You have to understand that back then she gave a solid performance and it aint easy stepping into those shoes. But i believe in you, jiayo!! Fighting :))

I watched Episodes 30–31 today, and I’m still really enjoying the drama—so far, so good! I’m especially hooked on Zhuge Yue, portrayed by Li Yunrui. He remains consistently handsome, charming, and captivating in every scene. His presence alone makes each episode even more exciting to watch.
I love how he protects his Queen, Chu Qiao, especially in moments involving Yan Xun. Even his simple gestures feel very romantic—they show how deeply he cares for her. Their relationship continues to grow stronger, and I really enjoy every moment they share together.
I also understand why Chu Qiao still communicates and rides with Yan Xun for the sake of alliances. It shows her wisdom and sense of responsibility, even in complicated situations. Still, for me, nothing compares to the scenes of the King and Queen together—they truly feel like partners who protect not only each other but also the entire Ximeng.
The conflict is getting more intense, especially with the hidden intentions behind alliances. The revelation about the black mining in Ximeng adds another layer of tension to the story. Meanwhile, Chun'er continues to impress me—her acting is so effective that you can really feel her character.
I also enjoyed the moments with Princess Helian and the general—there’s a strong sense of loyalty and teamwork, especially when he protects her. The partnership between General Huan and the General of Yong is also interesting; they work well together, even resolving conflicts among their soldiers.
At the same time, the threats against Ximeng continue to grow, especially from the Faceless God Sect, which keeps creating chaos. The tension increased even more when the decree revealed that the Queen of Ximeng is a Princess of Yong, causing unrest among the people. Despite this, I truly admire how the King of Ximeng continues to protect and stand by his Queen—his loyalty is unwavering.
One of the most beautiful moments for me was when the King and Queen talked about their dreams. When Zhuge Yue shared his wish for a simple life with Chu Qiao—living peacefully as husband and wife, maybe running a teashop or an inn—it felt so heartfelt and genuine. It showed a softer side of him, beyond all the battles and responsibilities. And what I love most is that no matter what Chu Qiao decides, he will always support her.
I’m really hoping for a happy ending for them, even in such a chaotic world. Their love and partnership deserve peace and happiness.
Overall, I’m still very invested in the story and excited for what’s coming next—especially how they will face and defeat the Faceless God Sect!

Wow, Rebirth is ending tomorrow! I think this drama was unfairly treated; it was quite weak. It started with scandals, the female leader's earring incident (which already ruined the show for Chinese fans), OST plagiarism, and even from the first episode, it was dragged down by the director's filming mistakes, etc. But I'm happy that Li Yunrui shone even brighter and showed himself (most people watched/are watching for him anyway). Every episode is a separate event. Everything isn't about statistics. Even though it's quite low on the charts, I love Rebirth. I wish it could have been better... I think the actors were able to show themselves, and most of them are popular. Only the female leader could have been better; she looked very blank in some scenes, and they also made her even weaker.

My favorite character in the Rebirth drama is definitely Zhuge Yue. He is incredibly handsome, charming, and highly skilled in martial arts. His presence on screen is strong and captivating, and the way he carries his character—with both strength and quiet depth—makes him truly unforgettable.
I also really love Chu Qiao. She is not only lovely but also powerful and inspiring. Her martial arts skills are impressive, and her acting is excellent. Even as a younger actress, she delivers her role with confidence and emotion, showing great potential and talent.
Their chemistry together is one of the best parts of the drama. I’m really hoping they will have a happy ending—they truly deserve it after everything they’ve been through.
I also like Chu Qiao’s sidekick; she adds charm to the story and performs her role very well. Her presence brings balance and support to Chu Qiao’s journey.
Overall, it’s a really good drama, and I enjoyed it a lot. The characters, action, and emotional moments all come together beautifully, making it a very satisfying watch.

In a story, you need a contrast to heighten the emotional weigh. In this episode, we learn their genuine wish.…
I know, right? It's human nature to waver, to fear losing their loved one in a situation that they didn't even create. I love how normal Zhuge Yue and Xing Er are. I feel like I watch myself if I were him or her. If they are strong will, never give up, have no internal struggle, they're not human, but robots.

Some audience are getting mad because they see themselves in those characters but refuse to admit it. So they rant and drop the drama. That's how I know how good this drama is.

I love general huan’s little character arc! I wish she was included in more episodes. I hope to god the writer’s don’t kill her off😭. Same with MingLu (Chu Qiao’s sidekick). Both of them are the best female characters (at least still alive) than Chu Qiao. Also, I feel like MingLu’s actress could’ve been Chu Qiao?
