Well, I finally started it and so far I’m liking the way it’s going the creepy king from whichever kingdom Western regions with the weird mask Mr. poisoner from what I understand finally gets his just desserts and episodes 20 something so I hope we can find some antidote for ML as that would suck if he would die at the end and that really makes sense considering the fact that he got a second chance of life. I want to see ML and FL fully reunited and fighting for their causes that they both believe in obviously.

I will say, though this is one of the most divisive comment sections I have ever been in some people love this show. Some people can’t stand the show. Right now I am watching and it’s a good watch. Obviously heavy, but that’s what I knew would happen a hand. I waited until I ended my other heavy shows. I will not form an opinion of any kind until I’m at least 10 episodes in, but after four it’s still very watchable and I want to see what happens next.

Completed 25. Another brilliant episode.

I totally agreed with Anitfa’s comment on this drama. However if you didn’t watch season 1, then watching this with a fresh eye, you may enjoy it better. It’s a WuXia focused with heavy theme of slavery and fighting for freedom, with female centric plot. The ML, SML and FL have relationship entanglement. There were flashbacks in each ep., to help re-capped their past and back story, it’s actually pretty decent, if you follow the flow, you will catch its essence.
As Anitfa, I also can’t bring myself to continue this series.

Just watched episode 24. There have been some inconsistencies at times with this drama. But 24 was an absolute masterpiece. Take a bow CiCi 👏👏👏.

I never saw a ’first season’ or a prequel or whatever. I started watching with a fres eye, slightley irritated with all the nowadays fashionable nagging. 5 eps in … And gues what… I like it and enjoying it. Untill now it keeps me captivated!

I’ve really been enjoying the Rebirth Chinese drama so far. The story has been engaging, with a good balance of action, emotion, and character development. Each episode keeps me interested, and I find myself looking forward to what happens next.
The performances of the cast, especially Chu Qiao and Zhuge Yue, have been impressive. Their journey, growth, and connection make the drama even more meaningful and enjoyable to watch.
I’m really hoping the drama continues to stay strong until the very end—keeping the same level of excitement, storytelling, and emotional impact. I’m excited to see how everything unfolds and how their story will conclude.
Overall, it’s been a great watch so far, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the episodes!

I've just started Rebitrh bc of the controversy I've seen around it on Twitter. I'm 10min in and it's just clear this drama is really well made. Just its dubbing is miles better than a lot of the most popular costume dramas released this year. It's very unfortunate the production dropped the ball with the marketing and casting of the female lead. Also I just finished Princess Agents bc I wanted to see that adaptation of the story and beyond its production quality that drama had such an iconic female lead actress!

My, the story moves so fast, I like it! They execute event after event quiet well, though I wish they would slow down for a minute. 😅

Totally agree, we are free to our own joy and decision. Douban, others, etc does not have the right to decide for us what’s good to watch and not.

This is the Chinese “Game of Thrones” and no character is sacred to be saved. truly different from other montononous Chinese dramas. the tension is killing emotionally but the realities are awesome. episode 23 I thought was a dream only to wake up to reality.

i don't mind about FL's age. it is that she still looks like a child. some actress look older than their age, she isn't one of them. more like the reverse.
only upside is to give closure to princess agent.
