A cautionary tale of a patriarch family who didn't accept their gender fluid child and the child grew up hating…
The revenge really happened because of her mother's death. I think that before her mom died, she was going to just live her life as a woman and be happy, with her mother by her side, but after that, she was ready to battle all of the people who hurt her and her mother.
Usually watching it raw doesn't bother me and I can patiently wait for the subs, but this episode I really need to watch with subs. There was so much going on specially with Bone, Too and Khai. Can't wait until Monday.
Bai Fern's acting is top in this drama! It is so emotional watching it...
Man she's good! I've not seen anything she has done prior to this, but I really like her acting here. Her crying when her mom died was soooo raw and emotional. I totally believed her.
While I think she has every right to decide on who plays her characters...we can't forget that is she who also described how they looked. But since it's fiction, I guess liberties are usually taken, but I kind of see what @JSCJ was getting act with the look of certain characters.
I'm still not sold on this...I didn't really go gaga for the first cast, though there were some nice moments. I'm going to watch it anyways to see if I change my mind. I am in the minority here..I don't see the chemistry people are talking about, but then again this was just Ep 0 which has very little real content for me to really get a sense of their acting. Hopefully I will like this continuation.
I kind of knew the gist of the episode when I watched it raw, but watching it subbed...MAN that was so close to home for me. I've been in the same position as Third with an unrequited love, but luckily that person never pretended to like me in order to find out my feelings for him. I was brave enough to confess to him and he let me down as expected, but we remained good friends. But pretending to be interested to get that person to confess is so messed up! I understand that in the book Third is no angel, but I truly don't think that he and Khai make for a healthy couple. Khai is beyond self-centered, egoist, and manipulative (not just with Third but with the women he had "Dated") and Third seems to be a door mat when it comes to Khai plus he needs so serious alone time to learn to love himself first.
Again Gun and Off showing how good they can actually act if given the right script, which this story has done so far.
Okay, I'm confused. Why is everyone so mad at Khai in this ep? Maybe I missed something. I probably should watch…
You mean next episode ? He and Bone made a bet that Khai could get Third to confess his feelings to him, because Bone said that Third likes Khai, but Khai didn't think so. He still went along with the bet. Third then heard them talking about it in the bathroom and he decides to leave Khai's apartment and moved in with Two. Third tells Two what happened and he becomes angry with Khai, because he wanted Third and Khai to be together, because he cared for them. So, in a way Two is protective of Third and is angry at Khai for the bet. Bone probably gets angry at him as well because he realizes that he was right about Third's feelings for Khai. Either way, the foursome are not going to be as close as before in the coming episodes.
I caved. Watched it raw. Now am freaking out like "WHAT DID HE OVERHEAR!!!????"
If i remember correctly, that part is already translated in one of the trailers. I'll look for it..aackk..never mind it's a different scene they have in the trailer or Khai talking to Bone in the bathroom...here around the 2:58 mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoNu7BYOHLg...
omg yeas! even the couples of the first season too :(((
IT would be cool to see, since the doctor in Trapped is actually related to Jiang Jin Ten according to the director. So it kind of cute how they had that bit of relationship hidden in plain sight!
So the subber posted stuff that after the newest trailer for the last episodes dropped, the wild Chinese fans…
I agree. There is no need to cancel anything just because a minority of fans want to cause problems. I would join on that and show my love for their work.
