Holy Canoli, what the F is going on with MDL comment sections? you can critique something about a drama so long as it is valid, but downright hating actors and being racist is just so weird. What the heck does an English accent get people riled up? Britsh people have accents, Irish people have accents, etc. It is only when a person of color has an accent that racists come out of the woodwork to bash. Ugg hating? More like jealousy cause some people can speak more than one language!

Anyways, this is so exciting! I can't wait to see where this goes. There are already some speculations as to what may have happened to Porshe's parents (maybe the mafia had something to do with it)

I also loved the attention to the "Queen" chess piece. Porsche is the Queen that Kinn needs (Obviously I am not trying to feminize Porsche) but the role is pretty much about him being Kinn's protector, his right hand, and also the one he will listen to as they grow older. The only piece on the chessboard that is the most important and you can't lose the Queen or the game is over.

I can't wait and I hope it doesn't disappoint!

No judgment, I think the majority of the people here are in it for that. Personally, I am here for the Dark Mafia underworld plot with the side of romance cause I was tired of the same cookie-cutter stories that saturated the market. At some point, we need some adult stuff too. The erotic stuff I will probably just watch with my hands over the eyes LOL

I'm not into these types of mangas (though I have read quite a few) but for James, I'll watch. He's so adorable and I have loved him in everything he has done. Also, Mark making a cameo? Sign me up, I want to see what he will do with this role.

The show is still cingy though, but in a good campy way. No need to take it seriously. the good thing is that the development of the story/characters seems to keep growing with each episode so it is going in teh right direction for sure.

I loved Seng so much in Why R U and thought he was hilarious, but here he is just showing so much range. Like I want to kick him for being an idiot, but also he's so precious too and everyone has such great chemistry with each other. I am excited for the Daisy and Touch (they are a couple right?) to start. This episode was actually solid for the level of campiness it was going for and everyone delivered.

So this will be an anthology of couples? Mini-stories centered around each couple? Like the concept of HIStory in that each couple got their own story? Seems really interesting.

They were a couple. The evidence is in the last episode where they hold hands and walk together towards their place.

LOL not ashamed to watch it. I've watched worse dramas. I just hope that they tone down the creepiness/cringe level a bit as they get more into it. Still a fun watch.

Yes he is really a good actor. It's sad that he has to come to the BL world to be able to get the fame he should have had for a while now. What I love about this new Apo is that he truly went all in for this role. He trained with real police/martial artists and isn't shy about getting down and dirty. Lets hope that KP is really a good drama with good story/characters and that it helps solidified him.

IT was finally time for him to shine. I've been following him for years and wondered why he wasn't as mainstream as other actors.

my gosh, this is such a beautiful mess! Like the type of campy crappy movies you watched as a kid and still watch now but in secret because it's so cringing....but still entertaining AF...I think this is the type of drama that is mindless and just makes me laugh so hard and every character is just weird and sometimes too much, but it really is just the type of drama you can't take seriously. It is borderline satire and I'm sure this was done on purpose.

AS someone who works in the courts, yes most cases are actually a long a$$ process that can take years. I have a client who unfortunately is still incarcerated (three years and counting) though he hasn't been found guilty, but can't post bail either, so his case continues to linger.

You've never met a smaller on the side person who can kick a$$? I know plenty who are cops, marines and martial artists and yes even gang members (some are my clients in court) Totally realistic casting as his size has nothing do with with the skills needed to portray someone like that.

It's one thing to have the couple be in the story from the get-go or at least a progression of their relationship grow as we watch. Is another to completly change a character from the source material (i.e. the book) from being in love with one of the main characters to then have him go after the main character's girlfriend. It just seemed like a decision made by higher ups to include a het couple. They could have done that without sacrificing Gram's character. Also, their relationship to me was horrible. Gram went after his best friend's girl and persisted even when she friendzoned him a few times. He persisted until he wore her resolve down and it was during a time when she was still trying to get over Black. It just seemed opportunistic and kind of weird that Gram who seems to be such a stand up guy would even do that.

Maybe it is in his contract? I don't know really, but I think he could be a lead in a BL with no issue if they wanted to milk it. He has great chemistry will a lot of the GMM boys.

I have no idea! But this is the second time that Mond has been kind of ghosted when it comes to BL couple. He was supposed to be a couple with another actor in Waterboyys the series and it never went anywhere!
