My jaw hit the floor with that trailer. It was even more R-rated than the first one, which means that they wont…
Yeah very true. This is one of those genres, where you can't come in with puritan mind/moral compass because when it comes to the underground, all bets are off.
Nobody wants to see my reaction to this, I will probably scare people LOL this was beyond what I was expecting, let's hope the drama doesn't disappoint. I am ready for a darker mature storyline.
I am reading it now and it is okay might be due to the translation not being that great either. Nothing amazing…
since I've only read a bit of KinnPorsche yeah I am LOL... I'm sure that KinnPorsche is probably wilder so I have to keep reading it. The trailer alluded to all of the crazy stuff that should be in the book and more.
and if y'all see me on the news for bribing and extorting multiple gmmtv executives for a gun and sing bl where…
LOL given how much hate Sing got for playing the "villain" in puppy honey as he was pursuing Gun I would love to see him get Gun in a new drama! That would be hilarious.
There are many reasons people have pointed out, but none seem to be it since no mods seem to address this issue, so it all ends up being speculations. I personally think that they favor Korean and Chinese het dramas (barely any articles are written about amazing BL shows) more than anything, with Korean one being the absolute favorite child. But again, this is just a personal observation. I wish the rating system was actually transparent and we knew how they gather this data. They should just not allow any ratings for any shows until it has aired. I know this show is rated super high in other places (well deserved) but MDL just seems to knock off points instead, which also makes it sus.
Who read the novel? Can you tell me if the story is good? Everything so far looks amazing! and I really want to…
I am reading it now and it is okay might be due to the translation not being that great either. Nothing amazing about it to be honest. I am into mafia stuff so for me I was looking forward to the dark side of things. If you have read Counter attack also known as "Falling in love with a rival" the novel, then this is child's play compared to that so far. That one really put in weird stuff LOL. I am only on like chap 3 though, so as I said, so far it is okay.
Does anyone know why "GMMTV TREAT NOT ME BETTER" is trending. The tweets are just people being angry with no context
Seriously I don't get people. It's not easy for a company in a country that can easily censor things to take on such a project and promote it openly. I've read various sources that say this drama had to go through various changes before it could even air. Like I mean, I don't even like GMM half the time cause they don't know how to promote some of their artists, but this is a non-issue. Thailand has been going through civil turmoil for some time now and a drama depicting this would probably be canned before it hit the filming schedule. That we were able to get this out and actually watch it, I am amazed.
ok, based on your opinion, who do ya'll like better? Black or White? and why, i'm curious 😄
Black...like seriously I love White I do, but I've always liked characters like Black as they are so complicated and complex and usually the anti-villains of the story. But White is a close second! my third fav is Sean :)
Ummm....what if in the end Black and Todd are the ones who end up running the whole thing? (are the real villains/anti-villains) Their conversation both in the past and in the present sort of alludes to an alliance between them. Todd says you must have the power to run/rule and Black says that power corrupts (though the actual saying is absolute power corrupts, just having some power isn't enough) What if Black is the one that can keep Todd from going full corrupt, allows him to do his illegal shenanigans while at the same time using Todd's power and money to make a difference in the community? Also, Black and White's mother's conversation with White also parallels this same idea. You can't have a Utopian world, we are living proof right now that this will never be accomplished so long as some humans seek total power and control. There must be a balance even when we don't agree with it. Todd allowed Black to leave (we don't even know what their conversation went, so we might even get a flashback about that conversation) Never mind that I've been saying since episode 6 or so that Todd is probably in love with Black or at least sees him as someone really important to him. Despite the attack on Black. He could have easily killed him but didn't.
We often give away certain things (such as rights and freedoms) for the sake of "peace" so this drama has really hit the nail on the head with how the world tends to operate. No matter how "free" or peaceful your country is, behind that is someone/ or some with power with whom you have unknowingly given some of your rights in order to live that life.
I am going to say that NOT ME (the title of the drama) is pretty spot on (apropos), we don't know who the IT person is and everyone is suspect.
From the look of it, Sean and Black will be best brothers in law 😂
Or it will be hella weird cause the twins feel each other's emotions etc so every single time White and Sean are doing the deed, Black is also doing it by extension! One of them has to move away LOL
things like violent acts have been imitated by the public time and again, so it is always best to put up a warning. There are people who do like imitating what they see on tv/movies and do take it too far.
