Ep. 7 and 8 go slow after the ride from episode 5-6.
yes, agree. but I'm guessing ep. 9-12 will pick up the pace again as there is a lot to wrap up still. I'm curious how they will tackle the whole time travelling thing with so little drama time left
Seeing all the Instagram posts make it look like there is a lot of romance between the main couple. Is that the…
there is romance, but it's def more of a subplot as fl's revenge is the main theme. All the romantic scenes we get are fire though (and the revenge ones are really satisfying). Totally worth the watch
Started pretty interesting, but it had many slow moments like boring conversations between the writer and his…
right? the first episodes were soo fire that it shocked at the time at how the MDL rating was so low. But as I kept watching I understood why. It's a shame since the drama had the potential to be a banger, had they fixed pacing, fillers and tweaked the plot here and there
Story was good but it was too draggy 😐 unnecessary talking and running . They could have finished it in 10…
I find that kdramas under 16 episodes tend to be superior-- better pacing, less filling and just overall more gripping. Wish they changed the overall default 16-episode format to like 12, unless the plot really justifies 16 hours; that would avoid so much dragging across kdramas
honestly i found that plot twist to be so dark and wild for such a light themed show, that it just made it ten…
I feel like that twist would be okay (and actually interesting entertainment-wise, as you said) if they didn't normalize it afterwards. They portrayed it as merely a hopeless romantic act, and just a misunderstanding/little obstacle they should move past as a married couple... when it was in fact completely deranged and psycho-like. (which again, would be a completely plausable and interesting twist had they not glossed over and romanticized it).
but then how would the sister have gotten the contract?
You do have a point. They never show us he himself reading the contract, we just assumed what he found was the marriage contract. He may have instead found other documents.
Also, he seemed more apologetic towards the fl after reading the docs as you said-- and so his reaction would make sense if he realised the fl found out her family was lying about her being adopted the whole time
I thought I'd be frustrated by today's episode but I'm glad it ended positively. This is the good thing about…
I think it's quite refreshing that the in-laws are actually supportive and caring towards the FL. They all seem to have common sense (other than disabled brother ofc), which is rare in this kdrama genre.
