You are forgetting in ep 1 the FL went to Tiandu (the city that is always locked) and they were turned away, the ML proceeded to tell his archers to shoot at them which lead to the FL’s mother getting shot

their chemistry is great already 😩 but the FL is gonna want the ML dead once she realises he’s the reason why her mother is dead

Morally gray but he definitely does villianous things in the latter episodes but he’s not the villain

It’s near impossible for Yan to have specific beef with WZ because of the age he was when she, her sister and Prince Qu went to Yueluo. And if I remember correctly WZ only became aware of the Yan sisters when he started interacting with PY.

So most likely when she said “Anyone but him”, it’s because of guilt about what happened to Yueluo

I won’t spoil too much, but thats not XWX and JC’s it’s JC and PY
